I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. I got this in a whim. My nails have been all ridged and flaking ever since the pandemic started. I did acrylic nails for a couple years and I had the bad habit of peeling them off. I love this stuff! I’ve always been a nail biter, I decided during covid I would try and break the habit and I succeeded! It tastes bad, and it makes me aware that my fingers are in my mouth. I used to bite all of my nails off and not even realize what I had done until it was too late. This is a neutral review. I think it’s wrong to blame la product like this if you don’t successfully stop biting ur nails after using this. This isn’t the real problem. Truly take the time to ask yourself why you are biting your nails in the first place. I used to tell myself, “idk, out of boredom probably.” Which actually meant, “I might have an idea but I’m genuinely unsure and avoiding wanting to find out bc it could be an issue I’m not ready to face or deal with right now.” It’s a bad habit you formed yourself over time.. something that started off harmless then progressively got worse until you realize it’s a problem. Mind over matter— especially when they’re self-soothing bad habits. You either consciously or subconsciously, but nonetheless still trained yourself into doing it, which means you can absolutely train yourself to reverse/stop the habit. I was excited when I ordered this at first bec there's a lot of positive reviews. I'm glad I received it in good packaging (although it's not sealed). I immediately used and immediately observed that even after washing my hands, my nails and cuticles still looked oiled (not in an awful way) and moisturized. I was immediately impressed. I just did not like the scent… it is very strong and felt like I cannot use this product anytime outside my home bec the smell is heavy. Amazing!!! The fist oil/strengthener I used that actually made my nails grow!!! (I tried like 5, not a dozen though) My nails were so weak they used to split, and barely grew if at all. No I actually have nails!!! Stronger and more smooth looking. Hope they will grow to be longer, will update. Also, not sure but I think they are more white looking (the tips) than they used to be. The scent is quite strong at first, tea tree smell. After the first few minutes it subsides but still noticeable scent coming from my nails. Wow! This stuff works. My three year old daughter has been sucking her index and middle fingers since she was very little. I can see that her front teeth are moving forward and she talks with a lisp. I knew I had to do something because I knew if I didn't kick the habit now she could suck her fingers after her other set of teeth come in, and since I can't take her fingers away I didn't want her to have an overbite. I did a little research and found this product. I decided to give it a try. Let me just say this. This stuff taste horrible and it lingers in the mouth. The first night I put it on my child she immediately was like aaawwwww yuk yuk!! Of course being a first time mom I felt horrible but knew it would be better for her in the long run. I figured for $3 I’d give it a try, this stuff has a very bad taste which is good cause after just 1 week of wearing it i dont even want to put my fingers anywhere near my mouth anymore! The only con is that the taste DEFINITELY tranfers. Like I’d touch my lip and if i licked my lips i could taste it. Or if i ate doritoes and i went to lick the seasoning from my fingers i could taste it. And it tastes awful and lingers in your mouth almost makes me wanna throw up but it definitely did the job of stopping me from biting my nails! Got it for my 2 year old he was sucking his thumb so excessive he was actually cutting through his skin I had to make him stop so I looked into this anti bitting polish. first time I applied I didn't realize how strong it was my son actually threw up! after I tried it I could see why, best way to describe, it's like bitting into an onion. I bought this a few months ago and used it every single day numerous times a day after washing my hands and right before bed. They grew so quickly I was shocked. I’ve never had nails so long in my life. I’ve always had a problem with nail biting. Anyway I never leaves reviews but it absolutely worked for me. Remember to apply after every had wash and before bed. I also used a cuticle oil twice a day.
This stuff only works to discourage biting while it is wet. As soon as it dries it has no flavor obnoxious or otherwise and no or odor. I'm pretty sure this must be a better product than this or they could never sell it so I assume I got a bad bottle. This product is definitely effective! I used it to help me stop biting my nails. It tastes horrible- like bitter acidic soap. I definitely did not want to put my fingers in my mouth and if I accidentally did I would know it for a good 15 minutes after. It does have a rather glossy finish which I like because it gives a clean polished look but might not be everyone’s cup of tea. My one negative is that the cap gathered a lot of product inside of it and eventually became dried out and stuck shut. I had to use hot water to loosen it up enough to open.liv.p

For 3 decades of my life I lived with severe skin issues due to undetected food sensitivities. This resulted in damaged nails and cuticles. Wow! I’ve been getting acrylics on and off since my early teens (now early 30’s) and the only time I’ve ever been able to grow my nails without them peeling or breaking, is when I had on acrylics…. It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is good for growing them out, and having some color helps hide the damage. I would like a shimmery nude color better, but that is personal preference.Merry B.
This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear. Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed. It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. I really did not have any expectations of this product when I first started using it but figured it was worth a shot. I had acrylics for over a decade and then had to stop during the pandemic. My natural nails were so damaged, brittle and peeling, I had given up the idea of having nice nails again. I've been using this product for a few weeks now and I've been pleased with it. It does what it says. You will never bite your nails again. The taste is awful and bitter but that's the point. Note, this is not a nail polish. You'll put it on and it will "disappear". It's pretty much invisible on your nails. I've not put nail polish over it so I can't tell if it's going to chip or not if you do. I'll keep on using this product and see what further results I'll get. So far, so good.Aleksandra G.
