20 Best Nail Drills (2024 Update)

So this is the Melody Susie Sheen Nail Drill. I ordered this in 2019. 5 STARS y'all!! It gets all five stars from me because it's just that good and still works as it did the day I bought it, 3 years ago. My bf loves for me to do his nails with this 😆 (he's a diva too). First thing I noticed when I unboxed it is it doesn't feel light, plastic-y and cheap. It has a "for professionals" feel to it. You may not know what I mean but you'll see once you order one. It works so good y'all! It comes with 6 drill bits and a case for storage, 6 sanding bands of diff grit levels, a baggie of sanding bands, user manual, the actual electric drill, and the power cord. The drill has two spins: clockwise and counter, plus it has a dial to go fast or slower. And the best part, it does an awesome job! I can't even fit everything I want to say in this review. I store mines in this cute little Victoria Secrets bag and everything fits perfectly. I highly recommend you add this to your nail kits.ashley.s

I absolutely love this drill. The weight, color, and portability are amazing! It’s so pretty! I’m a beginner and it’s so easy to use. I can’t wait to get the matching LED lamp!! My photos don’t do it justice. Such a beautiful color. Came with everything in my photos. Only down side which isn’t that big of a deal or worth a return or exchange. The drill handle has a small scratch over the KS and the LCD screen has a dark spot on the top right but both aren’t that noticeable and don’t effect the use of the drill.Megan W.

I'm a licensed nail tech and I've always wanted this specific e-file from Kiara Sky but couldn't justify the price at the time. I believe I got this during their 20% entire site sale. Don't get me wrong, despite 20% off, it was still expensive but BOY DOES THIS WORK LIKE A DREAM. It's super quiet, powerful, and low maintenance. My drill arrived on Monday June 6th, 2022. I am blown away. This drill is awesome! There is absolutely no vibration and even at 35,000 there is almost no noise. I've tried many nail drill in the 22 years I've been doing my own nails. From the lower priced ones on Amazon ro more expensive brands like Medicool, iGel and Nail Genie. I probably could have used a 4 step ladder rather than a 3 stepper but that was my mistake, not the supplier's. The instruction sheet was almost useless since the parts listing was in English and the actual instructions were in both Chinese and French, not English. I was able to install it by looking at the pictures in conjunction with the parts list. Fortunately, It was not very complicated, although I had to buy large wood screws to complete the installation (anchoring the ladder to the dock). I was aware of the need to buy screws for that purpose and all of the other necessary was included. So far the pontoon/dock ladder is working as expected so I have no complaints post purchase & installation.ronfo_79

I was able to trim and thin my tick toe nails to a point where the fungus is barely noticeable. I am so happy to be able to do it myself from now on. I like that it is lightweight, the speed is easily adjustable and there are plenty of attachments to work with.chouiann

This item was a replacement item for one that I broke.I dropped that handle and bent the tip which is a N0-No as it would not hold the burrs straight and they wobbled.The handle was deemed completely useless. It is almost as expensive to replace the tip if you can find one as it is to purchase a new unit.Since the unit belonged to someone else who was working in the shop. and it was part of her 34lively hood34 that I had destroyed, I bought her a new unit.She uses it every day in her work.She is very pleased with my purchase from Amazon..Barbara

I purchased the drill when it was on sale in February. After 6 months of carefully using it, the drill suddenly stop working. Contact the customer care, they advised to contact the Harmony Drill. I did send email and called like they advised but no resolve from any of the party. not worth $270van n.

