I have purchased several wigs from Vogue over the past few years, and I've bought more than one of this style. The texture and quality make it my very favorite! It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. I would think that the running room would know better since I have not had this problem with other products from the RR that have hoods. I enjoy changing up my look from time to time but in doing so I have found that many wigs quickly can get unruly. When starting out I had no idea how to maintain my wigs so I had to really learn through suggestions and trial and error. I spoke with one of the consultants on the phone who answered my questions and directed me to the best brand for me. I don’t have major hair loss, just substantially thinning hair from the effects of menopause. With a smallish face, I needed a somewhat thin topper so as to not appear that I was wearing a hair piece. I chose a color that amazingly matches my hair perfectly! I wore it all day on Easter, indoors and out among lots of family and no one noticed that it wasn’t my own hair. Success! The only issue I have with it is that the cap is a bit too small to lie flat so it sits slightly (but unnoticeably) raised on my head.
