These products are inexpensive, and you can find them at Walmart and Amazon (amongst others). These products make your nails very strong, and protect them successfully from breaking. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I’m really picky when it comes to mascara just because of my small short Asian lash hair. It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I work a lot with my hands when I make costumes and clothing, and my nails tend to break, chip and crack. Since I started using this, my nails seem stronger. Not for nail growth, but stops nail peeling/brittle nails. Also great as a top and base coat! Ok so I’ve been trying this for 3 months and I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in nail growth rate. However! I only gave this 3 stars because although it is a great nail strengthener, it really worked, I ordered the light pink twice and twice I received beige. When I called, VCS checked with the company and told me they said sheer pink is pink … but I have 2 jars both labeled sheer pink but they are definitely beige. I like this product. I'm too busy with my hands and don't have time for constant manicures and nail repair. This product gives my fingernails a little shine and hardens them. It lasted over a week before I took it off easily with remover and polished again. I ordered the light pink bottle but it is definitely NOT pink at all. With one application it is clear. I have used Nailtiques Formula 2 for many years. It absolutely improves the strength and look of my nails. The trick is to use it consistently and follow the directions to apply one coat daily. I make one to three applications a week to maintain the results and make sure I always have this on my nails. I don't wear color polish often but Nailtiques works great as a first coat with color polish as the second. If you are just starting out with Nailtiques I would suggest not using colored polish for the first few weeks and just use Nailtiques to give your nails a good start. I was given this polish to restore my nails after having a gel manicure for years. I stopped for covid19, as I couldn’t justify the salon trips with a high health risk person in my household. Sadly, I was forced to let my beautifully appointed gel nail manicure grow out and disappear. Of course what I was left with was entirely awful destroyed nails. I've used Nutra-Nail protein for years. At first I used it several times a day and then at bedtime. Now I use it a couple of times a week. It does a great job if you use it faithfully. I have read some poor reviews and feel those are the people who did not use it faithfully several times a day or only used it for a short period of time. Good results happen in time. When your nails are bad you will see how quickly Nutra-Nail absorbs into the nails. Once your nails start to improve it will take longer for it to absorb. Maybe those who are not happy were using the clear polish and not the protein formula. Who knows??? But I highly recommend this if you want to give it a try. I got this product as a set which included the Nutra Nail Flex-Shield Hardener. I have to tell you all its perfect! Doing dishes and constantly working with my hands my nails were not in the best shape. After using both of these products I was amazed! It really does work. My nail grew longer over time, also It made my nails stronger and they don't get cracks anymore. If I'm using colored nail polish, I use the Nutra Nail Flex-Shield Hardener as both a base and top coat (which really helps the color last). I recommend this to anyone who needs to repair their nails asap! Great product!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this nail hardener. It keeps my nails super protected – they're prone to break and they haven't broken since I started using it. It adds a shine that makes my nails look like gel nails, which I love because gel manicures just destroy my nails. However, the shine is not very long lasting but I usually apply a coat whenever my polish is looking dull and it dries in 1 minute, which is so much more time-conscious than going to a salon to get a high-shine finish or just redoing my nails entirely. It also keeps the polish from chipping, and it's not one of those hardeners that cracks after 2 or 3 days. I seriously love this product. I do like the way this looks on my nails. It looks thicker on the nail than other top coats. However, you have to be like Goldilocks with application and use an amount that’s just right. If you use too much- your nails will never dry! Or you’ll think they are dry and then end up with a “dent” in one of them the next day. You must follow the instructions! I thought I knew how to paint my nails, already… but this is a bit different. I gave it 3 stars because of the price. You pay a lot of money for such a tiny bottle. I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. I strongly recommend this product, but I will warn people to look into the entire process and what it entails, because these last two weeks of the month will take a bit of commitment.Claire
I'm 29 and I've chewed on my nails for as long as I can remember. I'm talking like bitten them down, bleeding nails, stubby fingers. Between this and No More Biting, I've been able to spend almost two years without biting. So, I figured it was time for a review. While I credit the No More Bitting polish for helping me kick the habit, the health of my nails I attribute to oiling my cuticles and First Aid Kiss. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. As soon as pandemic hit, my nail salon closed. I let cut down my acrylics and eventually soaked them in Acetone and removed them. My nails were weak, thin, brittle and have horizontal lines and cracks. I bought Rocket Fuel in Hope's that it would help my nails. They were already grown out from the acrylic damage but were just weak, brittle and had these ridges, causing me to have to keep them very short. Used Rocket Nail Fuel for the recommended 8 weeks. No changes in my nails…still weak, brittle and ridged. Besides that about 3/4s through the bottle, the polish became very thick and hard to apply. Also, by the time I was at my third coat my nails had a blue tinge which just looked weird. I wrote customer service and was told that there was no blue tinge…"Hello, am I seeing things?" And that to remedy the thickness of the polish, I should add a few drops of Acetone. Really? I thought the whole concept behind Rocket Fuel was that it had natural, healthy ingredients. Now you want me to put Acetone into the product to thin it out? All in all, if I could give it zero stars I would. I did get a refund though, so that is the upswing. I did go to my dermatologist and he looked at my nails and the remainder of what was in the bottle of Rocket Fuel and said, it seemed I paid over $20 for a product that I could buy at the drugstore for under $5 and that by the smell of the product it smells just like any other nail polish out there and I would do best to go back to using my good old standby odor Black Jamaiican Castor Oil which amazingly cured the fungus under my toenails and does help moisturize my fingernails…and costs a fraction of what Beaute Garde's Rocket Fuel (Can you say $1 at the Dollar Tree?). Dont fall for these high price gimmicky beauty products, when there are natural things out there that cost next to nothing and do much more.
