Very good support from the manufacturer! I was using Steico not for the first time. We did not glue or tapped anything, just laid the boards and installed snap vinyl on top. It comes in boards and in my opinion, it is easier to handle compared to rolls. Installed for over two months now and the flooring feels very stable and quiet. There was a little bit of green dust during the installation, we vacuumed the whole thing and it was not an issue anymore. Overall, happy with the choice and would recommend it.YP

The flooring was used on my 4 season porch, and I absolutely love it. Previously I had indoor/outdoor carpeting. But I have a cat with long nails and when I recently put new carpeting in after repainting the room, I realized I did the wrong thing. Not the cat's fault, but when he walked over it, his nails would catch. He's not good having his nails clipped so they tend to be long and sharp. With my new flooring the room looks great…matches with my white bead board on the walls and is easy to keep clean. It is also easy on the feet to walk on. When needed it is very easy to accurately score straight lines and curves into the moisture proof side to use as guides when needing to cut pieces or strips of this product into specific shapes or lengths, and then use a scissor to cleanly cut though the cloth backing. We have found it to be a very good product to use as carpet pads. Our Quiet walk rug pads do not creep out from under the carpet pieces. Such padding even stays hidden under smaller type area rugs. Only problem I have found is that the cloth backing, when this product is used under the smaller sized area rugs, does not prevent such rugs from sliding. It is nice, though, that the product when cut and taped into the shape of an effective carpet pad does not move or slip specifically, when people walk on my 4×5 feet and larger room sized wool rugs. So over all, I am very pleased with how effectively this product stays in place, when used as pads under my larger carpets. We also installed quietwalk in three rooms and a Hallway where we had first installed a thin-ply moisture resistant wood underlayment that had been nailed on top of a solid wood subfloor. On top of that quiet walk we then had installed 5/16th inch thick, 2 1/2 inch wide slats of prefinished Brazilian walnut flooring. this installation of quietwalk has assisted our prefinished flooring to appear more level and has proven to us the product's claim that it provides for quiet walking over our wood floors. We are also very happy to know that this product's moisture proof layer has proven effective for us. it has proven effective to help prevent humidity and any potential chemical or organic vapors occuring in the living area from being absorbed down into the quietwalk underlayment. The underlayment was nearly has hard to cut as had been posted under an earlier review. I would have like a little thicker material but had to bow to the manufacturer's recommendation. I'm in Charleston, SC so we have to wait through the rainy season to see if keeps the moisture down like it's supposed to do. It comes in 33 ft x 3 foot rolls and had very little scrap so that size works well. So far it was good value and about $15 a roll less than the box stores. I ordered the first roll on line – which it took a few days for them to tell me it was "in." The store had some in stock the whole time. I put four of the rolls in the back of a Mustang.
