Overall I love this wig! It is giving me life! I purchased this wig in a 1b and I purchased it for $79.99. #1 thing i love about this wig is that I can slap it on my head without combing it or having to style it. It does come with baby hair in the front that was too long for my liking so I had to cut it a little bit. It comes with a 4×4 swiss lace but thing i hate about that is that the parting stop short and then the sides of the wig are just clumped together without the parting space of each box braid, making it look a little wigish but of course you can hide it. Another thing about this unit is that it's braided most of the way down but then afterwards it is twisted at the ends. You can seal the ends with hot water not not required. I would give this unit 5 stars but due to how the parting stops on the side and the way the braids are clumped together, that was a little bit of a disappointment. I hate getting my hair braided but I love the styles, so this unit was right up my alley. Quick shipping overseas. The parting space is less than 4×4. The hair is not thick/dense enough for the top knot that the model is wearing. Cap is tight enough on my big head so no need to glue down for me. Smaller heads will need gel/glue. The baby hairs are also very long and need shaving down before tweezing. Despite the flaws I'm going to make this work. It is a beautiful unit and I'm glad I got one before they sold out. I hope to get the loc'ed version when it's restocked. This is going to be my vacation hair.
I used to worry that because I have fine hair I would not never be able to get SENEGALESE twists but this wig completely resolved my issue and it exceeded my expectations. When I wear it, I honestly forget it’s a wig! It’s made with such detail as if you sat down for 6 hours to get your hair twisted! The baby hairs are perfect. I sealed the ends with hot water and always keep it lengthened on a wig head to prevent damage to the twists. I highly recommend this wig 100% and plan to purchase another in a different color. I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! I did use some creative Bobby pins but for reference I only have a really bad picture of myself so please don't be harsh on the ridiculous face I'm making and take a look at the hair…remember this was before styling it or trimming….becky.e

When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi
The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.

The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I did receive the piece quickly and as always WS1 is around to answer any questions.E.N.
I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. But looking forward to enjoying those two.Carmen
This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.
