The nail polish is nice. applies easily and dries a bit faster than other brands. during the first few hours it'll get scratches or texture until it's 100% set. (it was completely dry when I went to sleep, passed the fingerprint test, but had random scratches the next morning). after it dried it became seemingly indestructible. I work in a warehouse, I use tools and have my hands in machines all day and it didn't chip at all. (I used 3 coats) however i had another shade that chipped and budged just from washing dishes and playing with a one year old. in any other case I'd say its way too expensive to risk getting a shade that has a 50/50 chance of chipping easily, but target has a good return policyM
I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! Essie has great new limited edition fall colors just in time for "swetta weatha" and I'm really feeling them. I have Feelin' Amped, High Voltage Vinyl and Off the Record. My two favorites are Feelin' Amped and High Voltage Vinyl. Feelin' Amped is an intense but unique blue that reminds of a mix between cobalt blue and peacock blue. You only need one coat of polish since the polish covers very well and has a really smooth, shiny finish. This color would also look amazing if you added a mattifying powder to it as well. High Voltage Vinyl is a gorgeous onyx base with gold. I didn't like it very much at first because I was probably still in summer mode, but now that it's fall, this color would go perfectly with a pair of black jeans and a black leather jacket. It's an interesting color since it takes on olive green tint in some lights, but in the sun, you can definitely see the beautiful gold tones. Off the Record is your classic, elegant wine color. It goes well with any outfit and any skin tone…You can't go wrong with a nice merlot color…it's perfect for this season and the next!Lovely1

I may be late to the OPI Mexico City Collection's Spring 2020 release, but at least I finally found that rad yellow creme! With my pale, pink-toned skin, finding a yellow that is saturated without leaning too dark, pastel, or neon — AND has a 3-coat (or less) formula — is a real challenge. I got my hands on this color after stumbling into an Amazon sale (the "Buy at least $20 worth of these selected items, get $5 off" kind? It was the first time I tried it out!) where a few of the OPI Mexico City colors were included. I had heard about this color for a while, and watched nail polish swatchers on YouTube include it in their side-by-side yellow polish comparisons every season, but I could never find it in-stock at a reasonable shipping rate until that sale. Score! As you can see from my photo, it's a slightly lighter yellow, but it works like a standard yellow on my fair skin when compared to darker shades. It pops in just the right way! Plus, its formula is 3 coats maximum for full opacity, which is hard to achieve with yellow polish at any price point. (Don't you hate it when a color of polish is sold as the brand's "standard primary color," only to find out it takes 4 or 5 streaky coats to achieve that color? So many polish brands do that with yellow and white, even at the salon level. No, thank you!) First off, the item I was given to try seems to be different from the item I'm left to review on here. Pictures of the actual product have been provided. Anywho, mine is a gold cream product that dries fast and actually leaves my nails shiny and cuticles moisturized like it promised! I totally wasn't expecting it to perform well, but I'm glad it did. The fast drying made it convenient for me to do my homework on my laptop. It peels off easily too. It has a fresh, floral, almost powder-like smell, but it's light and not overwhelming at all. The sponge tip allows for the cream to be buffed out which I liked because the alternative would've been to use my fingertips which would've made a mess. My cuticles have been dry and my gel nail polish on my thumb has gotten dinged up so it's lost a lot of its shine. After taking off the mask, my cuticles are moisturized with less cracks. The polish on my nail got some of its shine back without ruining the polish too which I'm stoked about. I recommend this product to touch up your cuticles and old polish. It makes for a fun little bonus to your spa day! I never knew nail masks existed, but I'm glad to know now through this free product to test.
This review is for Sally Hansen Revive Peel off Nail Mask. I’ve never used a nail mask before. The smell is a lovely coconut scent similar to the Colourpop SOL body highlighters. It smells like a coconutty sun screen and summer goodness. The applicator is very nice as well, it reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury highlighter/contour products that come out of a spongey applicator tip. The product itself is even shimmery gold like a beautiful facial cosmetic product would be, but this is just for your finger tips and nails! I do my nails entirely at home these days, and sometimes my cuticles give it away. I noticed they looked a lot more calm, flush against my fingertips/nails, like healthy hydrated cuticles should look. The only complaints: I don’t think my sample contains the hyaluronic acid it boasts elsewhere (I’ve read and reread the ingredients list of the product I was sent and compared it to the ingredients list online), and mine wouldn’t peel off very easily. The instructions say to apply a “small amount” and “thin layer” to each nail/finger tip/cuticle, but that’s too subjective. I applied too thin and it wouldn’t peel off my nail. I got better results from applying enough product to reach the gold pigmentation of the product’s opacity, then it peeled off easier. Either way, you can just rinse it off, too. I rarely write reviews but I have to say this is my absolute new favorite nail polish! I thought that it being natural would result in less durability but I was a soap wrong. Regular nail polish lasts me about a week at the most. With the Sally Hansen natural mail strengthener underneath, two coats of this polish and a quick-drying top coat from another brand, this has lasted a week and a half now and doesn’t show any sign of chipping. I could rave about ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) all day. If there’s a color out there that you love, they make it, and they make it RIGHT. 10-13 dollars seems steep for nail polish, but this shade is only one example of pure magic for the nails from this brand. Interstellar is perfectly named; it is a true multichrome, shifting from bright turquoise to almost forest-y teal to shades of cobalt and navy. The holographic glitters are nearly microscopic, allowing for both a smooth coat and also a galaxy of depth. The polish itself is easy to apply and doesn’t flood the nail bed with product. It also dries fairly quickly but still plays well with other brands for an even quicker drydown with topcoat. This color specifically is best with three thin coats and a topcoat. My only complaint is I wish it was available in stores or that the brand had its own stores. As it is, shipping is reasonable, incredibly fast (usually 2-3 days to ship from west to east coast), and products are well protected and packaged. I will absolutely purchase from the brand again and will purchase this color again when I’m running low.jaclyn.m

