When I received this I was a bit concerned as it says nothing about nails (see photos) and the instructions needed some detail. I tried it anyway and it does a decent job and my nails look nice. This is the worst drill on the market for convenient nail drills. I waited patiently for this to come and when it did let me tell. Let’s point out the first fact that the cord isn’t as long as they describe at all, the Emory pieces are very weak and collapse from the slightest compression, the drill is so weak my 90yr old grandmother could use this with absolutely no harm. My vibrator has more power than this drill. It’s not worth the money at all and the marketing information is false for the product. Returned AGAIN and after 3 weeks received it back and they said it was a new handset but not a new base. Yep it did it again. Now they say it is out of warranty. I am so disappointed I will never buy anything from this company EVER!!! Waste of money and poor poor customer service.
First of all, I purchased a purple color and I received a white unit so Im giving it a 4 star. But testing the unit id say its very good! Attached some photos for reference. The unit itself is so lightweight and compact. I can take it anywhere and can easily fit in my tote bag. Great tool for investment for beginners and professionals alike. Cant wait to use on my clients nail. I just hope the motor will last a long time. Tried uploading a video but didnt work out. :Ckotick
Im a new, Covid DIY home manicurist.As with any skill theres a definite learning curve when doing our own nailsbut this e-file performs beautifully!!Watch a bunch of videos, keep your expectations reasonable, and with time youll be pleased with your results! Dont expect professional results on day 1, but patience and practice will get you there. Im 7 months in and still mastering filing with my non-dominant hand but videos help. Remember to turn off the unit before switching b/t forward and reverse and when packing up for next time. Overall an excellent e-file for the price, highly recommend!Kathy

This is a great buffing unit. It seems many other purchasers misunderstand the purpose of this item. It is for buffing, not for filing. Buffing is for making natural nails shine. Not for taking down the length of nails. The pads are a very fine grit, because they are for buffing. You won't be able to file nails with this unit (it is not designed for that purpose, it says nothing about filing on it's packaging, so I don't know why there is a misconception). Refills pads are available, and you will need them, as buffing pads do tend to wear after a few uses. To use it, you start with the heavier grit, and work your way to the finest grit (which seems super smooth). Results in really shiny nails without polish! The first time you use it, it's really awesome! You can use it with polish, too, to remove ridges, and make your nails really smooth and look salon like. Then the next time you use it, just be careful to only use it on new growth, so you don't make your nails too thin.
I was expecting better quality and results from this product as I've tried several other products from the Amope line and was satisfied. There are three different 'heads' to this tool, and I was expecting it to provide salon-quality and high-end results. The nail file was not particularly coarse enough to file nails well, and the buffing and shaping tools were pretty flimsy overall. The price for the quality/effectiveness of the product wasn't worth it in my opinion. Try at your own risk!parwinder.g
I got this product for free. If I hadn't gotten it in a care package, I wouldn't have used it. Upon reading reviews which were mostly negative , I was suddenly grateful I hadn't spent a cent on it but I still gave it a try. Each person experiences things differently. My experience with this item wasn't negative. It filed, buffed and shined my nails like it said in the packaging and my nails came out smooth. It does what it says it does although manually doing your nails might get better results. But overall, this product is pretty good in my opinion. And I must emphasize that the main function of the product isn't just to FILE your nails. If your searching for a product that mainly files your nails then this isn't the product for you.sherry.g

So, this is not brand new from the manufacturer. Im disappointed but still going to try it and see how it works. It doesnt have the second switch for the Variable/High speed, although pictured in the images. I paid clearly less then from the manufacturer, so I guess you get what you pay for. Apparently there seems to be two types of these on the market :one with higher definition and more options as is advertised here and one with lower picture /video definition and less menu options that I received. However I notified the seller and he did refund me five dollars. So all in all its a stellar deal. Also, the battery fully charged was only good for one to five minutes depending on what I was doing, filming or browsing the menu. But, I ordered a better battery (higher MAH) online for cheap from another ebay seller from China. Might be pretty decent if the battery ever gets here. Over 20 days and still waiting for it now. I will still order another higher definition unit so I can get more accurate video of goings on at greater distances , but this one was worth the price after all.knightowlecks0
Everyone is commenting about the drill bits but I watched a Youtuber review the item and it worked good. No, it may not have came with instructions but the youtuber figured it out. You're suppose to unscrew the metal part a good amount, then pop the piece in and screw it back together. Y'all could've asked for help instead of just degrading the product.Zaria
This item arrived ahead of schedule. I thought it would be sub-par since it is so small, but I was gratefully surprised. The variable speed and reverse polarity make this item ideal for all types of nails. The speed varies from a dead stop to around 18,000 rpm, which is great for natural nails to acrylic. Great e-file! Works beautifully! Cutting my file time in half and saving my wrist from some suffering. Using the included bits to smooth my own enhancements. The shanks of the included bits are not consistent and some are too big to fit the receptacle. Purchased additional carbide bits for product removal. Nail art pieces are bonus fun. I am not a professional so I can not comment about performance under pressure of multiple daily clients.cammy80
