I absolutely love the color! It's one of the most striking nail polishes I've ever used. However, I can't get it to stay on for more than 24 hours… I've tried it with a base coat and top coat (as well as without), I've tried two coats instead of three, and I always get the same result: it chips and peels off in less than a day. That's the only reason I didn't rate it higher. If I could figure out how to get it to stay on, it would be five stars for sure. 🙁Jill Z.
Nostalgia is absolutely gorgeous and I was really stunned by the staying power. I'm not super gentle with my hands but 2 coats lasted me a full week with minimal chipping. You definitely need at least 2 layers of polish for opacity's sake, 3 is preferred in my opinion. To my eye, the polish shifts from golden green to a grungy rose color that almost veers into maroon territory. Not a lot of copper, mostly rose. I could rave about ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) all day. If there’s a color out there that you love, they make it, and they make it RIGHT. 10-13 dollars seems steep for nail polish, but this shade is only one example of pure magic for the nails from this brand. Interstellar is perfectly named; it is a true multichrome, shifting from bright turquoise to almost forest-y teal to shades of cobalt and navy. The holographic glitters are nearly microscopic, allowing for both a smooth coat and also a galaxy of depth. The polish itself is easy to apply and doesn’t flood the nail bed with product. It also dries fairly quickly but still plays well with other brands for an even quicker drydown with topcoat. This color specifically is best with three thin coats and a topcoat. My only complaint is I wish it was available in stores or that the brand had its own stores. As it is, shipping is reasonable, incredibly fast (usually 2-3 days to ship from west to east coast), and products are well protected and packaged. I will absolutely purchase from the brand again and will purchase this color again when I’m running low.jaclyn.m

My regular nail salon uses these soak off gel polishes. They’re so worth it. I have my hands in hot water a lot everyday and there’s never any chipped polish. This stays on. When your nails grow, it looks like they need filled (which they do) but there’s no dip powder on my nails in the pic. I get a gel polish only manicure. This brand is highly recommendedangel.h