this was only my second time using gel polish, and i’ll never use another brand. opi’s gel polish is lightweight and apply easily like their normal polishes which is amazing compared to the very thick gel i’ve tried previously. this specific color is a little bit sheer which is to be expected with sparkly shades. the color payoff is gorgeous and it lasted well. it didn’t start chipping until right around the 1 1/2 week mark but it was very minimal. the gel soaked off SO easily. i soaked for 15 mins in acetone and most of the polish on each nail came off in one layer and minimal scraping had to be done. my nails were still flexible with this gel (which i prefer) and not rock hard like they would be with some other gel brands. i can’t wait to buy more colors of this gel!!carissa b.

You literally can’t go wrong using this brand and top coat. It is pricey for $13 on one bottle but if you know how to use it wisely and not over apply the top coat, then it can last a long time for you. Just don’t store your polish near direct sunlight or heat. It needs to be stored in a cool place and preferably in dark place so polish doesn’t dry out. This helps my nail polish last 3 weeks, before you start to see chipping. I will keep buying this brand. I bought it as a bundle that saves you about $4 ($22.50 for base top) otherwise you’re paying for 1 at $13 each. You need both to help keep your nails looking like it was done at the nail salon. I bought "The Pass Is Always Greener" a gorgeous pastel green! Typically the Infinite Shine polishes are very forgiving & self leveling depending on the shade you get, however this one was not. I found this polish had to be floated delicately over the nail plate vs how you typically apply it because it will gum up quickly and it will streak very badly which a second coat will not cover up well. Even with floating the polish, there is still something to be desired with the way this polish applies because it is just streaky in general. Disappointing because I love the color but it will probably just go on my toes so no one can see the flaws.Sarah

