This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I took a chance and ordered my first blonde wig from this website. The ombre color is beautiful and goes well with my darker skin tone. This wig cap fits tight, not for larger heads. The hair quality is good, just don't forget to use oil sheen and hairspray to keep from frizzing up. I highly recommend this wig, its my go to, for looking good with little effort. It was a little extra poofy on the top so I did the hot water trick on it that I usually do and I trimmed it up a little bit the length in the back is very nice the color is very nice I usually wear it with a skull cap I put clips in the front and the back and I wear it on my motorcycle and it looks like I have long hair I don't like the cap though I wish it had ear tabsjalin-214

I actually have this wig in multiple colors. This brand is very cheap but I love it. I usually have to do some plucking of it before wearing it but it’s totally worth it for the price and the feel. Most of their wigs are around 20 dollars. This brand always has lace on the front every time I have bought a wig from them. Even if it’s a little piece, it does help it look more natural as compared to some of the other brands I have used.krysi.h

I adore Voltage! I first got her in SS11/29 Shaded Nutmeg, but I have warm olive (green) skin, and the overall reddish tone of the wig clashes, so I almost never wear her. But she fit so well and was such a lovely style, I decided to buy Voltage in a color I would actually wear. I got the R511G – Gradient Charcoal. She's so pretty, but for some reason, this wig doesn't seem as full or as long as the SS11/29. If it were identical but for color, it'd earn 5 glorious stars from me. I would highly recommend VogueWigs for both their excellent customer service, and in particular, the Raquel Welch Voltage and Sparkle style wigs. My own hair needed a break from colouring and hairspray, so I decided to order the Sparkle wig about a year ago, and wear it for 6 months. My photo is the Sparkle wig…colour Mocha Foil. loved it so much, that I now wear a wig all the time. The colour and style are similar to my own hair, which has been thinning over the years. I receive compliments frequently, asking who does my cut and colour. My answer is always the same…VogueWigs! Always love the look of surprise! I now have two of each style of wig. Great product. I was told I look 20 yrs. younger. I will be 71 yrs. old in Aug. I am going to order another wig in April. Pending if the color is similar to what Rachel Welch has on, RL29/25. I would like the photos to be more accurate with the color charts. For example, Russet Ginger Blonde can look bright red, compared to "Strawberry," with the wig, RL29/25. I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura

I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele

I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

The shape of this wig is totally different than the picture. The length is quite shorter than expected as well. I was hoping to just put this on and go but I had to cut it and try and fix the unruly waves and coax them into a decent shape.pearce494

I love this wig! This is the first time that people have asked me where I get my hair highlighted because this wig looks this natural! HF fiber is my favorite but it definitely doesn't last as long. It will dry out so you have to use moisture spray on it, either the Heat Defiant Detangler or some type of watered down spray detangle product. Just spray and let dry completely before using wide tooth wig comb or wide tooth wig brush. This will help prolong life. You can also snip dry ends carefully. The lace fronts on Raquel Welch wigs are the best imo, and this one is great. This cap is well constructed and the mono top is wonderful, a must have. (I love 100% hand tied caps but the one offered in this style is a little large on me, but I do have a small head. ) The Raquel Welch Shadow Shades, SS, are the most realistic, they are gorgeous. Her caps are a bit large imo, except for the petite caps, which are perfect for me. Her hand tied caps are wonderful, but again, I'm a very petite lady and they are too large for me. I wish this style was about 7% to 10% thicker, just my opinion. This is a phenomenal wig. The cut is timeless and well done, beautiful. The flow of the hair fiber is gorgeous! Try her! I so love the Spotlight in Shaded Biscuit RL19/23SS. She's a lot more platinum and less yellow than i expected, but I kept her. Its true Blondes have more fun. I've been going brunette for so long thought I'd try this. And you would not believe the response and compliments I've received on this wig in this color. I originally wanted the new Mesmerize, but at my age (56) this wig is slightly shorter and lighter weight, so an instant winner. Can you pull this off at 56 .. absolutely! Velvet temples are nice, and full lace top, can be parted on any side or middle. Super soft hair material as well.Skye G.

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. so far, I've tried three wigs from this site (for reference, one was $100 more than Rylee, and one was $100 less). Rylee is my favorite — I bought the ginger-brown to try and match my natural color and previous wigs. this color was exactly as expected. plus, the cap fit and adjusted well so that the hairline looks natural even after weeks of everyday wear. it does shed, but so has every wig I've bought. plus, despite that shedding is annoying in terms of "cleaning" up the mess, it doesn't really take away from how real the wig looks. any fraying at the ends can be offset by a trim (I did this myself!), since Rylee has the upside of longer hair. As a first time wig buyer, my remarks will no doubt have those of you more experienced rolling your eyes. Firstly, this is not a "take from box, shake out, put on your head and go wig." I had to work with it quite a bit and I'm still not quite satisfied with the style. The color is lovely, the fit is good. The straw-like texture of the hair is a little disappointing, especially around the face. I believe it has possibilities and I am going to keep it. It is the best of the six wigs I tried with other companies and returned. Photo doesn't really represent the actual color and look of the wig on my head, but here goes.Rebecca L.

Felicity is simply a great all around girl! The fibers are not too shiny, realistic and comb out easily. It's a no frills cap, that would fit an average, however because my head is petite, I take her in, to remove the bulk. One does however have to really work with obscuring the permatease. But the more you move the fibers around, it's great. I love wearing mine in a twisted updo. I do trim the length, but that's my personal preference as I have a petite face. I have a petite head and always have trouble finding wigs that are small enough from ear to ear. To my utter delight I found this one fits wonderfully. Still more space/netting in the back than I need, but I'm just excited to have a wig that sits right in the front!Kaitlin E.
