I was thrilled to find this product. When I finally got around to trying it, I had a difficult time opening the bottle and when I did get the top unscrewed the bottle was broken. I'm unsure if the product leaked into the cap when it was manufactured or what happened. Since it was outside of the 30 day return policy I've had to keep it upright, and in a safe place so it doesn't tip over. The brush was also all matted, so when I do use the product I use a different brush I have. Occasionally when I paint this product on I'll get a thick hardened piece of the product on my nail so have to wipe it off. The product when it does go on nice and is set with the UV light is great. I am assuming I got a bad bottle.
The top coat works really well and is one of the many products I use to make press on nails ( I am NailedByRachel on IG). This item isn’t perfect but it’s really good if you’re looking for a clean product. This top coat works best with a thin layer of polish. Wait at least 10 minutes for the first layer to dry. (I know it completely defeats the purpose, but continue reading.) Apply the top quick dry coat slowly and in a big glob (that’s how it’ll come out anyway). While I don’t find that it dries quicker than normal, I do find that it works great for longer lasting nail polish. I still have a lot of product left, but unfortunately the polish is now very thick and peels off instantly. I like some of Ella+Mila’s other products, but this particular one is giving me trouble, and I keep trying it and getting the same result. There are pros and cons. Pros: I like that it is free of seventeen harmful chemicals, including formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. It’s also cruelty free. The product dries very quickly, which is great. The little bottle is super cute and I love their elephant branding. It’s also made in the USA which is nice because that’s where I’m from and it’s harder these days to find products actually made here. Cons: It’s supposed to be chip resistant, but they don’t mention peel resistant. Everytime I use this within seconds after drying it starts to peel up in little spots. It looks like glue all over the nail polish, and it actually causes the nail polish to peel up, even really good brands that usually stay on even without a base or top coat. It’s clear and nice in the bottle and lasts ages longer than OPI top coats, but it goes on cloudy. It’s just really not very usable, which is disappointing because of all the pros. But when it comes down to the main function it just doesn’t work so I have to give it 2 stars.

All done and lasts 3-4 weeks until grown out and time to do it over. Getting it off is a task, however I have found that an electric mail file does the trick efficiently. I had been going back and forth between gel top coats from Gelish (which you have to wipe off with alcohol after the final coat), dip powder top coats (not gel-like finish) and the polygel top coat from Makartt (the end result was very inconsistent, sometimes it dried off and you wouldn’t need to wipe off, other times it never dried but I did try using this one as a top coat for dip powder manicures so it could be it dries well with polygel only). Then I saw this set on Amazon. The reviews were not encouraging as there were many customers that had purchased other products from the same brand (PH Bond and Primer) that claimed the product had burned through their nail and had caused fungus and the skin under their nails to burn. Personally, this is my first time using this product from this brand and I am in love with the results! This is exactly what I was looking for, a base and top coat I could use for any of the different manicures I choose for the day. Cures with UV light and does not need to wipe off, this came off far more gorgeous than I thought it would look, no secondary effects and the bottles do come with a good amount. They were also relatively cheap (run for around $10-$12 for the set on Amazon). Save yourself the trouble and the money on going for the expensive ones when this brand will do the same for much less. I actually like the Seche Vive a bit better than the Seche Vite. It is thicker, which I like, but truthfully you probably only get to use half the bottle because it becomes very viscous and hard when you get down to the bottom. I usually pick Seche up on sale or at an off-price retailer, so I don't mind that I am unable to use all the product. It gives a plump, gel effect and lasts longer than any other topcoat I've tried. I’d ordered this to try rather than continue using the Essie Gel Couture top coat that I’ve fallen in love with. I’d hoped that it would give the same shine and level of protection against chipping and wearing off. This provides a co parable shine however it doesn’t protects against chips or wear anything like Essie. The polishes also took extremely long to dry, especially for brand new, first opening. Even after allowing 20 min between coats and an additional 30 to apply top coat, the polish was still surprisingly soft and easily damaged/shifted. Eventually using drying spray still did not improve the situation much. My first use of this polish