Chelsea Cosmetics Wigs For Sale (2023 Update)

I love the Chelsea wig for ease of wear. I purchased the color 6/27 which is a beautiful brown with caramel highlights around the face. I originally thought the brown color 6 would be too dark for me but I was pleasently surprised. I love that although this is an open cap wig it has closed ear tabs. Unfortunately I don't see closed ear tabs in many of the open cap/basic cap wigs. I have sensitive skin around my head where the wigs rest and the comfort of closed ear tabs is fast becoming a necessity for me. I will probably buy this wig in another color since the price is so reasonable. Jon Renau has such beautiful, thoughtful colors. I am very pleased with my purchase.Carol M.

I love this style and the color. My first one was 14/26s10, and my next one was 10/26TT. It’s very easy to style right out of the box, and the cap is comfortable on my avg/lg head. The flips on the back can be smoothed down, or enhanced with wet fingers. I get frequent compliments when wearing it.Jen S.

My first Jon Renau wig, and I love the way this cap fits! It feels more secure, and I believe it’s because of the two metal stays at the nape. Chelsea is a great style, and it can be shaped into different looks just with finger styling. I got this in 14/26S10, which makes this my lightest/ blondest wig, but it’s a darker blonde than I expected (which made me happy!), and it looks fantastic. Going to get another one!Jen S.

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I called customer service and was told it is a different manufacturer and no return because it’s a final sale. Now I have to spend another $50.00 to get it cut and styles just so that it’s wearable. I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy

I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. But, I do have long hair that I wear up in a mesh wig cap – so maybe it would be OK for someone with very fine short hair.Erin W.

I can't tell you how much I love this wig! But I'll try. First off, let me say I was really skeptical about this wig cause I had never worn a wig with such short hair. I'm usually going for mid length to long haired wigs. I wanted to try something knew and go outside my comfort zone for my birthday. I'm so glad that I did. EVERYONE was complementing me! This is a wonderful wig. It has a nice part in which some thought I had gotten a 27pc or gotten my hair cut. Also it doesn't look or feel that much like synthetic hair. I simply love this wig. It is so cute the cut is perfect, ear tabs are on point. I have brought other wigs from Ebonyline, they always deliver quality wigs. They are always on point with shipping it's never a question with Ebonyline. I have gotten other wigs from other companies.. The order process was easy. The delivery service was quick despite the pandemic and to top it all, I love love love love love my wigs (3)!!! I was blessed to receive the blueberry wig as a gift several years ago and I wear it primarily daily. I'm beginning to wear the edges out with perspiration of course not because of the quality of the wig. So I had to have another on reserve for later. While I was at it, I purchase two more in different colors. Overall I still love these wigs. I love the quality. I love that it doesn't shed. Most of all I love that it doesn't tangle. I can just wash and go. You can style this wig in many different styles then the way it was styled. Overall you will enjoy this wig.Avis T.

I adore Voltage! I first got her in SS11/29 Shaded Nutmeg, but I have warm olive (green) skin, and the overall reddish tone of the wig clashes, so I almost never wear her. But she fit so well and was such a lovely style, I decided to buy Voltage in a color I would actually wear. I got the R511G – Gradient Charcoal. She's so pretty, but for some reason, this wig doesn't seem as full or as long as the SS11/29. If it were identical but for color, it'd earn 5 glorious stars from me. I would highly recommend VogueWigs for both their excellent customer service, and in particular, the Raquel Welch Voltage and Sparkle style wigs. My own hair needed a break from colouring and hairspray, so I decided to order the Sparkle wig about a year ago, and wear it for 6 months. My photo is the Sparkle wig…colour Mocha Foil. loved it so much, that I now wear a wig all the time. The colour and style are similar to my own hair, which has been thinning over the years. I receive compliments frequently, asking who does my cut and colour. My answer is always the same…VogueWigs! Always love the look of surprise! I now have two of each style of wig. Great product. I was told I look 20 yrs. younger. I will be 71 yrs. old in Aug. I am going to order another wig in April. Pending if the color is similar to what Rachel Welch has on, RL29/25. I would like the photos to be more accurate with the color charts. For example, Russet Ginger Blonde can look bright red, compared to "Strawberry," with the wig, RL29/25. I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.

