I haven't worn this wig because it has two different patterns or textures. It is nice and curly all over until you get to the back of your head, then it just gets straight and looks like flyaways that cannot be tamed. I plan to contact the company to see if that's the way it is supposed to be or if this is an irregular wig.Lillian W.

This wig is the worst wig I ever brought. It smelled like bug spray, I washed it over and over again and I couldn't get rid of the smell. I threw it in the trash. This is a waste of money.RiyYah K.

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I actually forgot I purchased this wig and it was too late to return it. It looked nothing like the picture, had a funny smell (maybe a product was used on it) this made me wash it, condition it and air dry. It didn't help. My first unhappy purchase of Bobbi Boss. Going to try a product for curly hair and get the scissors because it's not styled like the picture.Miss V.

After my first review, I rewashed the wig in a 2 n 1 shampoo in warmer water than usual and towel dried. Tacked it on a wig head and applied some DNA to small sections at a time while it was damp and a little drippy. Once I finished, I parted in into sections and combed it thoroughly from the 'root'. I was surprised how tangled it was but I didn't lose a lot of hair. I was worried it was some bad hair, but the curly hair responded well to the product (it's for naturally curly hair). Then I put it on and styled it still combing though. I cut in some bangs which look like curly baby hair and the wig looks more like the picture but better. The hair was a little longer so it works. It took 40 mins to comb it and hour to complete everything. So overall I am way more pleased with this wig than I was at first. If it were not human hair, I would've called it a loss. I look forward to wearing it tomorrow.Miss V.

I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.

Didn't Use It. I love the Mommy Wig but I've gotten it in 4/30, 4/24 and 4/27/30 No one has these colors, but I trust and used Ebonyline always. I ordered this hopping that the color would work. I absolutely looooooove this wig. I was a little skeptical about wearing a wig, in fact I said……"I'll NEVA wear a wig". OMG…..I bought the Mommy wig Aug 25th, received it about 4 days later. I made an appoint to get my hair braided in a circle, the type people get when they wear a weave. I must say…….today is October 26th, and I have worn this wig EVERY DAY, with the exception of 3 – 4 days when I just threw on a basball cap. I LOOOOOVE IT! I have naturally long hair, almost @ my bra strap, but this is a way for me to ROCK a short a cut, without cutting my own hair. I literally have people stop me and say…." I love your hair cut" this is no joke. My own sister and several friends, thought I had cut my hair, until I told them. I guess you have to know how to STYLE IT, and ROCK IT with MAD CONFIDENCE! It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. I’m currently in the process of having a Freedom Wig created and an thrilled to have this beautiful hair while I wait for it!Ariel H.

The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.

I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.

The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS

Due to a mishap at the salon, I need a wig for the next 6 months to year. I tried the emotion wig and returned it (from this site and the return process was easy) . The blake is much fuller and realistic. My husband thought it was my hair. I bought in on the advice of a customer representative, and am so pleased with it I bought another for a backup. I wear the wig for 12 hours with a grip band and it's very comfortable and stays in place quite well. The cap size might run a bit larger but I am quite pleased overall. Glad I got the petite size.Adriane

This review is very long but I hope it can help some other people thinking about buying this wig. If you are spending $2k you really need to do your research more than I did….here is my experience. I bought this wig a couple months ago because I wanted a nice luxurious human hair wig to wear at work that looked as realistic as possible. I chose this wig despite the price based on the great reviews on this site. I had problems ordering online…the site was being buggy so I had to call and order through the phone. Upon receiving this wig in the mail I was SO excited. I opened the box and just held it stroking the hair LOL. I ordered the champagne blonde 22/16s8 and the color is very nice even though it's a little darker than I thought it would be based on the color swatch. This wig definitely needs to be cut and styled because it just comes very long in pretty much one length with a few long layers at the bottom. When I first received it the wig was very silky and styled nice and straight. The hair dries wavy. It does NOT stay secure with only a regular wig cap on for me at least. After trying a few things out I figured out the best way to secure it is by wearing a cream colored velvet wig band…it's like a hair band you wear under the wig and the velvet keeps it from sliding backwards. (got mine on Amazon for very cheap). I was so excited to wear this wig because it felt so silky and looked so beautifulSarah

I finally but the bullet and purchased this wig, and have never been so happy! I purchased it in the Shaded Sun color, and it is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a warm ombré blonde, and looks almost exactly like my old hair did before cancer. It is silky, wonderful hair, and I cannot wait to style it and wear her out! Vogue Wigs had absolutely the best price for this piece, and I am so thankful to have her now. The wig is impeccably made – you just can’t get better fir a long wig. Love!!Taylor C.

I'm on about my 5th wig since I lost my hair last year to alopecia. I used to have really long blonde, curly hair that I got compliments on daily. This made it hard to deal with going totally bald. I was using a $400 synthetic wig recently and it was okay, but didn't look like me and got yucky from the heat on my neck. I finally splurged on this one when I realized it would be at least another year before I'd have enough hair to do something different. I seriously can't say enough good things about this wig; it makes me look 10 years younger than the other one I had. I didn't like it at first though, it was all thin and straight. I sprayed it down with water and let it dry naturally to get some volume. Then I curled it just a little to ad more volume. Now I LOVE it. Looks so natural and pretty. I'm going to try to attach a photo. This is it combed out after I did a little with a big curling iron. Color is perfect on me (was the lightest color it came in). I feel like I could curl it all to look like the model in the photo with the curls. I may order a 2nd one to keep already curled if I can afford it. (Selfie photos never look as good – but I promise this wig is amazing!)Sandra

I washed it for the 1st time using your line of hair care and it was so frizzy after I was done blow drying it. I did a zoom consultation with Kerry Smith ( who is amazing) and she explained what to do to fix the problem. I will be following her directions step by step and she really put my mind at ease that this will fix the problem. I’ve worn this Sienna wig every day for over months now. I shampoo and deep condition 2-3 times a month and the hair still feels very soft and smooth (not matting). After wearing synthetic wigs for 40 yrs, I will only wear HH from now on. I personally do not find this particular wig time consuming to style or care for. While I did so for the photo, I rarely use a curling iron or blow dryer on it (just air dry and gently comb) and have never trimmed this wig or taken it to a salon. The color is holding up well and not fading. About twice a week I pour a very small amt of Argan oil into my palms and smooth it into the hair to keep it from drying out. With spring/summer approaching, I just purchased a new Sienna and will wear my current one for outdoor activities (more heat/sweat = add’l stress on fibers). If I enjoy 9-12 months of continual wear from a wig and it still looks this great, I’m very happy with the purchase and believe I got my money’s worth!Courtney