This wonderful manicure/pedicure set was well thought-out to include just about everything you might need. It comes with a cloth zippered case and has form fitting places in the form of a plastic insert which holds the device and all of the accessories neatly. The plastic insert can be removed if you prefer. The case retains its shape if you remove the insert. The inside lid of the case has a mesh pocket where you can keep the power cord and the manual. The case does not have a handle. In the case: Power cord with a micro USB end to charge up the device, Dust shield, 10 attachments, and a User Guide. No plug for the cord. The attachments are: Sapphire cone – to remove dry skin and calluses from feet and manicures the toenails. Coarse Sapphire wheel – Files nails quickly Fine Sapphire wheel – Files nails. Finer than the coarse wheel to file more gently and slowly Felt cone – For buffing and polishing Cylindrical Grinder – Grinds and smooths toenails Pointed Grinder – Removes ingrown toenails. The plus and minus buttons on the device control the speed. There are 3 speed settings. The instructions say to always start at the lowest speed and only increase the speed if needed. I never used it any faster. I thought the slowest setting was more than adequate. There is an automatic switch-off after 20 minutes. I like that the device is cordless, because I was holding it at all sorts of different angles to do my pedicure. Nail dust was flying everywhere so I attached the Dust Shield to keep it from flying up in my face. It worked great for that. It doesn’t catch the dust. It just protects it from getting it in your eyes or accidentally breathing it in. There is an LED light. If you use one of the larger attachments, it will block the light from shining where you are working. Also it was too difficult to try to always keep the light on the area I was working. I did use it though. I would stop for a second and shine the light on the spot to better see how it was looking. My First Pedicure with the Beurer: I started out using the coarse sapphire wheel on my toenails. That quickly got them filed down. I switched to the Fine Sapphire wheel to smooth the edge and “fine tune" my nail filing. Next, I used the Sapphire cone to remove my cuticles from my toenails and to decrease some of the slight thickness of the nails on my great toes. Then I switched to the Pointed Grinder to get the cuticles at the corners and to fine tune any cuticles that I had missed, as well as getting the corners of my great toe nails. I followed that up with the Felt cone to buff my toenails. I used both the Fine Sapphire Callus file and the Sapphire Cone on calluses and dry skin on my feet. I really loved the sapphire cone and how it made my rough skin feel baby smooth. I used the Sapphire Cone mostly for that. You do not have to use a lot of pressure for the attachments to work. In fact, very little pressure will be much safer while providing excellent results. Also use the attachments in circular movements, except when shortening the nails. At first, I was trying to keep my feet positioned over a small waste basket, but dust was flying everywhere, so I ended up sitting on a bath mat and letting the dust fall onto the mat, which is easily washable, or can be vacuumed. Before retirement, I was an RN and often took care of diabetics, including their foot nail care. I would have loved to have had this tool. I feel with proper use (not too much pressure and using circular motions) it would be very suitable for them with minimal risk. When I was working, only an RN was allowed to do the nail care on a diabetic’s feet. The reason for this was because of the risk of injury using the sharp cutting tools that were the only things available at the time. One of the overall design features that I like the best is that the Nail Pro Premium by beurer of Germany comes in a nice zip case along with everything you need to groom your nails, whether you need a manicure or a pedicure. The product is of a high-quality design and comes with 10 different sapphire and felt attachments that seem to meet all needs for nail care of manicuring or pedicures. This is my second medicool file. My first one was bought second hand. Its been good to me for 10 years with regular handpiece maintenance. It will probably be my go to file as long as the company exists. This is a second file for my home business.For the record it comes with a grey handpiece cradle, the purple is my personal one. I recommend medicool hands down. Easy to change bits and the perfect weight handpiece, IMOamandazing

Has great power, had two of them now and with light use since 2015 both of the drills will not lock/release the bits. Blew them off as recommended. To expensive for what you get. Can buy similar electric files 5 times less. I do not recommend this for nail clients.Jerry

