Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own. Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. The formulation is on the thicker side which helps keep the glitter in tact. Add a quick dry top coat and you’re done! Highly recommend! If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I absolutely hate waiting for polish to dry. We all got stuff ta to you know? What's worse is waking up realizing that you've somehow smeared your polish that should have dried hours ago in your sleep. Can anyone relate? Well that was not happen with this polish. It dries so quickly that unless you're just not paying attention you can't mess it up. It goes on well too, as well as any polish I've tried and I don't buy the cheap stuff. Here's the cons. It chips easily if you do not wear gloves when doing work around the house or if you have to wash your hands a lot. It's also hard to remove. I scrub and scrub and the three kinds I have with shimmer in them, the glitter wants to hang on no matter what. Then there's the health of my nails. I'm pretty sure that this polish has made my nails peel at the tips so it's probably drying my nails. Ok so if you need a quick manicure this is the polish for you. If you hate waiting or just don't have time to wait this is the polish for you. I would recommended trying a base coat, which I am going to try soon, to see if it helps the issues I've mentioned.Brynn
This is some of the best nail polish I've tried, and I do home manis every week. The colors are on point, more unique than other brands which is one thing I love about this brand. This formula dries smooth and clear, and lasts. I wash my hands a lot and polish only lasts 2-3 days before I need a touch up, but it's easy to touch up and color blends smoothly. Best of all, it does dry quickly which is a huge selling point for me because I tend to paint my nails before bed while winding down and watching TV, and never seem to leave enough time for them to dry before I'm ready for bed! This was my first time trying Essie and I am extremely impressed. It's quick dry in about a minute meaning I can do right before bed and it's not wrecked in the morning. I was also impressed with my application because normally I 'colour outside the lines' lol. But it wasn't me- it's their first ever angled brush that makes applying with your non-dominant hand a breeze. It also has amazing staying power- one coat lasted over 10 days. First off, the item I was given to try seems to be different from the item I'm left to review on here. Pictures of the actual product have been provided. Anywho, mine is a gold cream product that dries fast and actually leaves my nails shiny and cuticles moisturized like it promised! I totally wasn't expecting it to perform well, but I'm glad it did. The fast drying made it convenient for me to do my homework on my laptop. It peels off easily too. It has a fresh, floral, almost powder-like smell, but it's light and not overwhelming at all. The sponge tip allows for the cream to be buffed out which I liked because the alternative would've been to use my fingertips which would've made a mess. My cuticles have been dry and my gel nail polish on my thumb has gotten dinged up so it's lost a lot of its shine. After taking off the mask, my cuticles are moisturized with less cracks. The polish on my nail got some of its shine back without ruining the polish too which I'm stoked about. I recommend this product to touch up your cuticles and old polish. It makes for a fun little bonus to your spa day! I never knew nail masks existed, but I'm glad to know now through this free product to test.
This review is for Sally Hansen Revive Peel off Nail Mask. I’ve never used a nail mask before. The smell is a lovely coconut scent similar to the Colourpop SOL body highlighters. It smells like a coconutty sun screen and summer goodness. The applicator is very nice as well, it reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury highlighter/contour products that come out of a spongey applicator tip. The product itself is even shimmery gold like a beautiful facial cosmetic product would be, but this is just for your finger tips and nails! I do my nails entirely at home these days, and sometimes my cuticles give it away. I noticed they looked a lot more calm, flush against my fingertips/nails, like healthy hydrated cuticles should look. The only complaints: I don’t think my sample contains the hyaluronic acid it boasts elsewhere (I’ve read and reread the ingredients list of the product I was sent and compared it to the ingredients list online), and mine wouldn’t peel off very easily. The instructions say to apply a “small amount” and “thin layer” to each nail/finger tip/cuticle, but that’s too subjective. I applied too thin and it wouldn’t peel off my nail. I got better results from applying enough product to reach the gold pigmentation of the product’s opacity, then it peeled off easier. Either way, you can just rinse it off, too. I rarely write reviews but I have to say this is my absolute new favorite nail polish! I thought that it being natural would result in less durability but I was a soap wrong. Regular nail polish lasts me about a week at the most. With the Sally Hansen natural mail strengthener underneath, two coats of this polish and a quick-drying top coat from another brand, this has lasted a week and a half now and doesn’t show any sign of chipping. Revlon Unicornicornicopia Holochrome nail polish is beautiful. It glides on smoothly as long as enough drying time (2-3 min between coats) is given. I initially put a second coat on 45 seconds later and had some clumpiness – user mistake. To me, Unicornicornicopia looks like a shimmery (not glittery or sand-like) lavender color that – with movement and light – looks like a bluish steel (grayish) color. So the polish color takes on differing shades as it maintains shimmer. Using no base coat or top coat, I wore this enamel for four days before chipping started. I