I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! The costume was of very good quality. I ordered the child size olaf costume for 2 reasons, I'm short, and my two little girls may want to wear it for another Halloween. For reference, I would say the child size Olaf costume will fit well for people up to 5 feet tall. It you're take than that, get the adult costume.
This costume is so cute however it broke within an hour at a Trunk or Treat event and never made it to Halloween Trick or Treating. The fan is very cheaply made and the costume is useless without the fan. So, would definitely not recommend this costume. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy
I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. My son is a skinny tall 2.5 year old so he is kind of in between sizes but the 2t works well enough. The sleeves are smallish even on him but the hat is a little big. The quality is pretty nice, but as expected for a costume not handmade by your grandmother. I like the cut and color (Oyster) of this wig. It's easy to wear (once my stylist trimmed the bangs away from my face). The lace front however, has dark spots that are visible to others in daylight. Therefore, I'm wearing this one at night only. FYI, I recently bought a Raquel Welch Classic Cool (in R61 Palest Pearl) too, and its lace front does not have that problem.Olivia B.
This adorable bob is so fun and perfect for summer. It's my first blonde wig so I decided to try the 12FS8 Shaded Praline. I usually wear brunette colors and the dark root is a easy way to transition to the blondes! Ignite is SO SOFT the HD fibers are beautiful and not as much shine as the regular synthetic fibers. I have not used any heat on her yet because the cut is so perfect the way it is. Ear tabs are a little short on me and this only matters because I have a shaved head so I like the coverage, but the style frames the face in a great way that it works. The cap construction all in all is comfortable and cool to wear. I want to get Ignite in more colors because it is just so cute! Highly recommend it!Joanna A.

This is the third time I've purchased this wig. The first one finally wore out after 3 years of wearing it almost daily. I have male pattern baldness, so I don't have even enough hair for a topper. I wear my own hair (dyed and cut to match) down, with the wig over the top. It gives me a very natural hairline, and it keeps the wig smooth at the nape. I love this wig because it's nicely cut, right out of the box. It's also long enough to cut any way you want it. I've cut them to just below the shoulders, to leaving it the length it came. I can wear it up or down, with bangs or a side swoop. It all works. The fiber is very nice. It looks very natural–not too shiny or greasy looking, as some wigs look. The coloring is very pretty. I am able to style it with light heat and it holds the style through washings, until I style it again. If the ends get fuzzy, I wash the wig and use a flat iron at 125 while the wig is still damp, to smooth the ends. They turn out nice and smooth.
I love this wig! This is the first time that people have asked me where I get my hair highlighted because this wig looks this natural! HF fiber is my favorite but it definitely doesn't last as long. It will dry out so you have to use moisture spray on it, either the Heat Defiant Detangler or some type of watered down spray detangle product. Just spray and let dry completely before using wide tooth wig comb or wide tooth wig brush. This will help prolong life. You can also snip dry ends carefully. The lace fronts on Raquel Welch wigs are the best imo, and this one is great. This cap is well constructed and the mono top is wonderful, a must have. (I love 100% hand tied caps but the one offered in this style is a little large on me, but I do have a small head. ) The Raquel Welch Shadow Shades, SS, are the most realistic, they are gorgeous. Her caps are a bit large imo, except for the petite caps, which are perfect for me. Her hand tied caps are wonderful, but again, I'm a very petite lady and they are too large for me. I wish this style was about 7% to 10% thicker, just my opinion. This is a phenomenal wig. The cut is timeless and well done, beautiful. The flow of the hair fiber is gorgeous! Try her! I so love the Spotlight in Shaded Biscuit RL19/23SS. She's a lot more platinum and less yellow than i expected, but I kept her. Its true Blondes have more fun. I've been going brunette for so long thought I'd try this. And you would not believe the response and compliments I've received on this wig in this color. I originally wanted the new Mesmerize, but at my age (56) this wig is slightly shorter and lighter weight, so an instant winner. Can you pull this off at 56 .. absolutely! Velvet temples are nice, and full lace top, can be parted on any side or middle. Super soft hair material as well.Skye G.
