You buy something like this to enhance or for costume wear. In my honest opinion, this is not realistic as real hair and will look like a wig. My biggest negative point would be that if you comb through the tangles (it does tangle easily), a good amount of hair does come off. Maybe because it's new, I do not know. The other minor thing, you can't really shape the wig at all, but I didn't expect it would do this anyway. I like to dress up and mainly bought this because I have natural, very long dark hair and wanted to try "red" without dyeing my hair. I do think this is an all around nice wig and it was a great price..included a wig cap and comb. But it always was a one time purchase for me and I never expected this to be or look like the real thing. I got it for when I dress up in something really sexy and want to be a redhead! 😉 For that, it works!! I only review this way for those who think this may be a passable or realistic look. Although the price is reasonable, the quality is subpar and the product is not accurate to the advertised picture. The Farah Fawcett like "flicks" in the front, which drew me to the wig in the first place, were just two big fat curls that fell apart the second I pulled it out of the netting albeit gently. I tried to style it, but it's rather hopeless and doesn't retain that 70's look. If you want a silly curled wig go for it, but if you want it for a 70's themed party like I did, STAY AWAY!
