My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. I love this wig. It’s so beautiful. The hairline is spacious and can be parted anywhere. The curls are full n the texture of the hair is perfect. I made a middle part and a side part and it looked perfect both ways.i didn’t have any tangling either. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about this wig before. It’s a well kept secret. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. This is really good quality hair for this price. The lace is incredibly thin making it look like it’s coming from your scalp. Easy to install and comes with a nice elastic strap attached to the cap. The cap is well made and breathable. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the lace is SUPER delicate. Because it’s thin it’s really easy to rip so be gentle when styling. This wig is so wonderful! I literally was able to cut the extra lace off and put it on! It laid flat. The hair part looks so natural, no need for makeup unless you’d prefer a darker look. The lay of the hair is “butta” so smooth. The color is amazing, it matches so well with my skin tone. The wig has three clips; one on both sides and one in the back. The only drawback for me is it does not have a band to add more stay security. My head is a bit small, so I need that extra support. This wig turned so many heads. I originally ordered this because of a fantastic YouTube review . It didn’t live up to my expectations. Pros the hair is soft , nice and I’ve received so many compliments. It’s so long too !! I’m 5’8” and it went past my waist. It looks natural and can get it wet for the wet look with eco style gel ,but that style doesn’t last long. Cons it tangles SO MUCH not to the point where I can’t wear it but I know it’s going to be a daily issue if I wear it everyday. I wish the lace was longer because it barely reached my ears despite it being “ big head friendly.”Jay

It is a great wig, so many good things to say, I use it specially for work, I forget that I'm wearing a wig, the stretch cap fits perfectly and it's so realistic even when I touch it, you could feel the human hair. First, I am so grateful that Ellen Wille recently designed several 100% hand tied wigs for petites.. I have medical hair loss and a very small, very sensitive scalp. This is what I like about the Icone: 1. It's believable! Just the right amount of hair, no fake looking bump at the back. Nobody will guess it's a wig. 2. Gorgeous color choices. I am wearing Honey Mix in the photo. 3. Looked good right out of the box. This is what I don't like: 1. The netting at the hair line is itchy for me sometimes – but that's true of most of these sheer/natural hairlines, because the edge is raw. Not sure how to fix it, design-wise. 2. Though the 100% hand tied part is comfortable, the edges of the felt ear and nape tabs feel rough. This is a design/manufacturing issue that could be corrected. I cover the edges with hair tape. 3. It sheds a lot. More than other wigs I've owned. This might be typical of long 100% hand tied wigs, but I'm not sure. 4. Since it's a longish wig, the ends get chewed up real fast. This is typical of long synthetic wigs, but the Icone started getting rough looking after the second or third wash. . At some point I will take it to the salon to cut off the ends, maybe into a bob. 5. Limited color choices. For instance, Ellen Wille doesn't design many reds, which is a shame. I wish the Icone came in a strawberry blonde or a cool light red with gold highlights. Would I buy it again? Yes, for a special occTish

A beautiful wig. I returned cause color wrong for me. It had perfect natural height for me without permatease. It did want to flip – it lands on my shoulders. I haven’t reordered in better color yet because there was a bunch of dry unattractive ends right where it flipped. I don’t know if I can fix that with conditioner. Not enough experience. So I’ll try a couple other wigs first. I have an EW French wig, less expensive, no dry stiff hairs. Wish I knew more.

I first decided to purchase a wig when a hair cut gone wrong left me looking like Opie Taylor. I definitely did not want what the look the ladies in my mother's "retirement" community had! I wanted to have hair that I had in high school, many many eons ago, the thick healthy hair. I started researching wigs and liked the idea of human hair, but still had trepidation that I would spend that much still I'd look as if I had someone else's hair on my head. I went into a local beauty supply and the girl at the counter had the most gorgeous hair. We chatted about wigs and she said she was wearing a Vivica Fox wig Now! It looked great and so natural, but then again, she was maybe 25 years old. They didn't have wigs in the store so I went home and Googled Vivica Fox. I saw the pic of the "Brie" wig and thought, yes, that's It! The lowest price was here at VogueWigs so I clicked, went in and found even the color I wanted! I took a deep breath and hit order and have not been happier Since! The Brie is soft, moves like hair, not stiff or hair sprayed looking. You can curl it, wash it, and even sleep with it on without pain! I absolutely love this wig and now that I've taken the wig plunge, I've ordered several more Vivica Fox styles. Wigs are a new thing for me as I've come to terms that I have to live with hair loss due to nothing that the doctors I've gone to can find. They say it's menopause–which I started ten years ago. Anyway the length of the hair that I still have is about the same length at the Brie wig. The reviews and the photos of the women wearing the wig were enough for me to order. Girls–you look marvelous! I received this today and straight out of the box I plopped it on my head. Nothing except for a bit of a trim on the bangs was needed. I haven't had time to "play" with my Brie yet and position her just so but I don't think I'll need to. There is a wonderful amount of volume in this wig. It's a tad shiny but I'll fix that with dry shampoo. It really looks great and I'm looking forward to much confidence while wearing. Would I reorder? Yes. Definitely. The price point on this wig is extraordinary. It is well-constructed and just looks really great. It is a light wig and not heavy and fits very comfortably. I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I called customer service and was told it is a different manufacturer and no return because it’s a final sale. Now I have to spend another $50.00 to get it cut and styles just so that it’s wearable. I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy
I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. But, I do have long hair that I wear up in a mesh wig cap – so maybe it would be OK for someone with very fine short hair.Erin W.
