20 Elvis Costume Wig For Sale (2024 Update)

The wig is great. Feels almost real. Fits me right on. Might not fit a person with really large head. Would be best if there was a size choice. I like how the sideburns fit tight to the head. Might not if you have a skinny face but could easily use a bit of tape to hold them close to the cheeks.Dunes

This didn't look ANYTHING like the picture that advertises it. I had to cut loads off the side burns before it was anything like Elvis' and loads off the back because it looked like a mullet. Needed A LOT of wax and styling before started to resemble anything like Elvis. It wasn't expensive but I still expected it to resemble the picture. Very disappointed.nat*nat

To get the wig to look like the one in the picture, it needed some work. Fortunately, my wife managed to style it into an acceptable shape and with some of her hairspray it ended up looking fine. On a material note, it is quite rough on the inside, and i ended up cutting up an old hat that I wore on my head first, then i placed the wig onto this. I am quite sparse on top. I managed to wear it comfortably for 4 hours! To be honest, for the money it was OK. It was for a one off themed birthday party and will probably never be worn again.spudmmur0

I thought it was a complete ripoff. there was no wig , just two pig tails and a bandana. What's up with that. That is not a Wig and this was false advertising.John

This product appears well made and has a good price but the pictures of it are misleading. They call it a wig which would indicate a full wig. It is only pigtails and bandana. It requires a hat to be worn with it. Showing a guy wearing it with matching blond hair is completely misleading.DRMil

Although the price is reasonable, the quality is subpar and the product is not accurate to the advertised picture. The Farah Fawcett like "flicks" in the front, which drew me to the wig in the first place, were just two big fat curls that fell apart the second I pulled it out of the netting albeit gently. I tried to style it, but it's rather hopeless and doesn't retain that 70's look. If you want a silly curled wig go for it, but if you want it for a 70's themed party like I did, STAY AWAY! Yes, go by the price, not so much the picture… the cheaper ones may look that same in the pictures… they are far from it… I had bought my husband the $40 one, oh my, maybe wear it to bed, not to any Elvis event…flimsy material, the print for the rhinestones was so washed out, hardly any color….now the Heritage is completely different…thicker material, lot of nail heads and metal stars, no silk screen on it… the belt is beautiful, and so adjustable…metal stars on the sleeves of the jump suit, the belt also…the only thing I have to change is the length, at least two inches, I had read reviews and knew I would have to shorten the jump suit… also ordered a large, not a extra large, it fits better on the top.. to make my husband a bit different I will be adding metal stars down the sides , and putting rhinestones all over the jump suit…enjoy…redhatter3772

Loved everything except the belt. Styrofoam with Velcro and plastic adornments. Weak sauce. Some stars fell off in transit, but that’s to be expected. Overall a fantastic costume.Shrek

Costume was great. I ordered 2 – one from Walmart and one from another site and the one from Walmart was awesome! the glitter really made the costume stand out. Also the pants were flared and the red at the bottom was a nice touch.lmp2016

This costume was perfect for dressing up for one of the largest car shows in the country! Fit perfectly except stitching was a bit off and there was a hole in the leg and cape. Definitely would recommend more costumes from here!ErinR

I'm 5'6" & 240lbs. This costume give me a LOT of room. I should try on a regular Large and see how it fits. The belt, however, was WAY too short. I have a 40inch waist, but you need to wear the belt across your belly button to cover the seam in the jumpsuit. So, I needed about 46". The belt, as is, might work if you are 38" across your midsection. If you're that small, you would probably easily fit into a Large. So, if you're a little hefty like me, expect to alter the belt. I added a few strips of 1" white elastic. The collar simply won't stay like in the picture. You are not supposed to iron this item, so getting the collar to stay up was a challenge. I pressed the collar with an iron (under a towel) to get it to crease, then I stitched a coated wire under the seam where no one would see it. The jumpsuit tends to flop open, so be ready to show of your chest hair. To solve this problem, I stitched another wire around the neck and bought the accessory red scarfs to cover it up. Then, the collar stayed up (mostly) and the suit didn't fall off my shoulders. The red scarf that comes with the jumpsuit is shorter and lighter in color than the accessory scarves, just to you are aware. At 5'6", this item was much too long. I ended up pinning the flare legs up about 4" but I was still stepping on them. I have wore it for several hours on two occasions and it has held up well. The printed on designs aren't coming off and it's not coming apart at the seams anywhere. Just be aware that you won't be able to hop into this thing and look exactly like the King…it will need some adjusting. The fabric is thin, so don't wear your leopard print thongs under it. And, it won't keep your shoulders warm if you're walking around on Halloween. The item is advertised as Aloha Elvis Costume. If you watch the actual Aloha from Hawaii concert, he had a red Lei and a white scarf, and he had white shoes (because so many Halloween parties hinge on historical accuracy…lol)scottwhite98
