(it was completely dry when I went to sleep, passed the fingerprint test, but had random scratches the next morning). after it dried it became seemingly indestructible. My two favorites are Feelin' Amped and High Voltage Vinyl. Feelin' Amped is an intense but unique blue that reminds of a mix between cobalt blue and peacock blue. You only need one coat of polish since the polish covers very well and has a really smooth, shiny finish. This color would also look amazing if you added a mattifying powder to it as well. High Voltage Vinyl is a gorgeous onyx base with gold. I didn't like it very much at first because I was probably still in summer mode, but now that it's fall, this color would go perfectly with a pair of black jeans and a black leather jacket. It's an interesting color since it takes on olive green tint in some lights, but in the sun, you can definitely see the beautiful gold tones. Off the Record is your classic, elegant wine color. However, I can't get it to stay on for more than 24 hours… I've tried it with a base coat and top coat (as well as without), I've tried two coats instead of three, and I always get the same result: it chips and peels off in less than a day. You definitely need at least 2 layers of polish for opacity's sake, 3 is preferred in my opinion. I really like the pale pink shade. The shade, called Sweet Surrender, is soft and feminine. I love the brand: the nail polishes are always glossy and easy to apply. The reason I took away 1 star was because after 2 coats, the color was still weak and I needed to apply 3 coats to have the color really show. The Sally’s employee told me Morgan Taylor polishes provided a gel like effect and were better than OPI – so I bought two shades plus the top coat. First time, nails were cleaned, top coat applied, air dried and one nail cracked and peeled on the first day. Second time, nails were lightly buffed/filed (mid nail bed to the free tip), polish applied, left to air dry and lasted about 3-4 days until I had tiny cracks way on the end of the free tips. Plus this was surprising after doing many chores. Fabulous colour – great polish. I was pleased to find this on line. I had gel nail polish applied in a salon in the same colour which lasted well .I wanted to go over it to colour in the nail bed growth until my appointment to have the gel removed and re done next week end. The only reason this gel polish doesn't get a 5 star is because it is an absolute pain to get off. I can soak it and soak it for what seems like hours and I still have to file it off or scrape with an orange stick. The colours are beautiful, it is easy to apply for a beginner and it doesnt pool at the edges of your nail. I love this color! I always love a nice deep red nail color and Elderberry was exactly what I was looking for. Ever since I tried this brand about a year ago I have thrown out my cheaper, short lasting drugstore nail polish and replaced them with different colors of Londontown. I can typically get my nail color to last a week on my fingernails whereas my old polishes would usually last 2-3 days before they started chipping badly. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. I use a variety of Salley Hansen products, loyally have experienced nothing but good quality. I bought this nail art pen in the hopes that using would make my smile lines for french manicures I wear to work crisp on point. The first few uses were just okay, the color wasn't quite as opaque as I hoped so I had to go over my lines 2 or 3 times. Then the consistency changed, I don't know if it was because it was beginning to dry out but the polish started looking like I was trying to do my nails using white out. I then began to find small particles of dried polish throughout anything I tried to draw. It then completely clumped up wouldn't even come out of the pen at all. This was after maybe 6 or 7 uses. I ended up throwing it away. Maybe just a bad batch? It worked just fine for the 1st 2 or 3 times. I don't think I would repurchase this particular product againjessica.l
This color is really nice. I LOVE IT! If you like sparkles, use this color with INSTA-DRY 258 SHOOTING STAR on top of it. You can use any color of XTREME WEAR and add Bling. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves. I LOVE this polish! I bought the Disco Ball color, which is clear with holographic glitter in it. My picture does NOT do it justice at all! The 3 pink fingernails have this polish on them and they are gorgeous! The polish dries pretty quickly. I usually don't like using polish because I always make a mess of it and get smudges, etc. But this is a nice overlay over nail strips that I have. It applies smoothly and easily. I put a gel top coat over it so it has lasted over a week and still looks like it does in the picture. At a little over $2 I think this is a great value to make your mainicures POP! I have not tried to remove it yet, but using those clips that go over your nails with remover on cotton pads and leaving it on for about 5 minutes or so, should easily remove it, even though it's glitter.JustRambling

Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own. Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. The formulation is on the thicker side which helps keep the glitter in tact. Add a quick dry top coat and you’re done! Highly recommend! If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I'm in the process of replacing all my existing polishes with Miracle Gel versions.LH

Hey! I stopped painting my nails many many years ago. I recently was at home alot when family had covid, and there isnt really much to do after cleaning your house, garage, yard and doing laundry. I bought the shade Sky-fi and it is a beautiful color. Does indeed have a very foiled finish. It is a tricky formula to work with though. Because it's so foiled, you have to be mindful of streaks in your brushstrokes, but the formula starts drying so quickly that it can get glumpy if you keep going over the nail trying even out the polish. That was a little frustrating. But overall a pretty color and had a nice finish. I think it might take practice to get it to look perfect.Abbey
I was very excited to purchase this. I love Sally Hansen nail products and use a variety of them with no problems. I followed the directions on the back of the bottle that says it works best with "no base or top coat" so that is what I did. My fingernails had been cleaned of old polish with acetone remover and then washed with soap and water. I applied the first coat and waited over an hour then went to bed. The next morning I applied the second coat and by mid day every finger nail had chipping. All I did today was some minor grocery shopping and normal washing of hands. I went ahead and repainted them before taking a picture. I will continue to use this until it's gone because I love the color & finish but won't purchase anymore. Maybe good for someone who doesn't do a lot with their hands? Highly disappointed.Christina

