STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. It is not a yaki texture of hair as advertised. It is very shiny and artificial in appearance. It looks like a wig! The bottom of the wig flips up when it is shown as a shag affect (a tapered downward curl. The bottom portion of the wig is sparse. It looks like hair is missing not like a feathered affect. I wrote with a question and you were kind enough to respond to my concerns. One was that I wanted to get more curl definition and thought I could use a curling iron but you advised against it. However, no alternative was offered. I started looking at and considering this wig when it sold for $29.99. It has steadily increased in the clearance price. Now it is up to $39.99! The experience has soured me on buying wigs online- which is unfortunate as the actual brick and mortar shops have shutdown during the pandemic. Even before, the shops were in decline. I thought it pretty safe to buy from a company associated with the product line of Diahann Carroll. And also the product itself would be quality and true to the descriptors used. I was considering 2 other wigs but have decided to go another way. Great photo but not the wig received. You should share this review with the Diahann Carroll folks. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I bought this same wig in off-black several years ago. Had studio pictures taken in it and I looked fabulous!! So, when I saw it in the new catalog in a new color, I had to have it! I had purchased this wig BEFORE and I was truly please with the texture and the style however this time the wig was not what I had expected. Due to my excitement and anticipation expecting what I had received before I had removed all the tags on the wig and was unable to return it to your company. I purchased these two wigs (Olivia and Felicity) for my college homecoming this past weekend. I waited to try them once I traveled there. To my dismay, neither of them looked like the picture. This looks really nice on except for the fact that all the wigs I buy that are not short…. the hair on the sides always have this "pointy pointy" jutting up pieces of hair… at least on one side of the wigs, which I think look unnatural. And if my hairdresser trims the off, then there is visibly less hair left on that side and doesn't balance with the other side. And, why is it that ANY WIG I CHOOSE TO BUY….. NEVER is available in Petite Size…NEVER!! EVEN WIGS I'M JUST THINKING ABOUT BUYING ONLY COME IN ONE SIZE-average!
