Yes it’s expensive but its really worth every penny. Right after putting it on you instantly feel relief and about a week or so after putting it on daily your nail looks and feels so much healthier!! Unbelievable product for two reasons:(1) Healthy eponychium (often mistakenly referred to as the cuticle – the ridge of skin around your nails.) Mine were ragged, and horribly over-grown. I didn't want to keep cutting them because it apparently just keeps them growing more and more. Mine were so unsightly I was embarrassed to ever have my hands show. I had a manicure in March and the technician was very kind, but dismayed at how much skin there was to trim. There was a huge pile of it! I don't have the time or money for regular trips to the salon to have them trimmed and trimming them was exacerbating the problem (from what I later learned.) I did a lot of research online on what to do. Several sources recommended CND Solar Oil used several times a day. I've been using it 7-14 times a week for three months and my hands don't even look like mine. The overgrown "hedges" around my nails have totally disappeared as has and peeling skin or hangnails. I had a manicure recently and there wasn't even anything for them to trim! I hardly recognize them! For this reason alone I would give it as many stars as possible I love showing off my hands!!(2) Nail strength. I didn't realize when I bought this that it would help strengthen my nails. I love this nail strengthener! I have had weak thin nails all my life and tried other products that just turned my nails yellow. This is the real deal! My nails are stronger and don't split. The polish dries quickly and leaves a pretty shine. You do need to add another coat or remove all and reapply after a few days but it comes off easy with remover. The tips can start to peel if your hands are in water often but again, easy touch up. The trick is to keep the initial coat thin.Nickie

My nails haven't been this healthy or long in more than two years!! They got trashed, first from a home gel manicure, then from pregnancy-constantly peeling and splitting. My whole life (30+ years) I've had weak, peeling nails. I've tried "nail vitamins", biotin, and tons of other topical nail products (including Nail Envy and NailTek). Nothing worked at all. I felt I had to keep my nails polished constantly to make them presentable (which was causing more peeling, in the end). In early June one of my nails peeled & split down to the quick – it was so painful & unsightly, I had to try something. I like CND's Solar Oil so I bought this. HOLY COW…! Using it for 4 weeks 2x daily has FINALLY solved my nail issues!! It is a little hard to accept you can't wear polish for those 4 weeks but IT. IS. WORTH IT. Not only do my nails no longer peel, they are stronger and are growing longer than they ever have in my life. I wish I took before & after photos because the change is miraculous. I don't even want to wear polish anymore, they look that good. Now I only need this very occasionally, for a day or two if my nails are exceptionally dry. It's not a miracle but I think it's worth the money. I have 3 fingernails that grow out in layers, like shale, and one – the critical index finger in my right hand – that splits down the center and has to be filled down to the quick to keep from catching on things. I haven't had a manicure in years, so it's not from abusive products. My nails are both brittle and soft. Dry-dry-dry New England winters and intensive gardening (with gloves) in the summer don't help. I started using CND Rescue Rxx last winter and I am seeing improvement, particularly on the "shale nails." Not healed, but improved. Index finger, I think, is being fixing. It's also summer now so it's more humid, which helps with the dryness and bits popping off when I hit a hard surface head-on with any nail. I try to use the product daily (sometimes miss) and often twice a day. I know it takes nails a long time to grow out, so I will wait patiently. Figure this will have to be a long-term procedure for me, but I've seen enough improvement to keep at it.carpsmarsh

It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is good for growing them out, and having some color helps hide the damage. I would like a shimmery nude color better, but that is personal preference.Merry B.

