20 Best Professional Nail Drill Kit (2024 Update)

So this is the Melody Susie Sheen Nail Drill. I ordered this in 2019. 5 STARS y'all!! It gets all five stars from me because it's just that good and still works as it did the day I bought it, 3 years ago. My bf loves for me to do his nails with this 😆 (he's a diva too). First thing I noticed when I unboxed it is it doesn't feel light, plastic-y and cheap. It has a "for professionals" feel to it. You may not know what I mean but you'll see once you order one. It works so good y'all! It comes with 6 drill bits and a case for storage, 6 sanding bands of diff grit levels, a baggie of sanding bands, user manual, the actual electric drill, and the power cord. The drill has two spins: clockwise and counter, plus it has a dial to go fast or slower. And the best part, it does an awesome job! I can't even fit everything I want to say in this review. I store mines in this cute little Victoria Secrets bag and everything fits perfectly. I highly recommend you add this to your nail kits.ashley.s

This wonderful manicure/pedicure set was well thought-out to include just about everything you might need. It comes with a cloth zippered case and has form fitting places in the form of a plastic insert which holds the device and all of the accessories neatly. The plastic insert can be removed if you prefer. The case retains its shape if you remove the insert. The inside lid of the case has a mesh pocket where you can keep the power cord and the manual. The case does not have a handle. In the case: Power cord with a micro USB end to charge up the device, Dust shield, 10 attachments, and a User Guide. No plug for the cord. The attachments are: Sapphire cone – to remove dry skin and calluses from feet and manicures the toenails. Coarse Sapphire wheel – Files nails quickly Fine Sapphire wheel – Files nails. Finer than the coarse wheel to file more gently and slowly Felt cone – For buffing and polishing Cylindrical Grinder – Grinds and smooths toenails Pointed Grinder – Removes ingrown toenails. Small for precise use. Round Sapphire Grinder – Removes corns. Use carefully. Needle-shaped Cutter – Precision tool. Used on ingrown nails or parts of dead nails. Fine Sapphire callus file – Removes calluses on the soles and heel of the feet. Crystal callus file – Use on thick, hard skin or large calluses on soles or heel. Charge up your device for about 3 hours before your first use and the charge should last about 2 hours according to the manual. You have to have your device turned off to charge it. It will flash red and green if it isn’t. It will flash with 3 blue lights if everything is OK. When the 3 blue lights are solid, it is charged. The power button on the device has 3 positions. Up, Middle, and Down. Down turns the attachment counter-clockwise and you will see a red light. Up turns the attachment clockwise and you will see a green light. The middle position is off. I thought I would not need to change the device from clockwise to counterclockwise and back again, but I found myself changing it while I was working to make it easier, so I see why this feature was included. The plus and minus buttons on the device control the speed. There are 3 speed settings. The instructions say to always start at the lowest speed and only increase the speed if needed. I never used it any faster. I thought the slowest setting was more than adequate. There is an automatic switch-off after 20 minutes. I like that the device is cordless, because I was holding it at all sorts of different angles to do my pedicure. Nail dust was flying everywhere so I attached the Dust Shield to keep it from flying up in my face. It worked great for that. It doesn’t catch the dust. It just protects it from getting it in your eyes or accidentally breathing it in. There is an LED light. If you use one of the larger attachments, it will block the light from shining where you are working. Also it was too difficult to try to always keep the light on the area I was working. I did use it though. I would stop for a second and shine the light on the spot to better see how it was looking. My First Pedicure with the Beurer: I started out using the coarse sapphire wheel on my toenails. That quickly got them filed down. I switched to the Fine Sapphire wheel to smooth the edge and “fine tune" my nail filing. Next, I used the Sapphire cone to remove my cuticles from my toenails and to decrease some of the slight thickness of the nails on my great toes. Then I switched to the Pointed Grinder to get the cuticles at the corners and to fine tune any cuticles that I had missed, as well as getting the corners of my great toe nails. I followed that up with the Felt cone to buff my toenails. I used both the Fine Sapphire Callus file and the Sapphire Cone on calluses and dry skin on my feet. I really loved the sapphire cone and how it made my rough skin feel baby smooth. I used the Sapphire Cone mostly for that. You do not have to use a lot of pressure for the attachments to work. In fact, very little pressure will be much safer while providing excellent results. Also use the attachments in circular movements, except when shortening the nails. At first, I was trying to keep my feet positioned over a small waste basket, but dust was flying everywhere, so I ended up sitting on a bath mat and letting the dust fall onto the mat, which is easily washable, or can be vacuumed. Before retirement, I was an RN and often took care of diabetics, including their foot nail care. I would have loved to have had this tool. I feel with proper use (not too much pressure and using circular motions) it would be very suitable for them with minimal risk. When I was working, only an RN was allowed to do the nail care on a diabetic’s feet. The reason for this was because of the risk of injury using the sharp cutting tools that were the only things available at the time. I love this product! I had to say goodbye to the nail salon during the past 18 months due to the pandemic, and I was in dire need of a new pedicure set. I used to own an electric nail care set and it was a good one that lasted for several years, but since it was powered by electricity, I always had to be tethered to the electrical outlet which was not always convenient. This one is rechargeable and has many other nice features as well. One of the overall design features that I like the best is that the Nail Pro Premium by beurer of Germany comes in a nice zip case along with everything you need to groom your nails, whether you need a manicure or a pedicure. The product is of a high-quality design and comes with 10 different sapphire and felt attachments that seem to meet all needs for nail care of manicuring or pedicures. This item was a replacement item for one that I broke.I dropped that handle and bent the tip which is a N0-No as it would not hold the burrs straight and they wobbled.The handle was deemed completely useless. It is almost as expensive to replace the tip if you can find one as it is to purchase a new unit.Since the unit belonged to someone else who was working in the shop. and it was part of her 34lively hood34 that I had destroyed, I bought her a new unit.She uses it every day in her work.She is very pleased with my purchase from Amazon..Barbara

