for literal years, i have used the old fashioned tips that just infuriate me. they split, snap, and i fiddle with them constantly! and are NEVER RIGHT. no matter how long i shape them, they are just way to unforgiving… and i own equipment for this! just no. but THEEEESE nails! omg i have found a new life mate and its this exact brand, and shape of nails. i hated square nails particularly, they are so 90's and just cant hold up to the types of acrylic, gel paints, and builder gels that i use. being an ex nail tech. i have had to use plastic tips most of my teenage and adult life, and trust me when i say, they are not all created equal. my misery has finally ended and i can graduate to gel nails and gel sculpting with a lot more ease. the great thing about these is that i can use them as either a tip, or a full base nail if im having a lazy week. they adhere better especially with "kiss powerflex max adhesion nail glue" on a smooth buffed surface(this is important) and a good special priming or base coat (to prevent fungus, this is REALLY nescesary with this type of nail bc they have a high peak.) and then a good bonding agent before application. 5 STARS! just an added warning and prob. the only crucial thing about most clear nails like this is, you cant use an electric file tobuff the surface of the false nail. everything has to be gently hand buffed or they will fracture! otherwise they are strong and last wonderfully:)sprinkles91

I love the idea but extremely hard to get off of the polygel, they need some edges or peices out so you can pop it off easier. Loving the nail shape just not the struggle to get it off or how it toke half the polygel with it. Also may want to work a touch on the flexibility of the nail so it wouldn't be as hard. I've tried lots of French manicure nails and these ones are the best. They come in a lot if different sizes and each nail has the number written on it in the form of a pull off tag that also makes it easy to apply the nail. Because they have a slight pink colour it makes it harder to see your original nail underneath which is a positive for me as I bite my nails. Included in the pack is a wooden cuticle stick, glue and a small nail file (which is handy as I file down the fake nails). The nails look good for about 7 days and are reasonably hard wearing, but after 6/7 days the white tip peels off. The nails are £7.99 in the UK and that is a fair price for decent nails in my opinion.sarah.m

The only issue I had was getting the nails to look more symmetrical when I filed them down to almond shapes. When applying, you have to make sure you put nail glue on both your natural and fake nail to make it last! I painted it with regular nail polish and topped it with a gel glitter polish. The gel cure allowed the nails to be a lot stronger which I love. I recently had a nail biting fit. Not sure why, because I haven't bitten my nails since I was a child. Anyway, truth is my hands looked ugly. I am a professional, so my hands are seen by the public all the time. Now I am not vain, but I do know that first impressions can last a lifetime. I figured, I've raised kids, held two jobs at one time, run a home, and work now at one job. I felt that if I could do all that, I could do my own nail repair. I took a chance on Nailene's Short Pearl False nails. I gave them a 5 star rating. Ladies, these nails look awesome, they look natural, and they are easy peasey to put on! I got them on in under 10 minutes, and it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I bought extra glue, and if you just take your time, prepare your nail, (pushing down cuticle, etc) you will get a nail that fits like a glove. I do everything in them, including taking care of my 4 hug dogs and they are still on. I would say to keep an eye on any false nails for any sign of problems. Years ago I was a nail tech – so I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. I got into Nailene nails about four years ago. Finding a good tech is difficult and doing my own takes so much time. Takes me about twenty-five minutes. I line them up and make any adjustments (file a little off – make sure they fit perfectly). Buff my nails lightly. I don't use the adhesive tabs. I prefer the glue. Put the glue on my nail, apply the nail and press HARD – and hold it for about a minute.. I do this about every two weeks. They stay on for at least 9 – 10 days. I do this after I bathe and have done the facial and body lotion rituals….put on my jamas, etc. Like it says – don't get them wet for the first thirty+ minutes. I am active. I use gloves to do the dishes and kitchen. I painted the hall this morning and mopped the floors…wearing disposable gloves. They look great. Most days somebody asks me who does my nails. I soak them off with 100% acetone – takes about fifteen minutes – and let my nails go natural for a few days – then put them back on when I'm ready. Thanks Nailene. The design is absolutely gorgeous! Not sure if I just got a batch of bad glue or whatever, but the glue was really hard to get out of the tube, and we did make it a point to put a generous amount on each nail, however they didn't even last two hours. We sat for an hour after applying the nail and while I was putting my wedding dress on, two nails fell off. The photographer was able to help me hide those fingers at first but as pictures were taking place, more and more nails kept falling off. I was so surprised how well these look! Usually french tip nails show your real nails, but the pink tone on the bottom half of the nail conceals your real nail and conceals air bubbles very well! I will definitely be repurchasing! They feel strong, not flimsy, and they fit my nail beds very well! I didn’t have to do any shaping / filing to make them fit. Before covid I was an acrylic junkie. I now only use press ons have been saving a ton of money. I can make press on nails last 2-3 weeks by filing the natural nail down, prepping surface cuticles. I also wear rubber gloves to do dishes which helps preserve the nails as well. I have an office job which might help preserve my nails, but I try not to be crazy rough with them.pooja.s
I bought these thinking the would only last 24/48 hours but to my surprise they stayed on for over FIVE days! Yes, 5 days! They were easy to size to my nails and glue on with the provided glue. It also gave tips on application. I painted them with my nail polish and the polish stayed looking nice and fresh the whole time. I love these nails! I used to the nail salon once a month but after 6 years my nails were so brittle I couldn’t make acrylic, gel or dip nails stay on for longer than a week. One of my nails was even moldy! Kiss nails have been such a confidence booster. I use the glueless nails do a fun design or sticker then glue them on with Locktite super glue. They last a week without coming off and after a week they pop off like nothing. No damage no pain and no acetone! For these nails I painted Orly Love My Nails color and added some snowflake nail stickers from Amazon. I didn’t even have to file the sides or the tops of these nails for a better fit like I normally do for the smaller pack of pre-painted Kiss Nails.