This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear. Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed. It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. I really did not have any expectations of this product when I first started using it but figured it was worth a shot. I had acrylics for over a decade and then had to stop during the pandemic. My natural nails were so damaged, brittle and peeling, I had given up the idea of having nice nails again. I thought the Nailtrition at best would bind the peeling nails and prevent them from splitting but my nails are growing so well and (knock on wood) haven’t broken or split since I’ve started using this. Instructions for using DermaNail say that results will not be apparent for 8 to 16 weeks. I have only had the product for less than 3 weeks, so it is too soon to judge its effectiveness. I am disappointed in that the tube of nail moisturizer, Cutemol, used for step 2 arrived with too little in it. It was less than 1/2 full. I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. While I credit the No More Bitting polish for helping me kick the habit, the health of my nails I attribute to oiling my cuticles and First Aid Kiss. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. I am tossing my collection of prior types of nail polishes I've accumulated. I just think these are better for me and work better.Margoflyer

i have nails that wouldn't grow and when they finally start to grow breaks so easy. But i put my every word on this product. I have used about every nail strengtheners and growth on the market. But this one is everything in one it grows your nails on 3 days they are strong and all stay the same size. i really LOVE this product and recommends it to anyone that has trouble growing your real nails out. These products are inexpensive, and you can find them at Walmart and Amazon (amongst others). These products make your nails very strong, and protect them successfully from breaking. I have not had any breakage since I started using them. Previously I used a different nail hardener, but had breakage with that one.

This is certainly a handy all-in-one product that can be used as a base coat, top coat, fill-in, and nail protectant. I typically do gel or dip on my nails because they are very brittle and prone to flaking. I apply this product over my 1+ week old dip nails to give them extra shine. This product has a lovely, moisturizing gel-like texture that gives a wonderful shine. However, because it has a thicker, more moisturizing consistency, it takes a very long time to dry so would probably not be ideal as a top coat for regular nail polish. If you don’t touch it at all, the finish is beautiful, but even if you accidentally touch it hours later before it has fully dried, the finish can become texturized and dull. I think this is best used as a nail protectant over natural nails or over acrylic/dip/gel. It is super easy to apply with a generous large brush and (relatively) minimal nail polish odor. I would recommend this product on polish-breaks between manicures. It is also a great all-purpose travel polish. This treatment was super beneficial for my natural nails. I had just removed my acrylic nails at home with a regular nail file and some acetone, so my nails were weak, dry, and a little brittle. After washing my hands after all the abrasive removal, I put on two layers of this treatment and then some cuticle oil after it dried. Not only are my nails shiny and healthy-looking, they also feel a lot stronger than before. My nails have always been a little weaker and textured, but I genuinely would not be able to see that with this treatment on. My nails are also significantly smoother than they were with all the filing I did. I also found the smell to be quite pleasant compared to normal nail polish and acetone, but maybe that was because I applied it after smelling acetone fumes for a couple hours. While I love it as a treatment, I cannot vouch for it as a base coat nor a top coat, This could be a good “primer” for a base coat, but it doesn’t seem sticky enough to be a good base coat that helps polish adhere to it. I also don’t think the texture is quite smooth or even enough to be a top coat which is meant to seal and even everything.grace.c

I have been learning how to do my own ombre nails and nail stamping. It can be a long process to apply the many different layers to achieve the look I want, and it is very frustrating to go through all that work only to smear the polish on a nail and have to start over. Enter Sally Insta Dri Top Coat. This awesome little gem is a nice consistency and goes on nicely – it's not too thin, yet doesn't gloop everywhere either. It leaves a nice shiny, clear color, and speeds the drying process. It also does not soak through the nail stamping sealer coat, so it doesn't smear the stamped designs. I have tried some expensive top coats that permeate through the layers of polish and ruin the nail stamping designs. The best part, this top coat protects my manicure! I wash dishes, cook, do laundry, type on a computer, shuffle papers around, and this top coat protects through it all! As any nail professional will tell you, you must touch up your manicure with a good top coat every few days if you want to prolong the life of your manicure. This Sally Insta Dri Top Coat is perfect for that, too. I just apply a quick top coat every other day before I leave for work in the morning and it is completely set by the time I arrive at the office. Perfect! This is my manicure after four days – and no, it is not gel (cure with a light) polish. I use regular (mostly Sally Hansen and Essie) nail polish.Iris