I probably could have used a 4 step ladder rather than a 3 stepper but that was my mistake, not the supplier's. The instruction sheet was almost useless since the parts listing was in English and the actual instructions were in both Chinese and French, not English. I was able to install it by looking at the pictures in conjunction with the parts list. Fortunately, It was not very complicated, although I had to buy large wood screws to complete the installation (anchoring the ladder to the dock). I was aware of the need to buy screws for that purpose and all of the other necessary was included. So far the pontoon/dock ladder is working as expected so I have no complaints post purchase & installation.ronfo_79

Sometimes buying cheap is more expensive. Speed adjuster is not the best. Don’t get me wrong is doing it’s job NOW because it’s new but I don’t think it’s going to last long . Now I’m stuck deviating if should return it , or just see how long my money will last .Zz

This is the worst drill on the market for convenient nail drills. I waited patiently for this to come and when it did let me tell. Let’s point out the first fact that the cord isn’t as long as they describe at all, the Emory pieces are very weak and collapse from the slightest compression, the drill is so weak my 90yr old grandmother could use this with absolutely no harm. My vibrator has more power than this drill. It’s not worth the money at all and the marketing information is false for the product. The reviews have to be made up because there is no way this device is rated a 4 out of 5. It’s a joke! Definitely sending back immediately!Shauna

This is the best drill i have owned. For the price I’m impressed. It truly reaches 20,000 rpm but you should never use a drill at that speed. I do find that if too much pressure is applied to the nail the drill will stop which is a bummer for the motor and a blow to the perception of the quality. I can’t bring myself to spend 400 on a drill so this is the next best thing for those who would like something for personal or commercial use. Also, be sure to dust off the pen after every use to prevent clogging and this drill will last you a long time!Mickayla

I love the fast spreed of this drill and I have never had any issues with using this drill . I purchased this e-file after much research. Im not a professional, have been getting augments for two decades, and recently began doing my own nails with a dip system. I think this efile is perfect for my purposes. It is not appropriate for natural nails — its for acrylic dip, gel, polygel…etc. Also, I use a fluffy brush to clear the bit and shaft of dust before changing bits, in hopes of keeping dust out of the motor to extend the life e-file. A lot of complaints about efiles seem to stem from the root cause of users not practicing good hygiene with their files, resulting in the file becoming non functional too soon.Pamela