looked mediocre at best, but a beautiful color. I have used the China Glaze Matte Magic before and that was what I loved. I couldn't find it at my local Ulta so i opted for the Orly one. After using it, the finish is different than the China Glaze one. At first I thought it might be because the top coat didn't dry yet, but that wasn't it. I agree with the other reviews on here saying the finish is like a satin matte finish. It isn't entirely matte like the China Glaze one. Not saying that the finish is bad, I like it because it gives me a different finish and an alternative to regular nail polish finishes. However, with that being said, after applying this matte finish I did experience bubbling on my nails which was never an issue for me. I thought that was odd. Not entirely sure why it bubbled. Also, the China Glaze Matte Magic dries my nails in like 10 seconds whereas this one takes a bit longer. I know this because typically I use a fast drying top coat or the matte magic and the next day there are no indentions on my nails. With this matte coat, on 1 of my nails there was a indention because it didn't dry quickly enough. I have used Seche Vite top coat for years. I recently got a three pack from Amazon and they are awful. I’ve ordered from their store on Amazon several times before and haven’t had this big of an issue. I’ve kind of always had the shrinkage problem with Seche Vite, but now it looks worse (the lines on the side of my nails where you can see where the top coat is on top of the color). Now though it lifts up the nail polish and chips off in sheets. I make sure to not get the top coat on my skin so there isn’t a lot to lift up, but still it lifts up on the sides of my nails and around my cuticles the next day. I’m also getting more chips, again the next day. I don’t know if this is just a batch problem, but I feel like I may stay clear of Seche Vite for a while. I ordered Glisten Glow’s top coat after I read amazing reviews so hopefully that will work out better!kari.w
I've been using this product for the past two years and it's been my go to top coat . My nail polish will last for about 5-7 days , while using this top coat. I've used other top coats in the past but this one is the best one. Also, it provided a nice finish to your nails after polishing. Get this top coat and you won't regret it. I just wished the formula would stay the same even when you're running low on the product. I hope the company looks into this because it's my only complaint. The top coat should be usable until the bottle is empty .
This top coat really is fast drying, but not only that, it dries to a hard lacquered finish. The best thing about it is that it's meant to be used over still wet nail polish; it's far more convenient to go straight into your top coat than having to wait minutes for each coat to dry down. The only issue this polish has is that it shrinks. You have to be careful to completely cover all areas where polish is with this top coat, because otherwise there will be a line of demarcation where the top coat has shrunk a bit. i cant say enough good things about opi. i use so many of their products. this product is a 3 in 1. it works as a base coat, a top coat, and a strengthening formula. it’s clear, but it looks so good on the nail. it’s strengthens my nails really well. and it’s easy to apply other coats to it if you want. or stickers. would definitely recommend!jennifer.f
If I don't use this my nail polish always smudges and won't dry. I always apply a base coat then 2 coats of colour followed by this OPI RapiDry Top Coat. It dries everything in less than 1 minute and then I can go about my day. I still make sure that I wear open toed shoes the day I paint my toenails as I'm paranoid of it smudging but it really does dry it rapidly. It also makes my nail polish colour look really shiny and prevents the edges from chipping. If you are looking for something that really does dry rapidly then I would recommend this to you.
What happened to this formula! This product used to be the bee's knees…it is awful now! Such a waste of money. It is so thick and goopy…I've tried 3 bottles recently, in hopes it was a bad batch or something…and all were junky! It ruins your painted nails, smudged, streaked and bubbles. Even if you use A TON of product, and get lucky enough for it to dry…there are still going to be tiny bubbles. Also, it literally doesn't dry through with a base + 2 color coats. I used this last night for the first time. I had done a design that I was really proud of, but when I put on the topcoat, it immediately smeared the design, even though the polish underneath had had plenty of time to dry. I went to bed an hour later, assuming it would be fine since this bills itself as a quick drying top coat. I woke up with sheet imprints and one nail with the polish pushed and crumpled so there was a large bare patch. I’m very disappointed in the product – maybe it’s just a bad batch, but it performed as if I’d not even bothered. Even hours later, the promised “super-hard finish” has not developed. If you want a quick-drying topcoat that has a hard finish that preserves designs, get something else.
