So I bought this to bleach a wig that I bought. I previously bleached the wig the same day but it still wasn’t bright enough. I used three boxes and the hair was long and I didn’t leave it on for the recommended time on the instructions. This did exactly what I needed it to do. I bought this because I LOVE Dark and Lovely’s Hair dyes for women of color, so when I saw this I had to get a box!!! Works well (works waaaaaaay better for virgin hair of course) even though my hair has been blonde to black to blonde a few times. This kit still lifts the color!!! like??? okay purr. Did a great job at bleaching the hair. Color came out even, however hair was EXTREMELY dry after rinsing…… BUT that said, the toner included infused so much moisture back into my strands I was thoroughly impressed. It did relax my curl pattern slightly, however all my natural curls are still intact. I did half my hair using the bottle in the kit, which was fine, but the other half I put in a bowl and applied with a applicator brush (just because it seemed quicker and would give a more even bleach job). Con- Not worth 1 star at all. Wouldve rated it 0 stars if I could. Came less than half full with leakage. Bought the real one on amazon before and compared. This one was fake. I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid thekiyah.j
This glue holds your lace very well. I don't have to worry about it moving or slipping. I used 4 layers and took my time to let it dry. Be very careful not to let any of your baby hairs touch the glue. Beginners should cut the lace before applying and draw a faint line to guild where the glue should be because it's strong stuff. THIS paired with kinky curly is what helped me get those fairy knots from postpartum shedding out, without pulling out my remaining “viable” hair strands. Would give less but won't let me. Purchased this to remove semi permanent box dye. Read instructions followed them exactly. Never did I see on the box it was bleach. Specifically said to remove hair dye to your original hair color. Basically I just bleached my whole head for 20 minutes. Smell awful. Can't get the smell out of my hairTiffany Johnson
Took the light pink out of my blonde highlights very quickly! I could literally see the pink disappear as I worked it through my hair. I bought it again months later to lighten my already blonde highlights, worked well once again 🙂 I will say since I saw how strong this product was I worked section by section rinsing as I went and did not leave the product on my hair for a very long amount of time for less damage. This for lightening so it will not turn your brown hair blonde (I’ve been trying) but it will continue to lighten your hair to blonde each time you use it. They recommend waiting 2 weeks or more between lighten sessions.Fay
First of all it didn’t do anything but made my hair and bathroom smell like death. I made sure to do lots of research before even spending my money on this crap and cake to the conclusion that it would in fact work on the color I had. I tried reaching out to customer service because it says 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website. How convenient that she claimed that my specific hair color wouldn’t work with their product (even though I know it was supposed to otherwise I wouldn’t have wasted my money.) she didn’t want to help at all.
