I have the mini macaron individual nail lamp that actually looks like a macaron and comes with a full size polish in rose gold. I bought this set expecting similar success but I was a bit disappointed. First off the mini polishes are really hard to use. The brush is so short that it makes applying the polish incredibly difficult. I know what they were going for but the design is all wrong. A taller narrow bottle would have been better if they wanted to make minis. The shorter bottle is so frustrating that alone makes me want to return it. Secondly the lamp while aesthetically cute is not practical because you have to cure the thumb separately from the fingers. This feels like a huge design flaw. I want a salon quality gel manicure at home and I don’t see why a lamp this size won’t accommodate my whole hand. The other thing is that the lamp doesn’t seem to cure as well as the single finger lamp. Now to the pros, the colors are beautiful and limited edition. According to their website they can only be acquired through this deluxe set. But again the bottle brush are a pain. The bottom of the lamp is removable for pedicures but is difficult to slide the bottom of tray in and out. Overall it’s pretty but I feel like they leaned too hard into beauty and not enough into function.shakti.g
I have used this twice now and I love it! I feel like if you set your expectations properly, it’s a great product. The thing I hate most about painting my nails is that I never have time to let them dry properly so they always dent and chip. These cure right away in the machine so even if my kids interrupt me for something, I can get up and then come back to doing my nails. I’ve had mine on for 3 days now with very minimal chipping. With normal polish by day 3 it’s halfway gone. Keep the coats thin and do 2 coats, drying in between. Is it the same quality as a salon manicure? No. But I paid the same cost as a salon manicure to be able to do it whenever I want so this is a perfect filler to take away from having to get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. I wanted to try Le Mini Macaron for a while, because it looked so easy and was in such cute packaging, plus not having to go to a salon really appeals to me. I saw the Rose Gold and Cherry kits on sale once, and my daughter got them for me for Christmas. I followed the directions and BAM! Beautiful long-lasting manicure at last! Since then I've experimented with other one-step brands and had good success, but this one is the best so far. The process is super-easy, smooth application and a 30-second cure, will not chip (on me at least), does not dull out. Additionally, it is easy to remove. A couple of the colors are sheer, but all-in-all, I may just give up regular polish for Le Mini Macaron. My next step is the maxi lamp kit.Lanie

