Not sure about the cap, the way it is constructed. I have many basic cap wigs and have never had this problem before, it’s not just the wefts showing it’s the holes!! Yes holes all over the top I don’t care how you style it all you see are the holes in the top. Very disappointed, the color the hair fiber was great and the fit also. Is this something new Not pleased at all, would not recommend and will definitely not wear. If this is how they are going to continue making caps will be switching to another brand.Margaret C.

Ruby is my daily go-to wig. I actually have her in three colors, two of them being the new chocolate colors. I love, love, love this wig. As Heather says, she literally is shake and go. I love this wig (Drive); however, I wore it to a concert in Las Vegas a few weekends ago and between the sweating from dancing and the wind/breezy conditions outside, it ruined the fibers. I love this wig. It is such a GOOD style/cut! Very on trend I would say. Tried on with several outfits today looks great with pretty much everything. Clavicle length, very flattering. Love the Cherry color. A couple downsides: is it does fall in your face a lot. I haven’t tried to gently heat the fibers so they don’t fall forward so much, and I haven’t put hair spray in yet. But that may help. Also the ends of the fibers at the front of the wig have that dry tangly feeling —must be the heat friendly fibers. Like a lot of the fibers have a course curly texture mixed with the others? But I honestly don’t really care because she is still a BEAUTY!Hannah C.

I wear wigs recreationally to give my own hair a break from heat styling once or twice a week or while I am on vacation. The cut and length of Nadia is very much like my own hairstyle. I was hoping the color would be as well (I got it in Frosted) but it's much darker in person than the sample shows. My own hair is medium brown but I have about 50% of it lightened with foils to a gold blonde. The Frosted wig is more an all over medium brown with just lighter tips. I probably should have gone with Medium Blonde or Dark Blonde, but for winter the Frosted will be fine. The mono part looks very realistic and the hair does not have that unnatural shine that some wigs have. The shading of the hair looks natural as well. I may have to trim the bangs about 1/2" as they are fairly long, but that's the case with most wigs. Better to have the bangs too long than too short. I am impressed with the quality and construction of this unit and would order it again, only in a lighter shade.Kim

The Nadia style is perfect right out of the box. I like how the waves at the ends fall over each other on my back. The bangs were a touch long if I wanted to wear them straight down, but side swept it was much more sophisticated and pretty. The nice thing is that it will stay that way, no need to style it. I found the Sterling Shadow to be even more silver than Estetica's ChromeRT1B. The dark root blended well into the rest of the style and wasn't harsh or stark at all.Joan S.

After starting chemo, I have been struggling to find a wig that I like and it seemed like every wig I got was too full and it just felt so unnatural. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I am new to wearing & purchasing wigs. This is only the 2nd wig I have bought. I love it though it is very different than my own hairs thickness & style, though that is not a bad thing. We all know that harmful chemicals in hair dyes can cause problems with your health & damage to your hair. Woweee! I have several favorites when it comes to wig styles, but Angelica PM ranks at #1! Long feminine locks that hold up well, as do all Noriko fibers, and a realistic monopart which is essential to me. My only drawback is that the average cap size runs a bit small for my avg/lrg head, but large size is too large for me. All in all, she still gets an A+! Shown here in Crimson LR.Janel H.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi

The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.

-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. It's otherwise a pretty good wig and I would recommend it.Aubrey H.

I like this wig alot. I was able to wear it right out of the box without trimming. I think it looks very natural. I would give it 5 stars but the Ellen Wille long wigs that I have are a little bit of a pain. After you wash them you need to blow dry them on warm or do a little flat ironing on low or else they are a hard tangled mess. You would think with technology they could make a better fiber, but whatever. The reason I keep going back to this brand is for the colors, and the look, even when you can't actually run your fingers through them, they still look ok. It's weird, but again, whatever. I love the look of this wig and it looked great on me. The problem is for as much as I spent on this wig, the amount of actual wear I got out of it was disappointing. If I wore it more than 20 times or so, I would be surprised. The hair in back got so matted, tangled and dried out, I can't even wear it anymore. I purchased Code Mono, also by Ellen Wilie, and my experience with that wig was a repeat of the Cher wig. I have at least 5 other wigs by Noriko, Jon Reanu, Rene, Envy that are also long and I have gotten tons of wear out of them and for a lot less money. I don't know that I will ever buy an Ellen Willie again, at least not a long one.Sandra

I bought this wig twice. The first one was one of the first wigs I've owned and I thought I ruined it. I loved the way it looked and bought it again- this time I treated it very delicately. It is still starting to get very frizzy and appear damaged. I have conditioned it regularly and taken great care but it just continues to look awful. It does look great at first but it doesn't last. My other wig (different brand/type) is doing great and still looks amazing. I take care of it the same way. Not a fan.Blaire

Top of the wig is thin. It appears as though the colored units the charge you extra for is thin on the crown and the color I chose was ChocFrost like color but what I received was like a light colored #4.Marva G.