I bought this because the box claims it makes nail polish (at least OPI nail polish) last much longer before chipping ("up to 11 days of gel-like wear and shine", actually). I work with my hands and I feel the act of painting/doing my nails is way too time consuming, so it is very important to me that my nail polish stay put and stay unchipped for as long as possible. I used this kit exactly as directed, applying multiple coats of each bottle, used my OPI brand Infinite Shine Long-Wear nail polish (the recommended nail polish to use with this kit, I used the gorgeous, sexy red shade "An Affair in Red Square"), and let dry completely. My nail polish WAS very shiny and pretty when it was done. However, in one or two days my nails were already chipping. I really hate spending half an hour to an hour (natural drying takes forever) doing my nails only to have them get messed up after one or two days at work. So I just wear my nails completely bare basically all the time. I only use nail polish and do my nails maybe once every few months. So does this nail kit make your nail polish shiny and pretty? I suppose so, even though nail polish is shiny as-is. It does make your polish look more gel-like. Does this nail kit prevent chipping for "up to 11 days"? Well I suppose TECHNICALLY yes, it was "up to" 11 days… But *I wouldn't use or recommend this kit to prevent chipping of nail polish if you work with your hands.* It simply doesn't work well for that. I have yet to find anything that will make any nail polish last longer than a day or two without chipping, while I hold a job in which I constantly use my hands. So if you want gel-like nail polish, I recommend this kit, and you should get that gel-like result with any nail polish you use with it. I've used OPI products since I was a little girl. It's long been a favorite nail care brand of my mother's. She went through many years where she would only wear I'm not really a waitress, I still associate that color with that ideal woman we always wanted to be when we grew up. So, when I was offered to participate in this cashback campaign, even though I had never used any of the infinite shine products, I knew I would love it. It's even better than I thought!!! Alpine Snow is an old favorite color of mine but the blue color: To Be Continued is new to me. TBC is a beautiful light baby blue that is mesmerizing! It would work in literally every season and I do think it would be beautiful on most skin tones. The OPI formula has always been a winner. Incentivized for the Opi infinite shine campaign on #influenster through #Ulta.com . I was glad to find all the shades I was looking for through the Ulta.com app but had a hiccup with customer service I had never encountered before that got me a little ruffled. It was quickly shipped but with excessively poor packing that damaged the chrome paint on the bottles. Which I am fortunate was the only issue cause the way they packed it could easily have broken everything in it. To which I wrote CS and they did not seem to care. So I expect nothing will change. I am not real happy with the downside I have seen shipping and handling customer care from Ulta lately. Onto the actual polish. It’s a lovely shade of light pink with no nude/ brown town to it. Just above ballet slipper. Though it looked a little more watery than I prefer, it did not run at all and I had good control with each layer. I tried a thin on and a thicker one to check coverage. You can get good coverage with one layer done thickly. If that is your preference. Dry time isn’t to long, either. By the time you get through coat one, you may be ready to do coat two. The pros: streak and bubble free, easy to apply. \n\nCons: my color does not appear the same as advertised and isn't holographic.\n\nI've been buying many of the ilnp colors because they are just so beautiful. This color *is* pretty, don't get me wrong. I'm not sure if I got a wonky batch or what but it doesn't look like the pictures. Mine is a very flat almost seafoam green. Other people and the pictures advertising almost seem prismatic with a yellow effect but that is not in my bottle or on my nails whatsoever. \n\nLongevity has been kind of all over the place with this brand for me. I have a couple colors that are flawless for 5 days and up and others that are flaking by the end of day one. I will still get them because almost all of the colors have been gorgeous. I am harder on my nails and hands than most people. I also like polishes that are very low profile. And I am dark skinned. Hard to find a polish that meets all those needs and stays put as well. PROS: The color is gorgeous — it's the perfect highlighter yellow without being too green or too obnoxious. No white undies needed AND it doesn't dry matte! And the formula has that plasticized finish, where after it's dry, it doesn't chip. CONS: Upon first application, the formula was smooth and easy to work with. But as I kept painting, the formula just got harder and harder to manipulate. The more you dip in and out, the stickier and gloopier it gets, until you can hardly paint one good stroke without it being so thick that it won't dry or so thin that it drags the previous layer (this is also something I noticed with Synthetic Symphony to a milder degree). This kind of neon polish also requires careful top coating and maintenance. You can see every streak, smudge, and inconsistency. Overall, the painting experience and the aftercare was so laborious that this polish isn't worth it for me. I think you could augment the formula with some thinner and also roll the polish in between each stroke to help with consistency, but that's more work than I would like to put in.Cheny N.
Being a typical Celtic redhead I have very dry skin, hair and nails. My nails in particular break low down across the nail bed, snap off at the corners and flake from the free edge. They get especially dry after I use remover (always acetone-free), no matter which brand I use and I always have to apply nail oil and cuticle serum after removing varnish to prevent further dehydration. I've tried various nail treatments from Orly and other brands over the years, but with limited success. I've also tried not using strengthening treatments at all, and just applying oil and serum, but that hasn't made any long term difference either. When I saw the on-air presentation for this product I jumped at the chance to try it, as it's specifically targeted at dry nails. So….. I applied it for just 5 days Mon – Fri, as I like to wear colour on the weekend. When I removed it to do my manicure, I couldn't believe the difference in my nails: Every flake had been 'resealed', there wasn't a dry patch on my nails and they looked plumper, smoother, pinker and overall much healthier. Ive had extremely thin, brittle, dry fingernails for years and have tried just about every nail strengthening formula on the market, without seeing any improvement in the look or condition of my fingernails. I was therefore hesitant to spend money on yet another nail treatment, but having read consistently very good reviews of this one on various websites from people experiencing similar nail problems as myself, i thought I'd give it one final go at restoring my nails to a decent appearance and condition. Well, im so glad i did! Within a week of applying one coat daily to my nails, they felt and looked stronger. I continued this regime for another week as advised by the QVC Orly presenter for very problematic nails. A month later and my nails are now looking and feeling great! I'm going to continue regular use of this wonderful product and hope Orly never discontinue or reformulate it. Its also the only nail treatment or indeed, nail polish ive ever used which doesnt start peeling or cracking after my regular swimming sessions. So, its really helping to protect my nails from the damaging effects of chlorinated pool water too. Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own. Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. The formulation is on the thicker side which helps keep the glitter in tact. Add a quick dry top coat and you’re done! Highly recommend! If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! I always follow back but Influenster puts a limit on following at 500. This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I'm in the process of replacing all my existing polishes with Miracle Gel versions.LH

It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. Nope not at all saveable. Will never use this company nail polish again. I will just keep using opi. So disappointedLaurenak89
It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

I bought this last weekend and tried it this week, but the colour was really streaky and thin. I checked the website which says apply two coats and then allow to dry for 5 minutes. Not sure what I could've done wrong because I shook the bottle vigorously and allowed plenty of time between each coat, and it was as if the second coat of step 1 dissolved the first coat, and the brush was scraping back the last coat of colour when I applied the second coat of step 1. My natural nail was showing through the polish after a second coat. After I applied the top gel coat (step 2), it was still tacky the next day! The shine top coat also seemed to dissolve the pigment and drag it around as I brushed the top coat over the nail, so after the Step 2 coat it's left patches in my nails with no colour now. One of my nails weirdly turned out matte after I put the gloss coat on it. I have had much better results from cheap $2 brands but this was over $30 for the set of step 1 and 2 polishes, and it's so fussy and I can't do anything with my hands for hours after applying because it'll ruin the finish. Absolute ripoff. I want to return both polishes.Leesh