imagine that it could be worn longer without chipping if basecoat and topcoat were used. To give even more depth of color, a third coat of Unicornicornicopia is a good idea. At a retail price of $6.49 Revlon Holochrome Nail Enamel is a great value. Unicornicornicopia could be worn for fancy (holiday, proms/homecomings, weddings, tea parties, etc) or be worn casually for a little sparkle day-to-day. It is truly Unicorn Holo Shimmer Magic. I've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. No, apparently it's been discontinued and what's left around is way too expensive to even think about buying. The biggest thing I love about this polish is it didn't destroy my nails. After taking the polish off, my nails weren't dry, brittle, chipping and didn't break as much when kept polished. Tried the gel nails once, took me months to get my nails re-grown, needless to say, I went right back to a lite shade of the enamel, then back to Serene. Won't make that mistake again. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have Totally Toffee, but it's a bit darker and I absolutely don't do pinks or weird color. Am a porcelain skinned strawberry blonde with green eyes and reds/pinks look horrible on me. Any color with a gray overtone makes my nails look like they are dead. So, unless I can talk Revlon into bringing back that particular color, anyone have any ideas on shades along that line?Gigi
This review is technically supposed to be for the shade Privileged, but I have so many of these Revlon nail polishes that I would like to talk about all the ones I own. The formulation is pretty consistent across the board. The brush is a good size- not too thick, not too thin, not too sparse. It gives me the control that I need to get a thin and even layer on, as opposed to some cheaper brushes that would result in clumping or taking away product. The only shades I would say are little sheer and need 3 coats for the most impact are 660 Divine and 909 Sheer Petal. Divine doesn't look like it from just looking at the bottle, but once applied on the nails, is a vampy brownish red. Sheer Petal is quite pale and has a delicate kind of beauty, but beware, the sheerness can exaggerate an uneven application. All the other polishes I have look pretty great in 2 coats: 570 Vixen, 450 Hypnotic, 917 Plum Seduction, 215 Daydreamer, 640 Fearless, 715 Privileged, 415 Totally Toffee, 320 Serene, 915 Creme Brulee, 020 Pure Petal, 905 Sophisticated, 410 Dreamer, 590 Trendy, 585 Bohemian, and 495 Sultry. I was looking for a muted, nude kind of shade with a cream finish and I stumbled across Know the Espa-Drille and, let me tell you, it is the best nail polish I have ever had. It dries quite fast, last decently (2 days with my constant hand washing and the fact that I am allergic to acrylate – hence no gels for me). I also have a quite pale complection, but with warm undertones, and I wear a lot of beige tones. This colour matches everything perfectly. Only issue is that I only bought one bottle, and then another one when I finished the first. But I didn't think of stocking up and now it is discontinued and impossible to be found. It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

Wow! Finally a kid-friendly nail Polish that actually goes on nicely and LASTS!! The colors are beautifully vibrant and I love that they all have a nice shimmer/sparkle to them. I used the top/base coat on my two kids (4 and 6 year olds) then alternated with the purple, green, and pink colors to their liking for both nails and toes. I really appreciate that that it doesn’t smell like chemicals! I don’t have to worry about my kids inhaling the fumes or putting their hands in their mouths (one of them likes to bite her nails). I loved the saturated color and it lasted for 2 weeks on my toes without chipping. I did experience some chipping on my fingernails after 5 days. I used Sally Hansen base and top coat with both toes and fingers. I usually use a soy based polish remover for removal all my polishes ((usually Sally Hansen, Opi and Essie). However, the polish wouldn’t come off with the soy polish remover. Luckily I had some acetone remover and was able to use that. Even with the acetone remover, it took me an hour to get the polish off my fingers! I didn’t bother trying to remove the polish off my toes. I went to a nail salon and they had to soak off the polish with acetone remover and file off the remnants of polish. They asked me if I was wearing gel polish. I had to show them the bottle. I won’t use this polish again. I get the same staying power with my regular polishes with the headache of removal.LadyCG

I was looking for a black nail polish and came across this brand online. I had never heard of the brand before, but I liked the colors, so I decided to order one on a whim. I ordered the color, Black Knight. It's black with a tiny bit of iridescent shimmer. I applied the nail polish as soon as I got it and I must say I am very pleased with the results. The polish goes on so evenly in just 3 or 4 strokes. It stays in place, it doesn't drip off the side of my nails. There is absolutely no odor, which is amazing! It dries quickly and looks great. I also love that it's cruelty free and doesn't contain any phthalates or parabens. I'm very pleased with this nail polish and I will definitely be ordering some of the other colors. I found this when looking for pregnancy friendly polish. Pleasantly surprised by how long this polish lasted. I used it together with the primer and top coat system. Put it to the test of household cleaning, gardening and lots of handy work for a week. It lasted a full week. Highly recommend it! I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner. For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! I absolutely love this top coat. I use it over Color Street Nails, but also for my daughter when she's painting her nails. It extends my manicure to 10 days, at least (I usually get sick of the color first and take it off). Dries very quick and gives a nice shiney coat. I don't usually need to reapply. Gives it a nice gel polish look and I get a ton of compliments all the time. Makes my nails feel much stronger. Definitely recommend. I do keep nail polish thinner though as sometimes it gets too thick in the bottle, so I add a few drops here and there.olena.t
