Always Wig Color Rl14/22 For Sale (2024 Update)

I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! If you have any worries about people thinking you’re wearing a wig “let it go” because no one will have a clue. Wish I could leave pics because it is stunning!Sherry

I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah

I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

What fun this is. It has been 40 years since I have used a wig, fall, or a headpiece. I expected wigs had changed for the better. I was not disappointed with my new wig. This was so real looking, easy to style, light weight and fit my head size. I chose: a medium priced wig neither the cheapest nor most expensive, a medium length, On Your Game Style by Raquel Welch. I chose a color close to my hair, Golden Walnut. Due to sickness and medications, I have 50% hair loss. I find I need to wear my wig all day at work and this wig holds up. I am outside 30 minutes a day in the southern sun without getting to hot. If fastened correctly, it does not ride up or get crooked. I have experienced no head aches. I have ordered wigs from Vogue for years. The last wig I purchased was not the quality nor the color I expected. I returned the wig and was charged a $35.00 restocking fee. In my opinion Customer Service does not matter anymore. I am also disappointed with quality. This will be my last order.Nancy B.

A TOTAL ripoff!! I ordered the Raquel Welch wig 'On Your Game.' The wig I received did not look like the picture in any shape, form or fashion. I was so disappointed! I (too late) looked at the reviews for this company. If I had looked before I ordered I wouldn't have ordered. Most of their reviews are terrible. I don't know how they stay in business.Linda L

The color and style of this wig was absolutely beautiful! Great quality, great style, great price & would definitely recommend for gals that prefer darker colored hair. Unfortunately when I held this one up to my face, the color made me look completely washed out. I have started the return/exchange process for a blonde color. I have 100% hair loss and a sensitive scalp. I bought this one to wear around the house with a thick cotton liner on those days when I need a break from the adhesives I use with my 100% hand tied wigs. It's a great style. I wish it came in a 100% hand tied version WITHOUT that cone-head "bump" on the crown that's so unnatural. Since it's a wear-away-from-the-face style, the lace front should be ear-to-ear instead of just the crown. Please find a more comfortable lace because the standard is itchy. The Glazed Strawberry bills itself as a "light red" but it reads as brown. I wish more wig manufacturers offered light reds that look honestly red, not brown, not orange/ginger, but real red strawberry blonde with blonde streaks. Glazed Strawberry is nice but just too dark and too brown.Tish

I found her on Clearance at Wigstudio1.com. I love her. Her fibers are regular synthetic and the density is light. If there is permatease it is not noticable. The lace front is spectacular and leaves a perfect hairline. Thank you Wigstudio1 for being such a wonderful retailer!Denise B.

I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

I bought this wig in Gray Color 56/60. I an 62, have olive skin and a small oval face with a pointed chin and this style looks AMAZING! It is my FAVORITE WIG because of the triangular angled shape seen from the front-brings out my eyes, and draws my face up and out. I like to wear my hair off my face, and with a little steaming and synthetic safe hairspray, the wig stayed put and stopped hanging down in front of my eyes. It looks very natural off my face because of the beautifully done lace front hairline, which melts right into my skin tone. My head measurement is 21.75 circumference,12 inches ear to ear and 12 inches from the top of the forehead to the occipital bone. My face, forehead to chin is 8 inches long. The wig is very comfortable, and i would definitely buy it again!.Julia P.
