This is the best drill i have owned. For the price I’m impressed. It truly reaches 20,000 rpm but you should never use a drill at that speed. I do find that if too much pressure is applied to the nail the drill will stop which is a bummer for the motor and a blow to the perception of the quality. I can’t bring myself to spend 400 on a drill so this is the next best thing for those who would like something for personal or commercial use. Also, be sure to dust off the pen after every use to prevent clogging and this drill will last you a long time!Mickayla

I love the fast spreed of this drill and I have never had any issues with using this drill . I purchased this e-file after much research. Im not a professional, have been getting augments for two decades, and recently began doing my own nails with a dip system. I think this efile is perfect for my purposes. It is not appropriate for natural nails — its for acrylic dip, gel, polygel…etc. Also, I use a fluffy brush to clear the bit and shaft of dust before changing bits, in hopes of keeping dust out of the motor to extend the life e-file. A lot of complaints about efiles seem to stem from the root cause of users not practicing good hygiene with their files, resulting in the file becoming non functional too soon.Pamela

First of all, I purchased a purple color and I received a white unit so Im giving it a 4 star. But testing the unit id say its very good! Attached some photos for reference. The unit itself is so lightweight and compact. I can take it anywhere and can easily fit in my tote bag. Great tool for investment for beginners and professionals alike. Im a new, Covid DIY home manicurist.As with any skill theres a definite learning curve when doing our own nailsbut this e-file performs beautifully!!Watch a bunch of videos, keep your expectations reasonable, and with time youll be pleased with your results! Dont expect professional results on day 1, but patience and practice will get you there. Im 7 months in and still mastering filing with my non-dominant hand but videos help. The head rotation makes them convenient to use without stretching wrists into inconvenient angles. There should be more leverge on the finger nail clipper. Some of my nails are tough and I had to use the toe nail clipper on them but the wider curvature of the toe nail clipper meant more trimming. I haven't used them on my toe nails yet. This works terrific for doing my umbrella cockatoos toenails. She normally hates having her nails trimmed, and she cries and fights getting them done. She was a bit apprehensive at first, but soon realized it didn't hurt and now allows me too do them. It quiet, so it doesn't frighten her like a dremmel, and it doesn't hurt or cause bleeding like cutting them with clippers. I would recommend this product for larger birds.Karen

The reason I bought it was the reviews said it was quiet, and it is, very quiet. It is also a little weak. But that is an ok trade off because my dog is so freaked out about everything. The main thing is it worked and I got it done. And the battery lasted for all four paws. I was getting a little worried it wouldn't. So all in all it did just fine. My dog is a rescue. When I rescued her there was no touching her paws. Now with lots of work I'm able to file her nails. I love this nail grinder. It took some effort to get my dog to cooperate including patience, praise, and a lot of treats. He is still terrified but goes along with the procedure. Taking small steps – his nails were very long – I managed to painlessly file the nails to nearly ideal length. I personally was thrilled to get this pet mail trimmer, for several reasons. My large dog needed hers done badly and I was always terrified to trim them myself because God forbid I cut them too deep, I would feel awful and so would she for separate reasons, lol!! I would’ve taken her to the vet but she hates going there since she got spayed. When I found out about this mail grinder it was like it was meant for me…or, at least people like me. Now, I can trim her nails any time I was and I don’t feel anxious at all. The only problem is that she does have thicker nails and the grinder takes a while to get her nails down t where I want them, and obviously that takes time. She doesn’t like to sit still that long so I find that she tries to get away right in the middle of her mani, lol. I have a full sized golden retriever and this worked a lot better than expected. It has two settings and the lowest one works perfectly. It has 4 or 5 different sized holes in the top that keep you from shaving off too much. I had never used this before and didn't want to use the clippers because I was afraid of cutting them too short. With these he'll pull away if he feels any uncomfort. I got all of his nails over a two day period and it's almost addicting. There's really no cons about this tool. If you go to fast you can smell some burning of the nails but that's only when you push too hard.Brian

I’ve bought two of these. The first is a bit quieter then the second one. I think it works great and my dog (Chinese Crested) hates her nails clipped however she sits for the nail grinder without much fuss. The rough brown attachment grinds down faster but is a little noisier. The stone like attachment smooths and is more quiet. I like this item. The only reason I bought the second one is I needed attachments and it was just easier in this time of limited stock. Don’t know what I would do without it because otherwise I would have to make trips to the groomer at my vets office.Snepp