This is a lovely wig. I love that it's thinner and hand tied. I'm not a fan of the ear to ear lace. It tends to stick up around the ear tabs and you can see it. I've tried glue but it just cakes up on the lace and doesn't work anyway. I wish I had gotten the regular julianne with velvet ear tabs. I am so glad I tried the light version in the julianne before paying a ridiculous amount of money for the carrie light and realizing the lace ear tabs are terrible. If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.Gerri

I have bought several regular January's in the past, and have always thought they had too much permatease, but would repurchase it because it is closest to the style and color I am looking for. This was my first January Hand Tied. I am pleased to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. The best part is that there is NO permatease, which had always made it too hot to wear in the summer, and now I don't have to worry about wefts showing since there are none. The lace front on mine is fantastic in the color 14/25 – the highlighting and knotting is the best it's ever been. It is much less tiger-striped looking than it had been about 5 years ago. The hand tied January also has less density than regular January, so I only thinned it slightly in spots compared to my major thinning of regular January. Both versions of January tend to be less shiny than the straight versions of synthetics, which is a plus for me. The Jon Renau regular synthetic fibers last longer than the other brands I have tried as well.Brahm

I love this wig. I wanted something super casual and wearable, and this is perfect. You can puff it up and add volume, or smooth it down for a more streamlined profile. I love the center part, and the curtain bangs stay out of my face without having to pin them back. Rootbeer Float Blonde is my new favorite, mostly because Butterbeer has a strange colored root…sort of burgundy. This is very similar but much more of an ash base. They are both beautiful, but I find this color a little more natural looking. I am all about natural looking wigs. If you want something for your jeans and sweatshirt days, this is it. I have been a wearer of wigs and hair pieces all my life…partly because I like to change my look but mainly because my natural hair is the consistency of steel wool. And to make matters worse, I started losing my hair over 15 years ago so it's been very important to me to find wigs that not only are affordable but also look realistic. And that's where things get difficult. Or at least until now. I had seen pictures for the Shakerato wig by BelleTress and I couldn't get over how natural it looked. I've always wanted to try a lace front but thought it would be too complicated to wear – I thought all lace front wigs had to be glued down. That is not the case with this wig. The thin lace front blends seamlessly into my own skin and gives the illusion of hair sprouting from my own forehead which is something I have not seen in many years. I chose the darkest color, Coffee without cream, and even though it is dark it still manages to be multi-dimensional with just the slightest variants of different shades of dark browns. And in addition to the beautiful and rich color, the wig is so lightweight that within minutes of putting it on I had forgotten that I was wearing a wig. I’ve worn wigs for 4 years now and have an extensive collection. I’ve purchased multiple Belle Tress wigs because I do love the coconut blonde color for summer (pictures attached) and feel for the price you get a decent wig with an absolutely gorgeous lace front. I put the Lady Latte wig on and loved it immediately, so I removed the tags and wore her to work after a quick styling. It was a few hours later that I realized there were multiple strands of hair poking out of the left side of the wig. I have never experienced this before on any wig I’ve owned. I literally had to take scissors and cut those strands off at the cap. There was a crease imbedded into an entire weft with no way to fix or style the wig to cover the strands that were sticking out. This is a light density wig with no room for this kind of defect. My advice to anyone is to very carefully look at ALL the wefts on your wigs to ensure there are no weirds kinks that are creased into the strands of hair!Jill T.

This wig is different than any others I’ve ever had. It took me a long time using steam, and product to get it not to stand straight up in the front. It is finally allowing me to bring a little of it down into a side bang without poking out and I can get the rest of the top to stay back. The hair fiber is far from shiny which is a dead give away for a wig so that is good, but it actually looks like dried out hair. The color and bit of curl are new to me too, the bulk as well, I have thinned it a little, but that is why I wanted to try something different. I think it looks like real hair although it is my least favorite lace front I have ever owned. Along the right temple side of my head, the edge of the wig has a thick seam so I need to make sure the hair is laying down rather than back right there. I will try to add a photo later.Jeri S

This wig is different than any others I’ve ever had. It took me a long time using steam, and product to get it not to stand straight up in the front. It is finally allowing me to bring a little of it down into a side bang without poking out and I can get the rest of the top to stay back. The hair fiber is far from shiny which is a dead give away for a wig so that is good, but it actually looks like dried out hair. THIS WIG IS VERY NATURAL AND I LOVE THE STYLE. ITS EASY TO WEAR AND THE STYLE IS BEAUTIFUL BUT MOST OF ALL THE LENGTH IS JUST PERFECT FOR ME….BREANNA
