You buy something like this to enhance or for costume wear. In my honest opinion, this is not realistic as real hair and will look like a wig. My biggest negative point would be that if you comb through the tangles (it does tangle easily), a good amount of hair does come off. Maybe because it's new, I do not know. The other minor thing, you can't really shape the wig at all, but I didn't expect it would do this anyway. I like to dress up and mainly bought this because I have natural, very long dark hair and wanted to try "red" without dyeing my hair. I do think this is an all around nice wig and it was a great price..included a wig cap and comb. But it always was a one time purchase for me and I never expected this to be or look like the real thing. Ordered this for a Naraku cosplay since Inuyasha is experiencing a bit of a Renaissance. This wig is very thick, and VERY soft. I almost feel bad that I’m going to have to rough it up a bit to get the texture I need because it’s so pretty. The skin top covers a large margin of the front/fringe area and it also has wefts along the underside of the front so if you part the fringe it doesn’t do that thing where you can see the cap through the bangs. The wig is also thick enough that I was able to experiment with pulling it into a partial ponytail, but the hair is very heavy so you need a strong elastic tie to really keep it in place. All in all I’m very pleased and it shipped to me in amazing time considering the lockdown. Love it!Samael H