Honestly! These were a bit of a challenge for me to get use to. The curve was different but not bad. I actually enjoyed doing these nails. I painted them with gel polish making them extra durable. Love these!! They aren’t super long so it’s not that big a deal if you want to file them down so they work perfectly. The only issue I had was getting the nails to look more symmetrical when I filed them down to almond shapes. When applying, you have to make sure you put nail glue on both your natural and fake nail to make it last! Nails fell off after 3-5 days for me (I pick at my cuticles way too much, that def factored in). Overall, awesome value for the price and they look beautiful!!Baily Martha
I have always been a nail biter so my nails are not very long. I wanted to have nice nails for a formal event and decided to buy these. They’re much better that I thought they would be. I painted it with regular nail polish and topped it with a gel glitter polish. The gel cure allowed the nails to be a lot stronger which I love. I also painted the nails before gluing it to prevent the mess. My only complaint is that the glue is very strong. Both a pro and a con. It sticks very well but can be messy. These are fun nails with a large variety of colors. They were easy to apply and even shape if need be. They won’t last you all week but they’re perfect for a night out or a weekend get away. Quick and and easy to use instead of going to the nail salon and sitting for 2 hours . Also the nails were easy to remove without damaging my nails. My favorite part was having the option to use the adhesive tabs or the glue . Tabs for a night out or flue if I want to wear for several days! The color for the nails were really pretty and it fit my nail bed just nice! Even though it says short length, it was not short. I had to trim and file it to a shorter length. It is perfect if you'd like a 2 hour nail job because the stickers don't stick well at all, and my nails fell out within the day. I definitely suggest using the glue instead. Fortunately this set set came with both the glue and the stickers. Avoid those with only the stickers!S
I’ve learned to do my nails on my own because I find salon prices obscene. I’ve tried so many different brands and this is the one I keep coming back to. The never chip and will hold on for 10 days or longer, I’ve had mine on for almost 2 weeks now and I’m changing it just cause I’m bored with the design already, and because my nails are growing so you could kinda see a gap but only if you’re OC with that kind of thing like I am. The key lies in prepping your nails, make sure you clip, file and buff them before hand before pressing the nails on top, and don’t get them wet for an hour or two after. I find people who leave the bad reviews didn’t do the work which is all but 15mins, just saying. Follow this and they will last forever. Medium length works best for me cause I type a lot, plus do the dishes, clean, etc and long nails are hard to work with but that’s up to you. For less than $10 you get stylish, dependable nails. I literally buy many different types of pressure on nails, this item was good when I used it. The price isn't bad for them either. They stay on moderately good, but if I'm correct these don't have the sticky stuff on them already come off pretty fast. This dipping system is a huge YES! it costs exactly the same amount as one professional dip manicure and if you are patient and willing to learn a new skill you will save yourself hundreds of dollars with this investment. Because I do have a track record of painting outside the lines with regular nail polish, I was nervous that this would prove disastrous in doing my own dip. However, the consistency of the liquid bonders etc. are very thin meaning they were incredible easy to control. My recommendation to anyone looking to start doing DIY dip nails is to also invest in a nail drill, and a cheap nail brush (that won’t loose its hairs) to brush access powders. I also purchased nail caps to help ease the process of removing my dip manicures, (I absolutely detest sticking my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I much prefer clamping the cotton to my nails). Finally, the best pro tip I can give is to not worry about going overboard when your painting the liquid steps onto your nails. Recalling how quickly the women at my salon painted on step 1, I attempted to create the thinnest layer I could on my first attempt of my first couple nails. That method proved to be a fail and the dip spread out unevenly across the nail and I had to start over again. On the rest of my hand I made sure to make sure I made a solid wet layer across the nail, and each time I pulled my perfectly coated finger out of the powder I wanted to scream with joy! While this product may look intimidating, it really is quiet easy. I should mention that you can also mix and Match whatever brands of powder you want to use with this system as well. I've never had my nails done at a salon, so I've never had any exposure to the process of gel, acrylic or dip nails. I've just always used plain ol' nail polish, but I'm very active and finally got fed up with even the "best" quality nail polishes chipping within 2 days of application. Enter: Dipwell. Compared to some other kits and brands I've seen, Dipwell is way more affordable. I can't speak to any quality differences among brands though since this is my first ever experience with dip powders. I had to do 2-3 full applications before I feel like I got a hang of the application techniques, so if you're used to getting dip nails done at the salon, this will likely be easier for you (assuming you pay attention to the process)! Even after the 2nd time and still looking a little sloppy in places, it still looked better than most regular nail polish applications. By my 3rd application, I was able to create cute ombre accent nails, so you can learn pretty quickly. One thing to note is that this can get MESSY (or maybe I'm still bad at this…), especially with all the filing and buffing residue. Clean-up is fairly easy, but as a total noob to acrylic systems of any kind, I didn't expect the amount of mess it can create. The instruction pamphlet is pretty clear, but I also watched lots of tutorial videos to get a more complete picture of the process. The colors are beautiful, but I wish there were better swatches and photos on hands on the website, because some colors are not well-represented by the single swatch on the website. Also, it would be great to see each color on different skin tones! Overall, the learning curve is short, the kit is easy to use, and I love that the powders are affordable. This system is great and if you’re thorough and diligent with the instructions your manicure will look great and last. I bought this when there was not a build your own option, and was disappointed to find that the naturale colors included were not my style. The lighter color is filled with glitter/sparkles which surprised me- I avoided the glitter set because I don’t like glitter- and the darker color is sort of a deep pink. I bought a kit for my friend a couple months after my purchase and discovered the build your own kit which was such a great option and she was very happy. Bummed it wasn’t available when I bought mine. I haven't used ready-to-wear nails in YEARS!! I loved wearing Kiss Nails GEL FANTASY "KGN12" (RIBBONS) Short Design Nails w/Adhesive Tabs Glue. I loved that they were affordable and lasted for about a week. I've heard mixed reviews about these lately, so I had to see for myself if they were the same quality I once loved. I like the beautiful pink beige color and that they aren't too long -they're perfect for work. There are two ways of wearing them; you can use the glue or the mega-adhesive tabs. They claim that the nails will wear for up to a week. The kit comes with 28 nails (numbered on the back), 24 Mega-adhesive tabs, pink gel glue (2g), mini file, and a manicure stick. I used glue for the nails on my left hand and the mega adhesives for my right hand. I found that the glue tube was a bit difficult to squeeze. I applied the nails and held them in place for a couple of seconds until they dried. The mega adhesives are double-sided and were very easy to apply. Results: I washed my hands, washed dishes, cooked, typed, etc. regularly. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It is Day 5 and the nails on my left hand (glue side) have stay put and lasted longer than the right hand (mega-adhesive side). The mega-adhesive nails started falling off on Day 3. ☹ I removed the adhesives and just used the glue for the rest of them.🤣. I am very satisfied and knew that the glue would pull through and work better than the adhesives. I think that the adhesives are perfect for those who want to wear nails for a special occasion, say for a weekend or for a wedding and want to remove them easily. Do you like this color?? I love it! It's an eggshell…looks like I got them professionally done. I always get compliments on my nails. Today I'm wearing short nails..in this eggshell/off white color. Great product for the money! I have tried other Kiss (as well as other brand) nail products before, and these are the best so far. They really are thicker, more like a salon acrylic. They have stayed secure and lasted longer so far as well. I planned to paint them, but they looked fine natural! As others have mentioned, in order to not get glue bubbles, you have to apply the glue to BOTH your real nail and the fake nail. I actually have gotten many compliments on these. My only complaint is that I wish the glue was easier to get out of the tube, but it's a $5ish product, and gets the job done!laurica

