I have worn many different varieties and brands of wigs… and at any price Ms.Welch's (synthetic) wigs are an inferior product to many, many other brands that cost far less money First, the "Positives": very nice color assortment from which to choose… though it must be acknowledged that "good color assortments", throughout the various brands-range is not a rarity. There are very nice colors available in all brands The "NotSoPositives": The mono-top, dimension-ally, should be more ample in size. If you wish to create a part on the "far side", either right or left, you'll encounter a problem, having run-out of "mono" construction. 2) Front Lace from "temple to temple" is not acceptable; for a product costing this amount of money at full-Retail, the lace should go from ear-to-ear 3) … and finally: the "hair"/ fiber: AWFUL !!! After wearing for a brand-new unit (only) a week or so, you'll find that the ends begin to frizz… and the frizzing becomes worse and worse as time goes-by. And before you ask: No, I do not… and have never used heated styling tools on synthetic units. The frizzing looks like the results of an extremely bad perm.', and the scatch-iness against the skin is soooooo uncomfortable on those longer styles. … and finally: the lace front separated from the front of the wig! I wear wigs full time and I own over 20. Every quality of synthetic from $20 Ebay wigs to $400 bought on this site. Love this site. The fit, color and style of this wig are awesome as are Raq wigs, but not the hair quality. The wig frays easily. I know how to care and treat a heat friendly synthetic wig, hence my history above, but within 1 week of daily wear the hair from the nape down became dry, course and needed a deep conditioning. I only use the wide tooth wig comb sold here on my wigs so this shouldn't have happened. My first real disappointment so I'm glad I got it on sale. I bought Zara as a replacement bcs they are very similar. I hope she holds up better than Scene Stealer.Gigi

I usually buy preplucked lacefronts at around $60 and so this is a great beautiful wig for learning customizing even though it doesn’t need tons but if your a novice at that like me. It’s very light weight on my head. The density and hair thickness are perfect for believeable daily wear. Now it’s synthetic shiny so it definitely needs dry shampoo. Optional foundation for the hairline and optional plucking but the hairline looks pretty darn good without it so that’s just to up it a notch to believability. I’ve enclosed pics straight from out of the box to display OP430 in natural lighting. I bought 4 packs of black and 1 pack of the deep wine, but since I have my sides and back shaved then of course I have plenty of locs left over (and I'm glad that I do). Usually I'll do my faux locs myself by starting with Senegalese twists then by rapping them which, of course, would take forever so this was my first using crochet locs. They are definitely springy, but beware because if they get tugged at the ends on accident then they will just hang and not spring back. I already had to cut some ends because of such actions. Also, I noticed some were not made as well as others, so make sure you get an extra pack. Some were "puffy" so my hair isn't hiding as well as it should be (I did individual crocheting). I do love the look though but removed a star based of said flaws. I took another star off because the website was being glitchy. I used the website via my phone and when trying to add stuff other than the locs, my whole cart would be emptied. It did this several times, so I just gave up and only purchased the locs. When I went to purchase the locs, the total jumped by $1, which is no big deal because it was just a dollar but the fact that it jumped like that concerned me. But at the end of the day, I would recommend and use this hair again. It did get frizzy and snaggy the second day but nothing major yet. Also, I noticed the deep wine holds up better than the black. The only way this wig could be any better was if it just lasted a tad longer and if the curl pattern never fell. It looks more realistic as the curls fall, but it dries at the ends and will eventually need to be straightened, perhaps trimmed or cut and then converted to bun or workout hair. In the meantime though, you get MAD compliments – many people don't even realize its not my bio hair. I wear it regularly in 1B and recently switched to OP61327 (613 Platinum blonde ombre with 1B roots and strategically placed 27 and/or 30 for dimension and shine). I absolutely love it – I'm a whole different person. Only thing that Freetress could offer any better was if this colour came in Karissa's length and density. Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

Hello! Runway Wave’s fibers feel very soft and the style is very realistic. I purchased mine in the 14/22 which is a very pretty shade of ash blonde in my opinion. However, I wish that Gabor offered their wigs in more realistic shaded root colors like Raquel Welch does or Jon Renau. I do have to say that Gabor does blondes nicely, especially their fabulous ash tones! However, I was reluctant to purchase this in SS (shaded at the roots) version because of the reviews that I saw online. This color to me on this particular blonde looks as if it’s just a “done at home poor root touch up” — not a shaded high quality sought after expensive wig color! It is very brassy at the roots and just looks like a really bad color job gone awry!! I would have given this a 5 star review except for not having a rooted version since it could have looked even more realistic. This is the only thing that Gabor is missing in their line. Please consider adding more rooted varieties. Also add a nice 19/23SS blonde like Raquel has and some more straighter current versions, even highlights would be nice as well to your repertoire. I have now tried three of these Runway Waves… first one had the front super straight and frizzed, so I returned. Second one was huge, compared to the other and to other Gabor wigs I have. Third fit better, but the highlighting was much thicker/bolder around the face. Thinking as might return the third, as well. This is unfortunate, because otherwise the length and the waves are really beautiful. I usually get 8/29 Hazelnut, and generally really like Gabor/RW wigs, particularly how they do a little lighter on the lace front to blend better. I think this could be a real winner, and hopefully I just got unlucky.Melissa B.
Plant arrived with leaves missing. This may be the fault of the plant, not the company as I have been trying for 2 years, purchased 5 other failed orange rocket barberry plants only to have to dig them up and toss out later. Home Depot: 2 sets of 2, $44 each 2gal, purchased months apart with leaves missing, amazon 2qt size $29, plant arrived no leaves. Plant from brighter bloom came in the best condition as roots were still intact, branches very bendable, no leaves but planted it and will see what happens. I do have 2 orange rocket barberry plants planted 2 years ago, and once established it is a very easy care, beautiful plant. Would love to find another orange rocket barberry, but will not attempt a 7 th time. I have above average abilities in gardening, have never had a failed experience as it has been with this plant.Linda G.

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. It tends to be a face flopper on me, but I plan to train it back. My photo shows it clipped on the right side.Lydia S.
This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. She's going to be really great for the warmer months in particular. I'm very glad I bought her!Tricia L.
I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much.