The nail polish is nice. applies easily and dries a bit faster than other brands. during the first few hours it'll get scratches or texture until it's 100% set. (it was completely dry when I went to sleep, passed the fingerprint test, but had random scratches the next morning). after it dried it became seemingly indestructible. I work in a warehouse, I use tools and have my hands in machines all day and it didn't chip at all. (I used 3 coats) however i had another shade that chipped and budged just from washing dishes and playing with a one year old. in any other case I'd say its way too expensive to risk getting a shade that has a 50/50 chance of chipping easily, but target has a good return policyM
I purchased both the 'bolt and be bold' and 'dial it up' 2 weeks ago. Finally had time to paint my toe nails and I'm pretty disappointed in the quality. First, both brushes are put on unevenly, and it either collects too much polish or not enough. The first swipe and it was all over the place. I'm not a professional nail artist, but I'm not a newbie. It looks like a small child slapped it on. The uneven brush makes it impossible to control. To spend $20 on nail polish is a luxury, and I expected way better quality. I’m reviewing this year’s 2021 summer collection and it’s pretty fantastic!!! They have some really on point colors- like a basic, vibrant blue, orange and green. Im not super wild about the yellow; it is a bit muted compared to the other colors. The pink has a pearlescence which isn’t what I prefer but it’s nonetheless beautiful. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE IS “GET YOUR GROOVE ON”!!! It has the most unbelievably gorgeous gold shimmer. It is opaque and slightly more on the yellow side. I looks so rad again my melanin-blessed skin!! I love this color! I always love a nice deep red nail color and Elderberry was exactly what I was looking for. Ever since I tried this brand about a year ago I have thrown out my cheaper, short lasting drugstore nail polish and replaced them with different colors of Londontown. I can typically get my nail color to last a week on my fingernails whereas my old polishes would usually last 2-3 days before they started chipping badly. I am hard on my nails doing a lot of housework, dishes, washing cars, etc. but this nail polish lasts through it. It also seems to strengthen my nails when I wear it regularly. I received Invisible Crown as a gift along with Cheerio. I'm generally not a sheer polish lover. I also don't usually gravitate towards pale pink tones. This company excels at sheers. Creams are a little less reliable. I'm buying the rest of the sheers so I have them all. They're THAT good. This one has more color than teatime. It's a bit more mauve/brown than pink. Same flawless coverage. 100 percent streak free with one coat. Goes on like no other polish I've used. Creamy in application, and color. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. I read a description of this which called it a "Barbie pink" and was immediately like "ugh great, bright pink!" I'm generally not a fan of pinks, but this one grew on me! I applied two coats of Two Timing the Zones over the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, finishing it off with the OPI Top Coat. This polish bubbled, even after leaving 40+ minutes between coats, which was annoying! I ended up topping it with Essie's A Cut Above, which made already girly nails *even more* girly, and I actually liked it! This was again topped with another layer of the top coat. The polish chipped on my dominant hand within 3 days. Considering there's three layers on top, with the tips capped, that's pretty annoying! On my non-dominant hand, it chipped within 5. For me, it's not worth the price tag and I want far better longevity regardless of the price tag. It's around £15 in the UK, and I've got £1-2 Kiko polishes that perform better. When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. I used good nail prep, a base coat, two coats of pure, and a top coat. I have been adding a top coat daily to try to get longer wear. I am on day 5 without any chips. My tips on my dominant hand are worn off but otherwise it is in great shape. It barely shows. It makes my nails look clean versus having a noticeable color. When I compared my painted and unpainted hand it was definitely noticeable.Me42
This nail polish is good when it's brand new but after having it even for a month or two, the quality is horrible. It's clumpy and impossible to apply smoothly. I don't think it's worth the money if you have to use it all right away. I don't have this same issue with other "17 free" polishes so I don't think it has anything to do with how it's stored. Certain colors in this brand are hard to get off as well, they stain and make a mess. I wouldn't buy this brand again.Yellowbirdmom
I bought this because I’m pregnant and trying to avoid all of the harmful chemicals I can. This polish is free from the 17 harmful chemicals found in all other types of polish, so I wasn’t expecting it to work very well. However, this might be the best nail polish I’ve ever used! It glides on perfectly, I only needed one coat, it dries fairly quickly and I didn’t notice a single chip until about a week later. This is my new favorite and even when no longer pregnant, I will continue to only buy this polish.Libby

My new nail technician suggested this shade for me. This helped to create the sophisticated well groomed look I wanted. The only thing I would change is that because I have very pale warm ivory skin with yellow to gold undertones, I would like a very similar polish with a warmer more beige tone instead of the admittedly feminine delicate slightly blueish pink that would be a better match for cool undertoned skin. I've been wearing this color for nearly 20 years! I can buy the regular polish at Walmart and it's the correct color. However when I bought the GEL POLISH here, the bottle says "I'm not really a waitress", but it's not the correct color. It looks like a cream, not the metallic-like color it should be. Ever since nail salons shut down in 2020, NONE of them are able to get this color (or so they claim) in a GEL POLISH. Extremely disappointed. Spent $22 having this IMPOSTER shipped to me. Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner. For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! The pictures show two coats of polish but do not depict how bright the color really is. 8-14-21 UPDATE: The more I use Rosy Future the more I like it. I have been using it for 2 years now.