I was really excited to try this top coat. I have quite a collection of them and am always looking to see what’s new. I was not overly impressed with this top coat. It looked flawless at first but the following day is when I started noticing trouble when the tips of my nails were already losing their color underneath and starting to show signs of wear. I know this is bound to happen but I take very god care of my nails and always wear gloves when washing dishes or using hot water for cleaning. Besides that, I thought it was a lovely polish that was super shiny. I also was unimpressed with how long my nails took to dry afterwards. It definitely wasn’t the quickest. This was my first Orly product to ever try and it definitely did not disappoint me. I had seen this brand at target but I didnt want to buy it and not like it so I just always stuck with Sally Hanson. Even though I dont necessarily like Sally's products I tend to buy and go with what i know instead of venturing out, I pain that on being a cancer. Last year my nails were in bad shape and I finally took the risk, not because i was brave but because the products I usually got were stole out of. This made my nails hard and felt good. It never yellowed or chipped and this bottle lasted me months which is rare because the one I bought of Sally's never made it a month before it was so goopy I couldn't apply it anymore. I really adore this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Too Coat in "Unicorn". Right in the bottle is a mix of beautiful fine shimmer in different colors to give a "unicorn" effect, which looks incredible in the sun, and if I had to describe a unicorn, it would be sparkly, magical and colorful! I used this top coat over Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in "Sugar Fix" and it worked perfectly to add a gorgeous suble shimmer of colors that made me want to constantly look at my nails in different directions to capture the shimmer and color. Unfortunately, the camera cannot the capture the true beauty and sparkle of this unicorn top coat like your eye can in real life. This top cat would go great with any and all colors to give your color a little sparkle and flair. Lasted all week and removal was easy as well. I definitely would recommend it.
I got this product complimentary from Influenster and sally hansen in exchange for my honest review. I got the color sugar fix and the topcoat color of Crystal. The colors were definitely pretty so that was a nice plus. As you can see in the pics, the second pic shows each color with one coat. It is very sheer so definitely you need two coats for it to completely cover your nails. The third pic shows each nail with two coats which covered nicely. The pointer nail has the sugarvfix with the Crystal topcoat on top and it is very pretty with a nice sparkle. It dries pretty quickly too which is another plus. What I did not like about these is that the polish scrapes off your nail pretty easily so there was not a long period of staying power. Also, the wand of the brush is like a flat piece of glass with the bristles at the end. I personally did not like this and found it difficult to get the wand in and out of the bottle. I much prefer round wands which go in and out of the bottle much easier. The polish and the topcoat were also not super shiny like other polishes. I found them both to be a little matte, than super shiny. I prefer more shiny and glossy. Just my preference though. The polish did come off easy with nail polish remover which was nice. This base is a light blue/periwinkle type color. It is thicker consistency so it doesn't chip as much as acrylic or regular paint. the color is bold and beautiful! This polish lasted so long on my nails doing my daily work and tasks and didn't chip! It is much thicker lacquer due to it being gel and chip resistant. It went beautifully with the top coat Crystal to make it holo! Base coat was two top coat three with five min dry time in between 10/10lindsey.h

Ok, so I have to admit I was a bit skeptical to try this top coat as I had previously tried the "non wipe top coat" from Kiara Sky and it did not work out well for me (see review on that top coat for issues I had). This top coat is perfect. When applying it appeared that bubbling would occur.. however after a few seconds before setting under UV light the bubbling disappeared (not sure if the gel reacts wit the air in such a way that it comes out, but had no issues after a few seconds and curing under UV Light). Would highly recommend this non-wipe top coat over the other from Kiara Sky.Breanne D.
I do my own dip nails and struggled a bit with the dip top coat. I found this top coat and immediately fell in love! It’s super shiny and is also a no-wipe top coat. I got this free about a year ago and will absolutely be buying when I run out. The nails on my ring fingers are thinner than my other nails and used to break frequently, with this they feel just as strong as my regular nails and I can actually grow them out. All of my nails break much less than they used to and only when I really jam them. It works well as a base coat (longevity of my Mani is similar to seche vite or opi base coats) and is also great by itself. It makes my nails shiny and healthy looking. Wow! I’ve been getting acrylics on and off since my early teens (now early 30’s) and the only time I’ve ever been able to grow my nails without them peeling or breaking, is when I had on acrylics…. I received this recovery formula in a fab fit fun box and decided to try it (fresh off a set of acrylics, incredibly thin and damaged with ridges and no length left) and within a week I noticed my nails getting longer. I’ve been using for a little over a month and the results are unbelievable. First time in my life I’ve been able to grow my natural nails! This is finally doing something. This is finally giving my nails the strength and nourishment it needs to grow and be strong. I don't know how people would stamp without this! It has never smudged any of my stamping. Try it without. Lol. You'll want to cry when your crisp stamps turn into a messy blur with one tiny swipe. The formula is exactly as described: thinner and not made to be a shiny, smooth shell. It's a top coat that seals your hard work and does it's job perfectly! The only issue I had was adding a thicker top coat over it, but that was my fault. I chose my regular favorite insta-dry (always my go to with kids and pets in my house), and used it after an hour of the smudge- free drying. Too soon. I didn't factor in that the formula is be more alcohol-heavy and it ate the smudge-free and ruined the stamping. If I let the smudge-free dry overnight, I can top it with zero issue.Katherine E.