So I have an obsession for glitter like true obsession! Love everything that has glitter. When L’Oreal launched few glitter nail coats I always wanted to try the golden one as it adds an extra charm to ur nails and make them look happy and bright. So this one comes with chunks of glitter and mind u the glitter looks really pretty when worn single or on any matte shade. It makes my nails look like disco ball which I love! I usually wear double coats being a glitter lover. My advice would be to place the glitter rather than dragging it as u would get little amounts when dragged. The maximum life span would be I say 3-4 days after that it may start chipping off. My personal favourite would be over a black or red nail paint. They are quite affordable and widely available. L'Oréal, L'Oréal, L'Oréal…. you bloody legend. Thank you. I was given four of your beautiful shades as a gift and it is by far the best nail polish I have ever used. I have a thousand bottles of every other nail polish brand in existence but I never had I had such an effortless and long lasting experience. My first impression was that bottles are really cute, with all your vibrant colours and gold lids. The 5ml bottle is smaller then other brands but will give me an opportunity to try all of your gorgeous shades. I applied Perle De Jade first and as a girl who typically only wore reds and pinks I feel liberated. This gorgeous Tiffany blue colour looks amazing on my hands and has a perfect gloss finish. I applied two thin coats without use of a base or top coat, and found that the polish was so easy to apply. It was a great consistency and glided on effortlessly with the large brush (Even my right hand had perfect application- that never happens to me). The colour is very pigmented and rich, with a great gloss after drying. The polish dried really quickly so I could be back to business straight afterwards. Because it dried quickly I had no issues with smudging or ruining my manicure (which happens to me most times I use other polishes). Two thin coats without the use of a top coat has lasted me over a week without any chipping , peeling, flaking or going dull and i haven't had to do any touch ups. I have since gone and applied a beautiful coat of Scarlett Vamp which is a gorgeous deep red on my toes and had another effortless application. Overall, L'Oréal has become my new favourite nail polish brand and I am going to race of to the shop to purchase these in every shade (as well as a top coat). L'Oréal nail polish is one of my favorite products in this brand. I have several colors and I really really love them. They are very pigmented and never patchy. they take a bit of time to dry but it's worth the pay off at the end of it all. this is my preferred brand to take to the nail salon for my session. they have a nice color selection. It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

I’m not much of a fan of gold nail polish until I saw this one. Gold with a strong linear holo finish that shimmers and shines with a rainbow effect. It is so pretty. The rainbows that dance around your nail in the sunlight is so gorgeous. This one takes 3 coats. But dries really fast. If your not much a gold fan I suggest you try this one out. As an aside, I'm someone who has been doing my own nails since I was 5 years old with my mother and am now in my early 40's having only had my nails done professionally 2x so I feel competent in this area have tried hundreds of colors and brands. This is one that's a definite fail in my experience with about 10 different shades (all lacquer I should note) and with their base top coats. I have found them to be very watery and difficult to apply without bleeding out over the nail line and hard to get an even no steak/ uneven application without extra effort compared to your average polish. Across the board, the colors I have had or do have in my collection separate much faster than the norm and are 10x more difficult to shake up often you cannot after a much shorter time period than average even while stored properly. That is not why I'm giving this a 1/5 though- the big reason is the very strong chemical smell that is overwhelming and a reminder of just how many toxic/ suspect ingredients are in most polishes- as much as I'd like to go completely clean with nail polish brands, I still can't resist a great gel, shade or effect and don't find it too difficult to try not to think about the toxicity of the color I'm using- with these there is no way around that in my experience. The reasons for the one star are: bold and vast variety of shades, high gloss potential probably the best thing has been how my experience with using this brand has nudged me even further in the direction to cleaner products like 💅🏼 for example which is a good thing I think!
Color club nail polish is my favorite line of nail polishes! The variety and quality is unbeatable! Their 'mood changing' nail polishes are some of my favorites, they're a big hit with my daughter too! The quality of their holographic nail polishes is unbelievable. The scented nail polish in shade 'Be Mine' is hands down my favorite shade of all time. I have two of them just in case. I'm a little obsessive with my nail polish collection in general but as you can see the second row down from the top of my display shelf is ALL Color Club nail polishes. Unfortunately only Wal-Mart seems to sell these wonderful nail polishes at this time (only brick and mortar store, that is, they are available online through Amazon and their website) so I will continue to build my collection by buying them there, one by one.natasha.p
