I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. This product is definitely effective! I used it to help me stop biting my nails. It tastes horrible- like bitter acidic soap. I definitely did not want to put my fingers in my mouth and if I accidentally did I would know it for a good 15 minutes after. It does have a rather glossy finish which I like because it gives a clean polished look but might not be everyone’s cup of tea. My one negative is that the cap gathered a lot of product inside of it and eventually became dried out and stuck shut. I had to use hot water to loosen it up enough to open.liv.p

I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I’m really picky when it comes to mascara just because of my small short Asian lash hair. I have used Nail Tek products for about 20 years, as their nail treatment/therapy products have worked wonders for me. My nail used to never grow. I began using Nail Tek, #2 with the cuticle/nail oil when preparing for my wedding in hopes to grow my own nails. It took 3 layers to apply a smooth and finished look. I will say it dried fast and I was rather surprised by that for liquid or polish. I however was not a fan of this color. It really just didn’t look good with my skin tone. Maybe in the summer when I’m tan? But it’s a no for me right now. The actual polish itself held up as to be expected for any nail polish. 2-3 days before I had noticeable chipping. Smell was still the same as typical polish smell, I’m not sure if I thought it would be different because it’s Vegan? All around the polish isn’t terrible. I received the shades 345 Smokey Quartz and 410 Black Stone which are beautiful colors. The purple is light but has a grayish tint to it and shines really pretty and the black is a deep black and gives off a beautiful shine. The polish itself gives off a great color and smooth look but with one coat is just too thin, I did at least two coats to create a good layer and look. This polish is a very runny formula in my opinion so took some patience not to make a mess with it and drying time isn’t too long but the the turn out is pretty good and last a good few days before it starts to chip off. Wow! Finally a kid-friendly nail Polish that actually goes on nicely and LASTS!! The colors are beautifully vibrant and I love that they all have a nice shimmer/sparkle to them. I used the top/base coat on my two kids (4 and 6 year olds) then alternated with the purple, green, and pink colors to their liking for both nails and toes. I really appreciate that that it doesn’t smell like chemicals! I don’t have to worry about my kids inhaling the fumes or putting their hands in their mouths (one of them likes to bite her nails). I loved the saturated color and it lasted for 2 weeks on my toes without chipping. I did experience some chipping on my fingernails after 5 days. I used Sally Hansen base and top coat with both toes and fingers. I usually use a soy based polish remover for removal all my polishes ((usually Sally Hansen, Opi and Essie). However, the polish wouldn’t come off with the soy polish remover. Luckily I had some acetone remover and was able to use that. Even with the acetone remover, it took me an hour to get the polish off my fingers! I didn’t bother trying to remove the polish off my toes. I went to a nail salon and they had to soak off the polish with acetone remover and file off the remnants of polish. They asked me if I was wearing gel polish. I had to show them the bottle. I won’t use this polish again. I get the same staying power with my regular polishes with the headache of removal.LadyCG

Wow! This stuff works. My three year old daughter has been sucking her index and middle fingers since she was very little. I can see that her front teeth are moving forward and she talks with a lisp. I knew I had to do something because I knew if I didn't kick the habit now she could suck her fingers after her other set of teeth come in, and since I can't take her fingers away I didn't want her to have an overbite. I figured for $3 I’d give it a try, this stuff has a very bad taste which is good cause after just 1 week of wearing it i dont even want to put my fingers anywhere near my mouth anymore! The only con is that the taste DEFINITELY tranfers. Like I’d touch my lip and if i licked my lips i could taste it. Or if i ate doritoes and i went to lick the seasoning from my fingers i could taste it. And it tastes awful and lingers in your mouth almost makes me wanna throw up but it definitely did the job of stopping me from biting my nails! Got it for my 2 year old he was sucking his thumb so excessive he was actually cutting through his skin I had to make him stop so I looked into this anti bitting polish. first time I applied I didn't realize how strong it was my son actually threw up! after I tried it I could see why, best way to describe, it's like bitting into an onion. This is my go to nail growth, strengthener polish. When I use it my nails are harder to break and they grow like crazy! It's easy to add polish over as well. We also discovered that it shows up under a black light. I have recommended it to every one. If you are having issue with your nails getting weak and breaking, give this a shot. The smell is like most nail polishes and can be strong but it dries super fast. It's worth the search for it. I have found it at grocery outlet, Walmart, Walgreens, Dollar general had it once. I love this color! I always love a nice deep red nail color and Elderberry was exactly what I was looking for. Ever since I tried this brand about a year ago I have thrown out my cheaper, short lasting drugstore nail polish and replaced them with different colors of Londontown. I can typically get my nail color to last a week on my fingernails whereas my old polishes would usually last 2-3 days before they started chipping badly. I am hard on my nails doing a lot of housework, dishes, washing cars, etc. but this nail polish lasts through it. It also seems to strengthen my nails when I wear it regularly. I received Invisible Crown as a gift along with Cheerio. I'm generally not a sheer polish lover. I also don't usually gravitate towards pale pink tones. This company excels at sheers. Creams are a little less reliable. I'm buying the rest of the sheers so I have them all. They're THAT good. This one has more color than teatime. It's a bit more mauve/brown than pink. Same flawless coverage. 100 percent streak free with one coat. Goes on like no other polish I've used. Creamy in application, and color. It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

