I've been using Too Faced Chocolate Brow-nie Cocoa Powder Brow Pencil for years now. I've worked out in it, done hard landscaping labor, and this stuff stays put. I also use a setting spray but I only recently starting using that. This product is great, I only wish they had more colors. If you're looking for a clean, defined brow this is the product you want. Perfect taupe color for my fair-skinned blonde coloring. Pencils have nice slant which lasts throughout life of pencil and perfect width as well. No breakage problems with these like I've had with other QVC brands of pencils. The duo is really good bargain and each pencil lasts forever. I just opened my second one 3 weeks ago and I had placed this order originally sometime last summer. The color stays intact all day, even when sweaty, as long as you don't rub sweat of your brows, just pat gently. I have always used the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil and have nothing bad to say about it – except how quickly I go through the product! Since it was only lasting me a month, an Ulta employee recommended I switch to this Too Faced Brow pencil instead. So far I really like it! First off, it smells like coco powder which is a wonderful bonus, plus it is double sided with a brow pencil and brow brush. I also love that the brow pencil is angled and a bit wider than your typical pencil – it is shaped like an angeled brow brush! It really allows for smooth and easy application, plus I am finding that this pencil is already lasting me much longer than my Anastasia one! The only thing I am not loving is the color is a bit off for my brows. Although it is taupe, it feels a bit more of a light brown. Luckily for a blonde I have darker eyebrows so it works well, but if you have lighter eyebrows I would recommend trying another product instead!

Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. Additionally the back piece is huge and doesn’t sit on the back of my head right. It feel like a large hat is fallIng off my head in the back. These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. When I wear the 1b color people think it’s all my hair. I’m trying the burgundy and copper colors to see if I like as much as the darker tones. Minimal shedding typical for synthetic hair. Don’t understand the bad reviews about no hold… you have to apply product, wait till it gets tacky and then it works like magic and that’s when you should style them.. it’s exactly like knowing how to use for eyelashes.. my brows are so stubborn I never thought I could get anything to hold them up. Bought this as I was looking for a new brow gel/brow soap product to try, read the reviews and many people said it was great… tried it and there’s NO hold. I don’t have thick brows and similar products work fine but this one is terrible, my eyebrows did not stay in place from the get go; even after I used my finger multiple times to smooth them down whilst drying. This piece seemed very promising but the pieces do not have much security. You will need to add Bobby pins to make it feel somewhat secure. These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. When I wear the 1b color people think it’s all my hair. I’m trying the burgundy and copper colors to see if I like as much as the darker tones. Minimal shedding typical for synthetic hair. This is really easy to use for applying to brows the applicator brush and the comb and brush on the other end work so well. This product is also much less expensive than other prestige brands for brows that are similar, but nyx includes better tools to work with than the tart and the Anastasia brow liquid products I have used. This is just perfect.Why didn't anyone come up with this before? Lots of shades to choose from but they tend to be on the dark side…I have taupe and that is dark enough..believe me. When applied the products stays adjustable and moldable for long enough. It's easily applied and perfected with a brush or q tip and really fills sparse parts like nothing else. When I’m in a rush I prefer using brow mascara or gel. My eyebrows are thick and curly and when I get them done this brow gel is one of my favorites because it makes them thicker and more prominent in my makeup routine. If that’s the look I’m going for. It’s easy to wipe off if I make a mistake and doesn’t cake on my eyes. It also doesn’t smudge but you have to wait about a minute for it to fully dry and set. The brush fits my brows and it it’s so small or large. I can get the edges of my hairs and control how dark I want them by going over them multiple times. I love that control.lauryn.h
A good brow gel doesn't have to be high end. I've repurchased this one several times over the years because it is reliable and makes my brows look great and will probably continue to. For context, I have very dark brown brows (cool, almost black) that are pretty full on their own, but benefit from a little filling in. I use this alone on simpler makeup days, or I use it over my ABH powder or pencil for a bolder look. Either way this stuff is great! The formula has no fibers and the Pigment is perfect, not too strong or too weak. One tube lasts forever so it is very cost effective. I've used the shades Brunette and Black and I prefer the Black. It isn't truly black like regular mascara, more like a true cool, deep brown, which is what I need for my coloring.Tasha.ll
I don't mind paying a lot for brow products. The only makeup I wear daily is brow products and mascara. I have bought eye brow mascaras and waxes from all the big Sephora brands and honestly, NYX's brow mascara is better and cheaper. And it gives me the feathered brows look easier than all the new brow waxes Patrick Ta and Anastasia BH have put out. Especially as someone with light brown sparse lashes. The clear waxes give me feathered brows but do nothing for the fact mine a sparse. This mascara adds to the powder I use to fill in my brows and it covers the few greys I am starting to get in my brows. I do comb my brows out with a clean spoolie after I apply the product but other than using too much this is pretty goof proof. I use it as a last step in my brow routine. Highly recommendAnne3000

Couldn’t even get any product out, this thing was as dry as the Sahara. No shaker inside to aid dispensing. The tip is super fine but uh… with nothing in it it’s just a scratchy, flabby little nub that scrapes across my browbone. Cool if you’re into that, I guess, but I bought this to flick on some brow hairs, not enjoy a scraping sensation. Gotta say, I don’t recommend this. Maybe if you can get it outside of online ordering and can vouch for a functioning product before you buy, but online? Don’t risk it.Sean
The tip is fantastic – it's tiny and makes the best feathered strokes *on my hand*. I can't get it to release any color on my brows. I don't know if it's because my eye brows are too greasy, or if the pen can't work if it's not pointed down, or if just hates the skin on my face? I don't know. I get these perfect little strokes on my hand but when I try it on my eyebrow NOTHING happens. I am going to try this again with a bit of powder on my brows and super-shaking the pen and see if it helps. If I can't get it to work it's not even worth the three stars I just gave it. The size and shape of the tip on this pen are amazing. The color is perfect for my brows and the formula lasts a lot longer than when I use powder. But I’ve used this pen 5 times max and it seems as though it’s already dried out. No color deposits when I try to do my brows. I tried shaking it, but ink just flew out of a joint where the body of the pen meets the part that holds the tip, but the felt tip didn’t actually fill with any product. I’m curious if anyone else has had this issue, because if they don’t actually dry up after a few uses, they’re amazing. But not really worth it if they’re only going to last a week or two.Jess
