The instructions do not suggest heat but since the hair was Kanekalon, I straightened it slightly to make it blend better with my permed/wavy hair. Con: The only gripe I have about this hair is that the dark root parts appear to look like they just blended a short cut piece of black hair into a long strand of brown, thus making the top thicker and it thins out when it gets to just the brown. I've been purchased from this vendor for a while. Vendor sales great quality products and has weekly discount code but, vendor charge taxes. My biggest problem with vendor is that the condition of the items packages. The last two shipments I've received from them was the worst. First picture, all the items was wet. The rain water got through the box and the the wigs. The other items was wiped due to the box condition. I bought the Dr4/2T27613 and it's beautifully made blends instantly no need for all the makeup kits people use..but that's just my opinion. Beautiful wig made very well but not suitable for everyone. It would be great if you had the option to get different wig head sizes. I have a rather large head and it dies not fit my head well. It's very nice wig but irritating because it's synthetic fiber. Also I wanted a soils Burgundy color as the options show instead I got ombre 1b/Burgundy. I wouldn't recommend this wig for anyone with large head. But it dies look very realistic. I got tons of compliments. It's a great FULL braided wig. There is a little bulkiness toward the front with a few to many braids and it's a little heavy. I think it's more for fill faced and larger head women that can fill it out better. The braids are beautiful and sealed it never sheds. They are like feed-in cornrows box braid thickness if that makes sense. I do recommend buying just beware they are a little thicker.Keisha