Apart from the shine that one gets for the nail varnish, the product didn’t meet my expectations. This colour looks very brown on fair skin which darkens fair skin and not complement it. I love this stuff! I’ve always been a nail biter, I decided during covid I would try and break the habit and I succeeded! It tastes bad, and it makes me aware that my fingers are in my mouth. I used to bite all of my nails off and not even realize what I had done until it was too late. I’ve gone three months straight without biting and have actually been having to trim my nails for the first time in my life. You do have to reapply every few days or so but it doesn’t bother may because it seriously dries almost immediately. If I could give this 10 stars, I would! My husband and my son are both nail biters we found this and began using it right away. Within a week my husband’s cuticles were all healed and healthy. This is a neutral review. I think it’s wrong to blame la product like this if you don’t successfully stop biting ur nails after using this. This isn’t the real problem. Truly take the time to ask yourself why you are biting your nails in the first place. I used to tell myself, “idk, out of boredom probably.” Which actually meant, “I might have an idea but I’m genuinely unsure and avoiding wanting to find out bc it could be an issue I’m not ready to face or deal with right now.” It’s a bad habit you formed yourself over time.. something that started off harmless then progressively got worse until you realize it’s a problem. Mind over matter— especially when they’re self-soothing bad habits. You either consciously or subconsciously, but nonetheless still trained yourself into doing it, which means you can absolutely train yourself to reverse/stop the habit. I’ve never had nails so long in my life. I’ve always had a problem with nail biting. Anyway I never leaves reviews but it absolutely worked for me. This product is definitely effective! I used it to help me stop biting my nails. It tastes horrible- like bitter acidic soap. I definitely did not want to put my fingers in my mouth and if I accidentally did I would know it for a good 15 minutes after. It does have a rather glossy finish which I like because it gives a clean polished look but might not be everyone’s cup of tea. This is fine to prevent nail biting, not so good if you are eating food with your hands, say a sandwich, it taints everything with a bitterness. This product is definitely effective! I used it to help me stop biting my nails. It tastes horrible- like bitter acidic soap. I definitely did not want to put my fingers in my mouth and if I accidentally did I would know it for a good 15 minutes after. It does have a rather glossy finish which I like because it gives a clean polished look but might not be everyone’s cup of tea. My one negative is that the cap gathered a lot of product inside of it and eventually became dried out and stuck shut. I had to use hot water to loosen it up enough to open.liv.p
My son sucks his thumb so bad that we have spent 4000$ on appliances because of the damage he's done to his teeth. Our next step is braces but because the habit is so bad they refuse until he stops sucking his thumb. I got this product to try I mean 12 bucks is not to bad. Wow has this stuff helped he can't stand the taste. As long as it's on he will not get his thumb anywhere close to his mouth. I highly recommend!TALISA
Bought this for my son to assist him with his lack of willpower to stop biting his nails. I am told it has an incredibly bitter taste. This is fine to prevent nail biting, not so good if you are eating food with your hands, say a sandwich, it taints everything with a bitterness. Depending on what you are doing manually, it can become sticky and rub off. The bottle and lid become sticky after a few uses and then hardens, making it impossible to open and continue using. Far too expensive, shouldn't cost more than a fiver.spcsgord