Love the idea of it and this colour is just gorgeous. However the brushes in this (maybe i got a dodgy one) but it left a lot of streaks and didn’t apply smoothly and did have a few straggler hairs which made a mess. Other than that the shape of the brush is great for around the cuticles. Not much product but I guess that’s the purpose for it to be travel friendly. I actually really like this and the colour is stunning in 2 coats (a little streaky because of the brush) I will keep buying and see if it’s a common thing but I really like it and they dry fast 2 coats polish 2 top coat 10 minutes fry time totalChels7777
I applied my first Miracle Gel, color 'Saturn it Up'. One week and absolutely no chips. It was even difficult to file with my Revlon file boards. My nails were destroyed 2 weeks ago when my Gel soak off polish would not come off after soaking my fingers for 15 minutes in acetone. I had to slowly peel them and then soak again to no avail. So with damaged and paper thin nails I tried the miracle. I did 3 coats but they were super thick. There was a little distortion under the top get. The top gel dried great but step one wasn't dry all the way. I'm going to do the process again even though I don't need to. I bought several other colors and have decided to give myself permission to change colors every week! I am thrilled after trying the gels. My nails can now grow out for several months and have some length and be beautiful. Now I just want to figure out how to do 'ombre' nails with this product.Betsy Bee
I bought rain-glow yesterday. I unwrapped the plastic, so I know it was brand new, and started to do step one. The first couple nails were challenging because the color seemed quite thick. It did not go on smooth. By the time I got to the third nail I realized there was something very wrong with the color and this was not going to go well. The color was mostly thick, chunky, and would not go on smooth. I tried out step two just to see if that side was also dried up, but that side was perfectly fine. I could rave about ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) all day. If there’s a color out there that you love, they make it, and they make it RIGHT. 10-13 dollars seems steep for nail polish, but this shade is only one example of pure magic for the nails from this brand. Interstellar is perfectly named; it is a true multichrome, shifting from bright turquoise to almost forest-y teal to shades of cobalt and navy. The holographic glitters are nearly microscopic, allowing for both a smooth coat and also a galaxy of depth. The polish itself is easy to apply and doesn’t flood the nail bed with product. It also dries fairly quickly but still plays well with other brands for an even quicker drydown with topcoat. This color specifically is best with three thin coats and a topcoat. My only complaint is I wish it was available in stores or that the brand had its own stores. As it is, shipping is reasonable, incredibly fast (usually 2-3 days to ship from west to east coast), and products are well protected and packaged. I will absolutely purchase from the brand again and will purchase this color again when I’m running low.jaclyn.m

This top coat will be the best you’ve ever used if you use it correctly. The first few times I tried it I was very disappointed with it. Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish. It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping. So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!sd
Love this from OPI! OPI has recently become my new fave brand when it comes to nails. The finishing base coat and top coat work emmensly and has the quickest drying time I’ve ever experienced! They’ve knocked all my other nail products out the park! I was super pleased with my application process. So many nail salons use the brand OPI and it has been featured in Hollywood movies! Defo give this brand a try girls! It’s totally worth it!jessica .h
I have been using this top coat on my nails for years and I love it because it leaves my nail polish so shiny. It's quite thick so you don't need much on the brush and I would recommend you do wipe the brush up the side of the bottle to remove some before you go in and apply it over your nail polish colour. Sometimes the brush does turn the same colour as the nail polish I'm applying it to but that doesn't effect the top coat at all. It also protects the edges of my nails from chipping too. The only thing that I don't particularly like is that it does take longer to dry that other brands I've used so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

I’m not much of a fan of gold nail polish until I saw this one. Gold with a strong linear holo finish that shimmers and shines with a rainbow effect. It is so pretty. The rainbows that dance around your nail in the sunlight is so gorgeous. This one takes 3 coats. But dries really fast. If your not much a gold fan I suggest you try this one out. Might just change your mind! Would definitely recommend.megan.m
As an aside, I'm someone who has been doing my own nails since I was 5 years old with my mother and am now in my early 40's having only had my nails done professionally 2x so I feel competent in this area have tried hundreds of colors and brands. This is one that's a definite fail in my experience with about 10 different shades (all lacquer I should note) and with their base top coats. I have found them to be very watery and difficult to apply without bleeding out over the nail line and hard to get an even no steak/ uneven application without extra effort compared to your average polish. Across the board, the colors I have had or do have in my collection separate much faster than the norm and are 10x more difficult to shake up often you cannot after a much shorter time period than average even while stored properly. That is not why I'm giving this a 1/5 though- the big reason is the very strong chemical smell that is overwhelming and a reminder of just how many toxic/ suspect ingredients are in most polishes- as much as I'd like to go completely clean with nail polish brands, I still can't resist a great gel, shade or effect and don't find it too difficult to try not to think about the toxicity of the color I'm using- with these there is no way around that in my experience. The reasons for the one star are: bold and vast variety of shades, high gloss potential probably the best thing has been how my experience with using this brand has nudged me even further in the direction to cleaner products like 💅🏼 for example which is a good thing I think!
Color club nail polish is my favorite line of nail polishes! The variety and quality is unbeatable! Their 'mood changing' nail polishes are some of my favorites, they're a big hit with my daughter too! The quality of their holographic nail polishes is unbelievable. The scented nail polish in shade 'Be Mine' is hands down my favorite shade of all time. I have two of them just in case. I'm a little obsessive with my nail polish collection in general but as you can see the second row down from the top of my display shelf is ALL Color Club nail polishes. Unfortunately only Wal-Mart seems to sell these wonderful nail polishes at this time (only brick and mortar store, that is, they are available online through Amazon and their website) so I will continue to build my collection by buying them there, one by one.natasha.p
