I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I am new to wig-wearing. My bio hair is about 75% gray, and I do have a full head of hair that I keep cut in a very short style. I decided to start wearing wigs because I wanted more variety in hair styles as well as colors. Winner was a good choice for me lengthwise to start my wig-wearing-journey. However, I wish I had been much bolder in my initial color and length range. Since then I've warmed up to taking more risks. Winner (average) is a bit large for my head. My truest measurement falls between petite and average. Overall, I must admit, Winner has been my winning choice in more ways than I care to acknowledge. NOTE: Service/ delivery is very efficient.

I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I have bought Trendsetter in gradient charcoal for some years now and have 8 of them, having the best ones for special occasions, average for every day, and the other one for work. Now I have received the ninth one, and am SO disappointed. No longer does Trendsetter have flicked up waves, it is half the thickness that it was, and it is straight with no bounce. Has anyone else had this experience? I believe they are being made more cheaply, or have been taken over by an inferior company who have no idea what Trendsetter is supposed to be. I chose Glazed Vanilla and Silver Mist. The style is very flattering and super easy to wear. You just shake it out, put it on, comb the bangs into place a go! I've been a blonde for years so enjoy the Glazed Vanilla for work. The Silver Mist is gorgeous. Since I'm all grey now, it's a fun weekend wig. The Trendsetter is very comfortable to wear. It has a light airy feel, like your own hair. I wear an average size and it's great, with easy adjustable straps if you need a tighter fit. I own 2 of these beautiful wigs. It is a fabulous color P27-30-33. The cap is breathable and I don't melt while playing tennis in south Alabama. It is super easy to style with a straightener, curling iron and even hot rollers. I have had these over a year and wear them every day. My only complaint is that after a few months you do have to carefully flat iron the ends especially at the nape of the neck because the hair gets very frizzy and course. I wash them in the recommended wig clenser and conditioner and that helps maintain them. Fantastic product and a great buy. I am ordering another.Ceige
This is a gorgeous piece. It's the perfect length and the volume is nice. The fibers are soft yet there is a density to the wig which makes it feel lush. I got this in FS 4-27. It is chocolaty brown with some warmer caramel highlights. I wear a wig everyday and was excited to love this so much. I do push the hairline back about an inch and comb my own bangs into the wig for a more natural look… Will definitely reorder!

Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? Merchandise is of poor quality, cut-throat customer service. I am not happy and can't wear this wig. I refuse to exchange for a fee. The color was nice on this wig, but I could not see how it would really look on me. I ordered the other mixed colored one, as well. I had to leave the cardboard attached. There is no way to see how I would look without a big piece of cardboard hanging from the wig. So, I guess I will never really know, since I returned both colors of this wig.Wynona
Well wasted my money yet again. The photo looks like a nice short wig. Once i opened it. there as a dead bug right on the top. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

I was a bit apprehensive in buying this wig, but let me tell you people, this one of the best buys I have ever made. This wig was made for me.
