I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. If you were going to design it to tie consider the length.It's not long enough to wrap around and come back to the front. So there is a lot of the tie hanging down in the back. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.
Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. I actually have this wig in multiple colors. This brand is very cheap but I love it. I usually have to do some plucking of it before wearing it but it’s totally worth it for the price and the feel. Most of their wigs are around 20 dollars. This brand always has lace on the front every time I have bought a wig from them. Even if it’s a little piece, it does help it look more natural as compared to some of the other brands I have used.krysi.h

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. If I could, I’d give this a ZERO! Normally I do not give negative reviews, but I am making an exception in this case. The wig looks nothing like the picture. If any of you are familiar with the Carol Burnett show where Vicki Lawrence played mama, that old mama wig looks better than this one. I would not bury my grandma in this wig. When I called to return it, I found out that approximately $9 would be deducted. That was almost three weeks ago and I still do not have the refund. After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol
A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary
I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I tried it on, and it looked ridiculous. The wigs were supposed to be the exact same style, but they were not.Linda