Good: didn't smudge! Yay! Negative: tries feeling tacky, when I put a traditional topcoat on top of it, it had a vinyl-like finish that "flexes" rather than a glassy finish, and feels thick and dents and nicks. I didn't like them at all at first. My daughter actually figured out how to do it. When I did get the gist, I noticed the mess and stress it causes me. I like the idea, if the process actually worked and looked like the stamps, then it was okay. But if the image didn't transfer over, it looked weird. The top coat is rough if it isn't put on correctly and then didn't last much more than a few days before it began to wear away. I wouldn't recommend them if you don't have patience and don't mind everything being covered in polish and like strange looking almost stars on your nails for all to see. i got the bonder base, a few colors, and a shiny top coat on the $5 sale. it took forever to ship, and even longer to get to the east coast, and i kind of gave up on this package. it finally came and the manicure i did went almost a full week without a chip! but, the lacquer is translucent. i needed three coats and it’s still not perfect. definitely worth $5!! would 100% buy again at this price point. also, i like the application brush better than both essie and OPI.TMB1

I was thrilled to find this product. When I finally got around to trying it, I had a difficult time opening the bottle and when I did get the top unscrewed the bottle was broken. I'm unsure if the product leaked into the cap when it was manufactured or what happened. Since it was outside of the 30 day return policy I've had to keep it upright, and in a safe place so it doesn't tip over. The brush was also all matted, so when I do use the product I use a different brush I have. Occasionally when I paint this product on I'll get a thick hardened piece of the product on my nail so have to wipe it off. The product when it does go on nice and is set with the UV light is great. I am assuming I got a bad bottle.
The top coat works really well and is one of the many products I use to make press on nails ( I am NailedByRachel on IG). I am so impressed with this top coat! I previously used Seche Vite but I got annoyed with the shrinking so I decided to give this product a shot. I applied a base coat of Seche Vite Base Coat, 2 layers of OPI polish and topped it with this Nina Top Coat. It's been exactly a week since I applied that and there is hardly a chip in sight. I can't believe it. I used to be able to get to 5 days with Seche Vite and even then I had chips after 3 days. I should be able to get at least another couple days out of this at-home-manicure!

I have used Seche Vite top coat for years. I recently got a three pack from Amazon and they are awful. I’ve ordered from their store on Amazon several times before and haven’t had this big of an issue. I’ve kind of always had the shrinkage problem with Seche Vite, but now it looks worse (the lines on the side of my nails where you can see where the top coat is on top of the color). Now though it lifts up the nail polish and chips off in sheets. I make sure to not get the top coat on my skin so there isn’t a lot to lift up, but still it lifts up on the sides of my nails and around my cuticles the next day. I’m also getting more chips, again the next day. I don’t know if this is just a batch problem, but I feel like I may stay clear of Seche Vite for a while. I ordered Glisten Glow’s top coat after I read amazing reviews so hopefully that will work out better!kari.w
I have been using this top coat for the past 8 years ever since I discovered it. It truly makes you drying time much shorter and makes your nail color last for at least 7days and way beyond that. At some point I did start to phase out my nail polish collection to get rid of polishes that were not at least 5 free and tried other top coats but nothing could compare. Unfortunately it is not 5 free but to me it is still worth the risk. I wear it on my acrylic nails so I guess there is less chances of negative effects? I'm hoping because I don't think I could give up this top coat and I dont think it would be as effective without the bad chemicals that prevent it from being a 5 free polish. I guess people just have to be aware of it and make the decision for themselves.helen.l
I've been using this product for the past two years and it's been my go to top coat . My nail polish will last for about 5-7 days , while using this top coat. I've used other top coats in the past but this one is the best one. Also, it provided a nice finish to your nails after polishing. Get this top coat and you won't regret it. I just wished the formula would stay the same even when you're running low on the product. I hope the company looks into this because it's my only complaint. The top coat should be usable until the bottle is empty .