My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily

Back/sides were shorter than photo but the wig fits well. Has adjustable tabs and front and top look natural. I ordered color 4 dk Brn returned for color 2 v. Dark brn . This is a nice style I was distracted by the wrong color 4 me. My natural hair is dark brown and this wig looked bad with my naturally dark brows.I expect correct color 4me will be just fine. This wig didn't fall right in the front and across the forehead and didn't present like the photo shown on website. Very disappointing and I had to return it. The style in the back and on the sides is just like how it appears in the photo. The color was also a good choice for me. Don't know if the problem I mentioned was due to a defect but I didn't want to pay the additional fees to exchange it for a replacement and pay another fee for shipping if I had to return it again.Faith

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. I wasn't looking for this style or length of wig, but I was intrigued by this one. I was also surprised by some of the colours available. I decided to take a chance and bought the melted plum colour. I was pleasantly surprised when the wig arrived. The colour sample here doesn't do it justice. The melted plum is deep plum on top of the head (not just the roots) and fades out to silvery white at the tips. The whole wig has a silvery sheen to it. It's very flattering and eye catching, and the first time I wore it out I was stopped many times and asked about it. The wig is light weight and comfortable to wear, the short length at the back cools the neck. The bangs do hang in your face, that's how the wig is designed. I don't mind it, except outdoors if it's windy. I played around with it and found a few tricks to keep the bangs out of the eyes. A headband works, so does a hat. It's still cold here so I wore a beanie/touque over the wig when I went out, it looked stylish and kept the bangs out of the eyes. Another trick is to use got2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel, it comes in a black tube. Many people use it to glue down the part on lace front wigs. I put a dab at the root of the bangs at the front of the wig, and it glues the bangs in place to keep them out of the eyes.Patti G.

I love Reese in Rasberry Ice. It frames my face beautifully. I love tucking it behind my ear. I had a hair stylist last week ask me who did my hair and when I told her it was a wig she was surprised. She stated she would have never guessed. I feel that is the ultimate compliment. The only issue is that the back tends to fray after several months of wear when I wear high collars. Fray happens over time to any of the longer wigs that I wear. I would recommend this wigs especially if you have fuller faces.Teresa D.

Let me first say, I’m pretty sure this is NOT directly the fault of Vogue Wigs. With that being said, I’m very disappointed in my recent Jolie wig purchases! I’ve been purchasing this same wig for about 10yrs. About 4 yes ago I noticed a decline in the way the wig is made, using less hair but the price keeps rising!! Then again with the 2 I purchased most recently they seem to have done it again!!! I am beside myself as I have tried many other wigs and this is the only one that I feel Comfortable in as I wear my wig daily! I love Jolie as I’ve stated in previous reviews of this piece. When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I wore my hair in dreds for years but when thyroid problems set in, my hair changed. It changed so much that I cut off my hair and decided to look for a new style to wear my hair. I decided to turn to wigs. I bought Glenda 3T280 last year, almost a year ago and I am still receiving compliments. No one knows it is a wig and that is what I like about Glenda. She fits comfortably when I wear my natural hair cut very low so new growth is definitely a conflict. The care is easy, I did purchase the wig shampoo and conditioner and my hair smells good and feels clean. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend.Josephine B.

I like this hat (wig) because it's not too dense. The color (4/27/30) is a nice blend, the color is my favorite. The con is it fit's odd something is weird about the cap. And I own a lot of hats (wigs) so I know the difference. Price has nothing to do with it. And for this reason, I can't recommend it because of the QA was not done. It's the risk you take when ordering off line, it's a 50/50 chance. And for this one I'm not very satisfied. So, 2 stars for the fit and 4 stars for the color and densityLisa M.

The wig looks awful! The color does not look blond, is very dull and wiggy looking. It is actually one of the worse wigs I have ever had the displeasure of purchasing. I cannot return it nor get a refund. It will just go in the circular file (trash). I definitely would not recommend it.JACQUELYN

This was my first time purchasing a wig online. I was not disappointed a bit with this unit. I got this in #2 and was really impressed with how natural looking it was great with my skin tone too. It is very long, but I cut off a few inches to really achieve the look wanted. I'm off now to buy another!!Kay

I have only worn this wig a handful of times and so far I really like it. The feel is soft and silky and I haven't had any problems with it getting tangled. This is the first time that I purchase a lace front wig and let me tell you. It's true what they say: lace front wigs are truly the best!