Using this product developed my nail structure, and texture. Now I can to have long natural nails without any worries. I have been using this product for a few years -but only occasionally – now I am following instructions and using it 4 times a day, and will continue to do so for at least 6 months (the time it takes to grow a new nail out). Nobody knew what was wrong with my thumbnail. It looked like a fungal infection but it didn't respond to antifungal creams. My doctor sent me to a prominent local dermatologist who seemed concerned. He recommended this Elon nail conditioner, told me to use it for a month and then come back. If there was no improvement, he was going to have to remove the nail and do a biopsy. I have had dry, brittle fingernails for a few years, another fun thing about getting old. I researched the issue and came up with lack of moisure being a primary cause. I think Elon nail conditioner is an excellent product. I do not have as good a result as I would like and have concluded that because of Raynaud’s and the very poor circulation it causes in my fingers, I still have terrible nail problems, especially in winter. Other health issues may also be contributing to it. My nails are very dry and they peel and split and break easily. I am constantly filing them. I have used Nail Tek products for about 20 years, as their nail treatment/therapy products have worked wonders for me. My nail used to never grow. I began using Nail Tek, #2 with the cuticle/nail oil when preparing for my wedding in hopes to grow my own nails. I have the WORST cuticles. They're dry, they peel, they get hangnails, and I pick at them when I'm stressed/anxious. They've been an ongoing issue for years. I've tried quite a few products, and this one is a miracle worker. I noticed a difference straight away, and after a week of use, have to say that this is gonna become a permanent addition of my manicure kit. The ONLY thing I'd caution against is the smell. I was a little wary to purchase this because of the price and hit-and-miss effectiveness of L’Occitane. But I figured based on the reviews and often-out-of-stock nature of this item, I’d give it a shot. So glad I did. My cuticles have been a nightmare for years: dry, peeling, prone to hangnails, etc., but this helps a lot due to its Shea content and what I would bet is a patented applicator (pictured with my review). The whites of my nail tips started growing back within 48 hours! I’ve slaughtered my nails after using press-on nails with nail glue and salon gel manicures, but it was a stupid habit to get into because I have lovely, long, strong, and white-tipped nails naturally. Wow! I’ve been getting acrylics on and off since my early teens (now early 30’s) and the only time I’ve ever been able to grow my nails without them peeling or breaking, is when I had on acrylics…. I have purchased multiple products by other brands to help me deal with my splitting nails. I'd try one product, then move on to the next because I would either see no improvement, or it made my nails worse. Butter London's Horse Power Nail Rescue Basecoat is amazing! It is the one product that actually seemed to make a difference. Minimally it doesn't exacerbate the problem, but I think it is actually making my nails healthier! Have been using it for just about 2 weeks now. I can’t really say it makes my nails any harder but I do like it and it does seem to stay on my nails well with no real peeling . Also for a base coat it does have a nice shine to it which I like. The reason 4 stars is because I was hoping my nails would be a stronger, but maybe with more continued use..Pauline S.

I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I’ll attach a picture along with results. I found this product through my mom (a nail technician) plus vegan pure multivitamin nail hardener (also at Walmart) I started using these products every other day. And give or take 2 months in my nails are have grown so long. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I work a lot with my hands when I make costumes and clothing, and my nails tend to break, chip and crack. Since I started using this, my nails seem stronger. I only gave this product 4 stars because I haven't been using it for very long, so I can't say if it really lives up to the hype. But I can say that I have been very surprised within the small amount of time I have been using it, and plan to keep using it. I have a feeling I will continue to be surprised.Amy

Not for nail growth, but stops nail peeling/brittle nails. Also great as a top and base coat! Ok so I’ve been trying this for 3 months and I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in nail growth rate. However! I have very brittle nails that break and peel if they get long so I’ve always been on the lookout for something that helps and this works wonders! I keep getting compliments on my nails and how I can actually grow them now. I followed the directions for use as applying 2 coats every 3 days and I haven’t had any problems with peeling or my nails breaking when they get longer. I would suggest also painting underneath the nail tip to strengthen both sides. I would recommend for people with brittle nails, but don’t expect faster nail growth.