3 1/2 stars from me. Its ok but the Kupa UP200 is better, even though the Kupa is only 20,000rpms it doesnt overheat unlike the Medicool. The medicool over heats and the hand piece although light in weight is bulky in my hand because of the mechanism that allows you to change the carbide bits protrudes out a little bit. The Kupas handpeice is a bit heavier but it is more stream lined and made to be sturdier and doesnt overheat. The medicool is compact but still does not beat the Kupa. I am a professional nail technician, if my job requires me to do several acrylic nails fills or full sets in a row then I need something that wont heat up and get hot in my hand. I will be returning this as soon as I can and just shell out 150ish more for the Kupa. I own a medicool pro power pack that is rechargeable and though that the electric file for the table would be just as good, it is not. My portable power pack is better then this except it needs to be recharged which was why I bought the one for the table. I have included my coworkers Kupa and the medicool for comparasion. In our work stations there are holes in it so we can put our hand pieces in and mine does not fit in it but hers does, hence the reason why I say the medicools hand piece is bulky and not streamlined.TZE-LE

This is the perfect do it yourself home professional manicure and pedicure kit. Although you can use it on yourself, I found that it is much relaxing if someone does it for you. I originally got this to try on my wife and she loves getting the pampered treatment at home while watching TV or just soaking in the tub. It's pretty light weight compared to others products. Comfortable to hold and a cool thing about this is that it comes with a nice looking carrying case. Also includes seven attachments that can be applied or detached very easy with out any struggling. I can't even begin to tell you how much money we have saved already from not going to the nail salon. Its also so simple to use on yourself that I have started to give my own toe nails a little TLC if my wife is to tired or at work, and yes it does great on construction feet. It has a bright LED light and can rotate clockwise or counter so you can use it if your right handed or a lefty.lmzm

The Beurer Electric Manicure & Pedicure kit comes in a compact carrying case where everything fits neatly inside. When I first looked at the 7 attachments I was a bit overwhelmed. Never having used anything like this, I was afraid I was going to sand my toes and finger nails right off my body. There is an instruction booklet that explains each attachment. The machine itself is not too heavy and can be easily positioned. The attachments can be used forward and in reverse. There are several speed choices and there is a lighted gauge that shows what speed you are in. This kit is safe for diabetics. I started off slowly with the cone attachment to remove callouses from heels and toes. It works like a charm! I have super smooth feet! I am going to practice and venture out and try all the attachments but for now knowing that I can smooth my feet and safely trim my husbands crocodile toenails is awesome.Sissy

I received this Manicure / Pedicure set from the Spark Reviewer Program for free in exchange for an honest review. Taking better care of my feet is one of my top priorities this year so when saw this come up for review I jumped on it. For the cost of one pedicure at a salon, I can do a better job myself anytime at home with this machine. Also, I don't have to endure embarrassment from a pedicurists. My heels, which had thick callouses, are now almost baby-soft and my thickened toenails have been thinned out. My feet look a lot better after having used this machine just once. It is a very good size and quite comfortable to use. Many attachments to accomplish all manicure and pedicure needs in the comfort of your own home. Apparently there seems to be two types of these on the market :one with higher definition and more options as is advertised here and one with lower picture /video definition and less menu options that I received. However I notified the seller and he did refund me five dollars. So all in all its a stellar deal. Also, the battery fully charged was only good for one to five minutes depending on what I was doing, filming or browsing the menu. But, I ordered a better battery (higher MAH) online for cheap from another ebay seller from China. Might be pretty decent if the battery ever gets here. Over 20 days and still waiting for it now. I will still order another higher definition unit so I can get more accurate video of goings on at greater distances , but this one was worth the price after all.knightowlecks0

Everyone is commenting about the drill bits but I watched a Youtuber review the item and it worked good. No, it may not have came with instructions but the youtuber figured it out. You're suppose to unscrew the metal part a good amount, then pop the piece in and screw it back together. Y'all could've asked for help instead of just degrading the product.Zaria

This item arrived ahead of schedule. I thought it would be sub-par since it is so small, but I was gratefully surprised. The variable speed and reverse polarity make this item ideal for all types of nails. The speed varies from a dead stop to around 18,000 rpm, which is great for natural nails to acrylic. Because of its power, size and functionality, I would definitely recommend this product to any nail tech.ZoneD