I was extremely excited when I saw the FB ad in regards to strong nails not breaking. I have very thin, peeling nails and the sides of my thumb's split so I thought this would answer my prayers. I have put three coats on over a week and a half and I had FOUR nails break on me! The cost at $23 and the product not working is totally RIDICULOUS!! My nails were all the same length and they were long and I was so looking forward to this product working and I am extremely disappointed! It made my nails extremely hard but when they started breaking over simply opening the car door that is absolutely ridiculous! I am not using my nails as tools to open packages and I'm very careful because I have thin nails. But when you're opening your car door and your nail breaks it's just ludicrous! This product does not do what it says it does! I had to cut my nails down all the way because of the FOUR breaks I had two on each hand!! I would definitely not recommend this product to anybody and unfortunately I did to a friend and she bought it but she is in Costa Rica right now and I have no communication with her right now but when she gets back I really want to know how she made out! I had to give this one star because I cannot give it a zero star and give a review but it kills me to give one star!! Using it for about a week now and so far am very pleased. Can see a noticeable improvement in my nails, even right after the first application – nail surface is smoother and color more even. Overall, nails look healthier and they do feel a bit stronger. When I was seven or so years old, I slammed my right thumbnail in a car door. My nail was allowed to heal on its own– which was not great. The nail has a big bump or two, right in the center of the nailbed and has always caught on fabric or provided an irresistible object to mess with or (better word) aggravate. In my later years, I began to try nail stickers, filing and super glue. The stickers and glue, only made the nail more snaggy and the filing made it thinner — no good results. Then … I stumble upon this product after browsing a scientific article about how the combination of the two main ingredients, showed much promise. After two weeks of applying it about 3 times a day, my thumbnail is nearly unrecognizable. I'm guessing these ingredients have moisturized the nail and bed. I'm not sure about why it feels so much smoother, but I am thrilled with the results. If you haven’t tried it, IT’s TIME! I usually am not one to write glowing reviews, but after 6 years of constant nail enhancements (dip powder, gel, and acrylic), I finally have healthy and strong NATURAL nails again! When the pandemic first happened, I was on of the many people who didn’t know what to do without my nail shop. Once my dip powder grew out, my nails were red, thin, brittle and peeling! They were sensitive to touch! I let the sensitivity go away, and then I purchased nailtiques formula 2 plus! After about 1 1/2 months of constant use (one coat applied every day for a week and then removing it on the 7th day and repeat), my nails have never been better! I wear polish and people always think that it’s gel. I also use formula 1 for maintenance, but I don’t have to even use it all the time. If you’re apprehensive, don’t be! I’ve been wearing acrylic nails for well over 20 years and since everything was initially closed from COVID-19, I started bringing my severely damaged nails back to health. I won’t step foot in a salon again! I think overall this does strengthen the nails however, because it does contain formaldehyde I DO NOT use as frequently as directed. I apply one coat and let it stay for a week. During that time I use the Hard as Hoof nail cream to keep my nails and cuticles moist. Once I remove the polish, I DO NOT immediately go to reapply this process. Instead, I let my nails BREATH (still applying my nail cream) for about a week and then redo the polish. Some people don’t realize that it’s really not good to keep burdening your nails with excess or repeated polishing habits as they will equally do just as much damage to the nail. I also DO NOT use acetone polish remover (the less you expose your nails to harsh chemicals, the better off your nails will be), I use this incredibly phenomenal plant based product (that you can also get from Target) called Blossom and it conditions your nails as you take the polish off! I used this (2 plus) back in the 90’s when an iron deficiency resulted in weak and brittle nails. They were beautiful after a couple of months use. Since then, I’ve used the no. 1 formula on occasion. Recently, several rounds of surgery and anesthesia left my nails in a dreadful state. My nails have been so strong since I started using this regularly. After I had acrylics on, my nails very super thin and brittle and wouldn’t grow! I’ve had strong nails my whole life and hadn’t experienced this before with acrylics so I was willing to try anything! This was recommended to me and after a few weeks my nails stopped breaking down and felt revitalized. Just go with the 3.88 Nail Aid brand instead of this outrageously priced top coat. It's not on sale so it's $10 and the first coat is very bumpy. Second coat smoothes it out but 2 days later and it's chipping. Honestly it's a total waste of money and I'll be buying Nail Aid from now on.Katie

This cream is great for repairing your nails from brittle weak to become strong growing fast, my only problem with this is I feel like it dries my skin out around the nail causes them to peak make my skin hard as well. If you use this make sure to back up your skin, using cuticle oil moisturizing cream that way you aren’t drying your skin out. To me it has a funny smell but after awhile you get use to it. It does work miracles but you have to be consistent use it as the directions say or you won’t be able to see results! Hopes this helps 🙂andrea.m
If you have flimsy, flakey, brittle nails, I've found your saving grace! My nails are exactly as mentioned before I was always going to the salon to get acrylics put on to make my nails stronger. Then looking at my nails, I could see the damage that the acrylics were causing. So, I read up on nail strengthening stuff they say that the polish-type has a lot of chemicals whatnot that really suck for your nails (but can be used sparingly). Then, this gem popped up. I loved how it didn't give off that chemical vibe (even though I'm sure there are chemicals in this) I also LOVE it's coconut smell. Wanna know the best part? I've been using this product for just at 24 hours now my nails are already stronger than before! Hopefully this isn't some fluke or placebo this keeps up the amazing work!tonya.w
Well I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I had no length to my nails. And was hoping to grow them out to a nice length. After two weeks just rubbing a small amount into my hands and nails just once a day they are now growing and are getting stronger. I love this product. Feels a little greasy on but it blends in and drys up fast. Smell is fine.Victoria