This is the perfect do it yourself home professional manicure and pedicure kit. Although you can use it on yourself, I found that it is much relaxing if someone does it for you. I originally got this to try on my wife and she loves getting the pampered treatment at home while watching TV or just soaking in the tub. It's pretty light weight compared to others products. Comfortable to hold and a cool thing about this is that it comes with a nice looking carrying case. Also includes seven attachments that can be applied or detached very easy with out any struggling. I can't even begin to tell you how much money we have saved already from not going to the nail salon. Its also so simple to use on yourself that I have started to give my own toe nails a little TLC if my wife is to tired or at work, and yes it does great on construction feet. It has a bright LED light and can rotate clockwise or counter so you can use it if your right handed or a lefty.lmzm

The Beurer Electric Manicure & Pedicure kit comes in a compact carrying case where everything fits neatly inside. When I first looked at the 7 attachments I was a bit overwhelmed. Never having used anything like this, I was afraid I was going to sand my toes and finger nails right off my body. There is an instruction booklet that explains each attachment. The machine itself is not too heavy and can be easily positioned. The attachments can be used forward and in reverse. There are several speed choices and there is a lighted gauge that shows what speed you are in. This kit is safe for diabetics. I started off slowly with the cone attachment to remove callouses from heels and toes. It works like a charm! I have super smooth feet! I am going to practice and venture out and try all the attachments but for now knowing that I can smooth my feet and safely trim my husbands crocodile toenails is awesome.Sissy

I received this Manicure / Pedicure set from the Spark Reviewer Program for free in exchange for an honest review. Taking better care of my feet is one of my top priorities this year so when saw this come up for review I jumped on it. For the cost of one pedicure at a salon, I can do a better job myself anytime at home with this machine. Also, I don't have to endure embarrassment from a pedicurists. My heels, which had thick callouses, are now almost baby-soft and my thickened toenails have been thinned out. My feet look a lot better after having used this machine just once. It is a very good size and quite comfortable to use. Many attachments to accomplish all manicure and pedicure needs in the comfort of your own home. This is my second medicool file. My first one was bought second hand. Its been good to me for 10 years with regular handpiece maintenance. It will probably be my go to file as long as the company exists. This is a second file for my home business.For the record it comes with a grey handpiece cradle, the purple is my personal one. I recommend medicool hands down. Easy to change bits and the perfect weight handpiece, IMOamandazing

Has great power, had two of them now and with light use since 2015 both of the drills will not lock/release the bits. Blew them off as recommended. To expensive for what you get. Can buy similar electric files 5 times less. I do not recommend this for nail clients.Jerry

3 1/2 stars from me. Its ok but the Kupa UP200 is better, even though the Kupa is only 20,000rpms it doesnt overheat unlike the Medicool. The medicool over heats and the hand piece although light in weight is bulky in my hand because of the mechanism that allows you to change the carbide bits protrudes out a little bit. The Kupas handpeice is a bit heavier but it is more stream lined and made to be sturdier and doesnt overheat. The medicool is compact but still does not beat the Kupa. I am a professional nail technician, if my job requires me to do several acrylic nails fills or full sets in a row then I need something that wont heat up and get hot in my hand. I will be returning this as soon as I can and just shell out 150ish more for the Kupa. I own a medicool pro power pack that is rechargeable and though that the electric file for the table would be just as good, it is not. My portable power pack is better then this except it needs to be recharged which was why I bought the one for the table. I have included my coworkers Kupa and the medicool for comparasion. In our work stations there are holes in it so we can put our hand pieces in and mine does not fit in it but hers does, hence the reason why I say the medicools hand piece is bulky and not streamlined.TZE-LE

I was hesitant to purchase this, but since there were no nail salons open, I decided to give it a shot. This exercise is effective. It's powerful enough to do a fantastic job on your nails. I do my own gel nails at home. Unfortunately, taking off gel polish requires patience if you don't want to damage your nails, and I dread the amount of time it takes. I purchased this drill hoping that I could sand away the top layers of the gel polish and get the remaining polish to soak off quicker. I am happy to say that it exceeded my expectations!!Adriano