This is crap! I bought this today, and it didn’t even last 3 minutes. The second speed never worked, so i was forced to work with the first that would randomly stop. Until the screw that kept the sanding band on sprung off and cracked the safe guard. I tightened the screw and it popped off again in less than a minute. This wonderful manicure/pedicure set was well thought-out to include just about everything you might need. It comes with a cloth zippered case and has form fitting places in the form of a plastic insert which holds the device and all of the accessories neatly. The plastic insert can be removed if you prefer. The case retains its shape if you remove the insert. The inside lid of the case has a mesh pocket where you can keep the power cord and the manual. The case does not have a handle. In the case: Power cord with a micro USB end to charge up the device, Dust shield, 10 attachments, and a User Guide. No plug for the cord. The attachments are: Sapphire cone – to remove dry skin and calluses from feet and manicures the toenails. Coarse Sapphire wheel – Files nails quickly Fine Sapphire wheel – Files nails. Finer than the coarse wheel to file more gently and slowly Felt cone – For buffing and polishing Cylindrical Grinder – Grinds and smooths toenails Pointed Grinder – Removes ingrown toenails. Small for precise use. Round Sapphire Grinder – Removes corns. Use carefully. Needle-shaped Cutter – Precision tool. Used on ingrown nails or parts of dead nails. Fine Sapphire callus file – Removes calluses on the soles and heel of the feet. Crystal callus file – Use on thick, hard skin or large calluses on soles or heel. Charge up your device for about 3 hours before your first use and the charge should last about 2 hours according to the manual. You have to have your device turned off to charge it. It will flash red and green if it isn’t. It will flash with 3 blue lights if everything is OK. When the 3 blue lights are solid, it is charged. The power button on the device has 3 positions. Up, Middle, and Down. Down turns the attachment counter-clockwise and you will see a red light. Up turns the attachment clockwise and you will see a green light. The middle position is off. I thought I would not need to change the device from clockwise to counterclockwise and back again, but I found myself changing it while I was working to make it easier, so I see why this feature was included. The plus and minus buttons on the device control the speed. There are 3 speed settings. The instructions say to always start at the lowest speed and only increase the speed if needed. I never used it any faster. I thought the slowest setting was more than adequate. There is an automatic switch-off after 20 minutes. I like that the device is cordless, because I was holding it at all sorts of different angles to do my pedicure. Nail dust was flying everywhere so I attached the Dust Shield to keep it from flying up in my face. It worked great for that. It doesn’t catch the dust. It just protects it from getting it in your eyes or accidentally breathing it in. There is an LED light. If you use one of the larger attachments, it will block the light from shining where you are working. Also it was too difficult to try to always keep the light on the area I was working. I did use it though. I would stop for a second and shine the light on the spot to better see how it was looking. My First Pedicure with the Beurer: I started out using the coarse sapphire wheel on my toenails. That quickly got them filed down. I switched to the Fine Sapphire wheel to smooth the edge and “fine tune" my nail filing. Next, I used the Sapphire cone to remove my cuticles from my toenails and to decrease some of the slight thickness of the nails on my great toes. Then I switched to the Pointed Grinder to get the cuticles at the corners and to fine tune any cuticles that I had missed, as well as getting the corners of my great toe nails. I followed that up with the Felt cone to buff my toenails. I used both the Fine Sapphire Callus file and the Sapphire Cone on calluses and dry skin on my feet. I really loved the sapphire cone and how it made my rough skin feel baby smooth. I used the Sapphire Cone mostly for that. You do not have to use a lot of pressure for the attachments to work. In fact, very little pressure will be much safer while providing excellent results. Also use the attachments in circular movements, except when shortening the nails. At first, I was trying to keep my feet positioned over a small waste basket, but dust was flying everywhere, so I ended up sitting on a bath mat and letting the dust fall onto the mat, which is easily washable, or can be vacuumed. Before retirement, I was an RN and often took care of diabetics, including their foot nail care. I would have loved to have had this tool. I feel with proper use (not too much pressure and using circular motions) it would be very suitable for them with minimal risk. When I was working, only an RN was allowed to do the nail care on a diabetic’s feet. The reason for this was because of the risk of injury using the sharp cutting tools that were the only things available at the time. I mention this only to emphasize the importance of being extraordinarily careful when doing pedicure care on diabetics. I really MarilynB

I love this product! I had to say goodbye to the nail salon during the past 18 months due to the pandemic, and I was in dire need of a new pedicure set. I used to own an electric nail care set and it was a good one that lasted for several years, but since it was powered by electricity, I always had to be tethered to the electrical outlet which was not always convenient. This is not as good quality as i was expecting from a name like wahl. The motor seems rather weak and stops spinning with very little pressure and the build is very plasticky. It took a while to get my dogs used to it and the trick was taking it slowly with lots of treats over a couple of weeks. DO NOT rush it or they will never accept it. Having a grinder put on your nails is a very alien concept for a dog after all.royjess

Have had this nail grinder for several years and use it all the time. It is quite quiet and takes the nail down easily. Tried a battery grinder, which wasn't up to the task. This wahl set is wicked. Really works well and allows you to keep on top of claw maintenance. It's a little noisy but what you get inntrade off is a fast effective grinder with multipurpose attachments that work. I'm really pleased with this purchase. It's made keeping our large puppies claws short, neat and rounded off easy. If you have a medium to large dog this is the one. For a cat or tiny dog maybe a battery one could work but the two grinders are totally different levels of grindinglogi203