I am not a professional manicurist but I enjoy doing my own nails at home. I own a LED light and many gel nail polishes but haven't mastered the french tip look. I went to CVS to purchase the whole artificial french tip nail set but then I saw this kit. I followed the directions, including starting with doing your dominant hand first, which makes sense. I agree with the previous comment…yes, the brush in the gel product dried out right away and became too stiff to make smooth lines. Unfortunately, I had to exchange the first kit I bought because, though it was unopened, the gel brush was missing! I suggest opening the kit as soon as you buy it to make sure all bottles have brushes in them. I'm going to purchases nail polish brushes separately so I always have extras when one dries out. The instructions make it seem like all three bottles should come with brushes but my second kit was missing the brush for the activator. I think maybe you use the brush on the cleaner bottle for the activator interchangeably. I'm a fan and I will definitely be buying this product again.Niters
I did my nails with the white French tip 4 days ago and they're still on and still strong! I have 4 kids and all day I'm picking up toys, upending things and just constantly using my hands and none have broke yet. When I go get my nails done I always have 1 that will break after a 2 days or at most a week! And I pay $60 just for 1 to break so soon. My only complaint about these is you get one wear from each side. Need smaller sizes but you can file them smaller. Just wish more came in the pack. I am buy this again!Bernaybish
I almost returned this after reading reviews elsewhere. But I figured for $14, it's worth a shot when Ulta has a fab return policy. READ the directions IN FULL before you try this. They say to use a clean paper towel after filing for a reason- dust will make your gel look textured and less shiny (and less professional looking). Like another review said, I also wish there were more smaller sizes so that there's less waste, but I think I'll try filing the sides of those tips down to make them work. I used the French tips and filed them to a cute almond shape.KK

I have the mini macaron individual nail lamp that actually looks like a macaron and comes with a full size polish in rose gold. I bought this set expecting similar success but I was a bit disappointed. First off the mini polishes are really hard to use. The brush is so short that it makes applying the polish incredibly difficult. I know what they were going for but the design is all wrong. A taller narrow bottle would have been better if they wanted to make minis. The shorter bottle is so frustrating that alone makes me want to return it. Secondly the lamp while aesthetically cute is not practical because you have to cure the thumb separately from the fingers. This feels like a huge design flaw. I want a salon quality gel manicure at home and I don’t see why a lamp this size won’t accommodate my whole hand. The other thing is that the lamp doesn’t seem to cure as well as the single finger lamp. Now to the pros, the colors are beautiful and limited edition. According to their website they can only be acquired through this deluxe set. But again the bottle brush are a pain. The bottom of the lamp is removable for pedicures but is difficult to slide the bottom of tray in and out. Overall it’s pretty but I feel like they leaned too hard into beauty and not enough into function.shakti.g
I have used this twice now and I love it! I feel like if you set your expectations properly, it’s a great product. The thing I hate most about painting my nails is that I never have time to let them dry properly so they always dent and chip. These cure right away in the machine so even if my kids interrupt me for something, I can get up and then come back to doing my nails. I’ve had mine on for 3 days now with very minimal chipping. With normal polish by day 3 it’s halfway gone. Keep the coats thin and do 2 coats, drying in between. Is it the same quality as a salon manicure? No. But I paid the same cost as a salon manicure to be able to do it whenever I want so this is a perfect filler to take away from having to get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. Since then I've experimented with other one-step brands and had good success, but this one is the best so far. The process is super-easy, smooth application and a 30-second cure, will not chip (on me at least), does not dull out. Additionally, it is easy to remove. A couple of the colors are sheer, but all-in-all, I may just give up regular polish for Le Mini Macaron. My next step is the maxi lamp kit.Lanie