I received this nail polish complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I read a description of this which called it a "Barbie pink" and was immediately like "ugh great, bright pink!" I'm generally not a fan of pinks, but this one grew on me! I applied two coats of Two Timing the Zones over the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, finishing it off with the OPI Top Coat. This polish bubbled, even after leaving 40+ minutes between coats, which was annoying! I ended up topping it with Essie's A Cut Above, which made already girly nails *even more* girly, and I actually liked it! This was again topped with another layer of the top coat. The polish chipped on my dominant hand within 3 days. Considering there's three layers on top, with the tips capped, that's pretty annoying! On my non-dominant hand, it chipped within 5. For me, it's not worth the price tag and I want far better longevity regardless of the price tag. It's around £15 in the UK, and I've got £1-2 Kiko polishes that perform better. I tried the BLACK 565 POWERSLIDE; stayed on for a week or longer, depending on how often you wash your hands or use clean products without gloves. I found this color at WAL-MART. How to apply to last; put on a Sally Hards As Nail color first, let dry. Then put on 2 coats of this bling. Let dry between coats. More sparkles; more coats. 2 coats is perfect. I bought this on sale, so I'm happy with the value. It definitely dries faster than most regular polishes, but, of course, it doesn't fully set for about a day or so. There is a bit of an unpleasant odour when applying, but that's minor. My major complaint is that they started chipping the day after I applied. They mostly lasted for like 3-4 days with minor chipping (with the addition of a quick-dry top coat, different brand). Took 3 coats for full coverage, so not great opacity, and very thick on the nail. I am very happy with the price, and love the colour Pink Blink! It's just what I've been looking for, and I will continue to wear it.ash30

Apart from the shine that one gets for the nail varnish, the product didn’t meet my expectations. This colour looks very brown on fair skin which darkens fair skin and not complement it. I was looking for a muted, nude kind of shade with a cream finish and I stumbled across Know the Espa-Drille and, let me tell you, it is the best nail polish I have ever had. It dries quite fast, last decently (2 days with my constant hand washing and the fact that I am allergic to acrylate – hence no gels for me). I also have a quite pale complection, but with warm undertones, and I wear a lot of beige tones. This colour matches everything perfectly. Only issue is that I only bought one bottle, and then another one when I finished the first. But I didn't think of stocking up and now it is discontinued and impossible to be found. The polish goes on so evenly in just 3 or 4 strokes. It stays in place, it doesn't drip off the side of my nails. There is absolutely no odor, which is amazing! It dries quickly and looks great. I found this when looking for pregnancy friendly polish. Pleasantly surprised by how long this polish lasted. I used it together with the primer and top coat system. Put it to the test of household cleaning, gardening and lots of handy work for a week. It lasted a full week. Highly recommend it! I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. This nail polish is what I’ve been looking for! Subtle and creamy this just looks expensive on and is definitely for that ballerina off duty aesthetic everyone’s into atm. I usually redo my nails weekly – this nail polish last for that time. It does chip after that but I don’t use a base or top coat. I just found this brand. I have tons of other polishes but through the years I've developed a sensitivity to wearing them because of the chemicals in them. So seeing this "natural" brand I decided to try it. I love these! I threw out all my old polishes. These are gentle on the skin, last a long time, and I use the avocado polish remover which is also gentle (not cheap though). The colors are saturated and don't streak – and the selection of colors is so nice. I've bought five colors so far and QVC thanks for the free shipping on them. I got the color Shooting Stars, a dark blue with glitter. Nail polish ALWAYS chips on me, usually the same day I apply it. This nail polish lasted 5 days before chipping!!!! Amazing! My nails feel stronger, which is a huge plus because I used after removing my acrylic nails. It is way worth the price and now I need the entire collection. The only con is that there is a limited selection in store, the rest can be found on their website. I'm a person who likes to see the product in person, especially with makeup or nail polish, but if it doesn't matter to you then it's no biggie.crystal.g
I used to go to salon to get my nails done so it is the first time in 10 years that i used nail polish to do my nails! I love the saturated colors and how fast it dries. I got three colors: Trust the Process, Kissin in the Rain, and When the Night Falls. I don’t think it can be applied alone perfectly. To have nice finish, a base coat and a top coat are necessary. This nail polish’s finish is not gloss enough. It is very easy to be removed without leaving stain (one big reason I avoid nail polishes for a long time) and i can even peel it off. It also doesn’t smells as strong as OPI. The brush is okay. I think it is a bit thick to apply my nails. I think I’ll get a thin flat brush next time I go to Ulta. It did chip a little bit after 3 days, but I assume it is because of my beginner skill.roseline.w