Which is fine, I added a pot of Clear to my basket as well. I absolutely adore Kiara Sky Dip products! I’ve been using them for about three years total now, and I love the quality, the results, and all of the different colors available. It’s by far my favorite dip powder out of any other powders out there. I’ve tried quite a few on the market and this one is always my go to. The colors are vibrant and very pigmented, and the quality is outstanding. I bought this kit to teach myself how to do my own nails at home. I thoroughly love anything I can do myself at home. My nails tend to crack easily, gel doesn't always keep them sturdy and going to the salon every 2 weeks to get them done (gel or dip) is not in my budget. So I bought this kit to give my nails some strength while also looking great. Plus I suck at polish. I always get it everywhere when using my non-dominant hand to paint. The included instructions are pretty basic and give you a step by step guide that you need to be successful. It also helps that Kiara Sky has a YouTube channel to show you exactly how to do the dip manicure with the starter kit so with the included instructions and YT video, it's pretty fool proof. My first manicure was good, not great but for my very first attempt, I'd say it went pretty well! There are a few tools you will need that are not included in the kit and that includes a buffer block, nail file, manicure sticks and a fluffy brush to brush off excess powder left on your fingers (I used a clean makeup brush that I no longer use and it worked fine). I also like that the kit includes a brush saver to clean the polishes included and extra brush heads incase you need to replace them (This was nice as I pulled the bristles out of the topcoat head by mistake when wiping it off after using the brush saver). Overall, this kit is awesome. It takes a few tries to get used to but once you get the hang of it, you fly through it!Talia D.

I actually have the 16 color + base and top coat kit but it wasn't available for me to select. All in all, this is a nice kit. I probably won't use some of the shades but it had the best option on Amazon for neutral + glitter combinations. The shades I am wearing in this photo are 030 (the pink), 108 (white as a base for ring finger), and 278 (gold glitter). I like that they included the base and top coat; which makes it easy to do a complete look. Warning – the bottles with the actual shades are quite small. Only the base top coat are full size. But that's okay with me since I wanted to test out the formula and sample their shades prior to committing to a full size bottle. Overall, pretty good…for now. We shall see.vicki.n

These really are good. And omg the glue is unbelievable. I know this after gluing most of my fingers together and then to the table. But for the price, hands down the best fake nails ive tried. She shows you how to make them stay on and remove them without damaging your nails. • Every time I wear these I get compliments on my mani and I always blurt out “THEYRE PRESS-ONS they’re $6!” 🙈 • They look so good and come in a ton of colors and unique designs which would be expensive and time-consuming at a salon—if any were open right now • Even with all the hand washing I do and all the skincare products I apply, these stay on my hands for 3 days before the first pops off—and it’s easy to reglue, so I can easily get a week-10 days of wear out of a set as long as I keep the adhesive tube (and “adhesive tabs”, which aren’t as strong, but work in a pinch for backup) • 2 main things: (1) flatten out the nails before you size them to your fingers (choosing a too-small nail and having it “curl up” into its original shape is one of the main reasons these pop off), and 2) apply 1-2 coats of a nail-strengthening base coat (this gives the adhesive something to hang onto/peel off if you lose a nail)ariana.a

I am so in love with these nails! The rhinestones and glitter is so sparkly and the nails are so pointy. I'm obsessed. They look like professional nails everyone keeps complementing me at work ask where I get my nails done. The glue is very good quality and hold very well. I did file my nails a bit. The fit is so perfect it curves to the shape of your finger tips. I'll be buying more of this brand.
I bought these yesterday 2/12/19 and let me tell you these are just perfect! I love the colors and the jewels. They feel very secure on my nails. I use the wonder bond brush on glue and only the nail bliss nails. Please continue making more! I love trying new styles. I will never go back to a nail salon
