About the site: I dont think the color ‘swatches' are enough to determine color and they should provide actual full photos of each color. Or at least have a link to a universal color key. I had no idea what T4/27 even means. Can someone explain why don’t they they at least tell you what color the model has on in the photo? About the wig: I ordered several of these because I was unclear about the colors. The T4/27 is mostly a brassy gold / copper color, some dark undertones at the root, but not enough to blend with my dark brown natual hair. In general the curls were not as defined at the photo. It's a lot of hair and I had to shape mine to my face and cut it slightly. Not sure how long it will last (I suspect two weeks with daily wear) before I toss it. I buy synthetic units to quickly change color or to wear under hats.J C.
I absolutely love this wig. I have been wearing it on and off forever. Once I receive it, I shake it and beat it to perfection. Apparently the color that I love is discontinued. That color is BT 4888. I will search high and low to find it again. But until then I will have to settle for a different color.Lanita

I bought this wig yesterday to wear on my wedding day. (Yeah, I have hair, but who bothers????). This wig is absolutely gorgeous and I am sure those that don't know it's not mine will be able to tell the difference. i was trying on the wig and something snagged my wig cap. i check and there is a piece of metal sticking out! it had broken through the material. i had to use pliers to get it out! after that no issues. it's a nice wig. super full and curly so i used rat tail comb to untangle the coils. I didnt like bang so i used a curling iron to curl it. i flattened down curls in top because it was looking a lil too 70s for me. ive washed twice already. back gets tangled of course, but it combs out and recurls nicely with medium heat. i recommend. it's worth it.La T.

I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I own various Gabor styles and love them all. Really like Gabor's lacefronts as they are so natural and well done. I used to wear timeless beauty a lot but wanted a somewhat shorter similiar style. I purchased this in sunlit chestnut my usually color for Gabor. It's a very pretty classic looking bob. It is indeed shorter then timeless beauty and swingier. Like most wigs with long sideswept bangs it does tend to flop in my face but i will steam and train it and wear a clip. It's a very beautiful style and happy with my purchase.Jennifer G.
Item photo doesn't accurately show the way the hair actually falls. In the photo, the hair falls around the face in a way that allows the models full face to be seen. The wig received falls much more forward and straight down from the part line, so the result is literally half my face being obscured. Nothing I did would persuade the hair to do anything other than fall down over my face. Tried pushing it back a little, running fingers through to sort of reorder the hairs in that direction, and also tried putting it behind my ears, which didn't work out at all given the way the cap fits. Between this problem and the extremely fake looking part line, it was embarrassingly obvious it was a wig and could never be mistaken for anybody's natural hair style. I would never leave my house looking like that, which was kind of the goal. Very sorry I spent that much money on something completely useless.
Soft & Subtle in GL 6-30 was my first foray into beachy waves, and I love her! There's a little bit of permatease at the top, but not much, so she doesn't seem too "wiggy" for me. I wish that the curls were a bit more structured – I wouldn't necessarily wear her for a special occasion – but she's great for an unfussy, casual look. She comes across as very natural, as if I'd just stepped out of the shower and I had wavy hair that just dried that way, so I feel comfortable wearing her for day-to-day activities. I have a 21.75-inch circumference, and the petite-average fits well with just a little extra room at the crown; an average-large would definitely have been too large for me. Overall, I think she's a great everyday style for someone who is seeking a relaxed, informal look and wants to experiment with something wavy at a reasonable price point (especially with discounts).Patricia L.

I have been suffering from thinning hair on my front and top head for several years. I often wear Kimono, Japanese traditional clothes. So, I looked for a natural and good wig harmonizing with Kimono. I need to make that wig up-styling. Simply Flawless much exceeded my expectations. It is very easy for me to make and arrange up-styling as seen on photos. Front Lace gives very natural hair line. Nobody cannot find I wear a wig. I have confidence to appear myself in public with wearing Simply Flawless and was freed from my worries. I want to try other front lace wig. I bought my first at 50% to mostly experiment with professional cutting to a mid-size bob. Then I tried successfully loose curling with steam and rollers. I left it down and used small berets and claw clips to create different looks. All very nice and easy to manage. Wash every other week by turning wig inside out and swish around in synthetic wig soap or mild laundry detergent and cool water to keep curls in tact. Or use hot, tap water (not boiling water) to loosen the curls. You can straighten it using hand steamer and a comb. Curl again using hand steamer and curlers. Watch Youtube videos to learn how. Many possibilities even though this wig isn't heat friendly. I now love regular synthetics more than thick, over-coated, easily tangled heat friendly wigs. The lace part and cap is the best that I've seen with comfy (none bulky ear tabs). Ear tabs are well thought out for realistic. I would love for this to come in average size cap. I do make the petite work for me by using hot water to wash occasionally and drying on a foam head of 21.5" which is petite/avg…. so it stretches a little before applying to my head making it perfect fit.. not tight.Joanna E.
I was looking 2 custom cut since I don’t like many pre-cuts. 10/12 Sunlit Ches (matches description). Gabor’s color ring is accurate and the hair is fine/light and multi-dimensional. The color nearly matched my bio hair! Previously, I lost hope and bought a human hair wig Louis Ferre in Ginger Brown 50% off sale. After seeing many med brown colors, I found ginger nice so kept it because 50% off & make it my experimental piece, with hope! Ened up not liking L.F.’s thick hair. After deciding to keep it to customize, we tried "red out" with med brown neutral color to tone down. No damage done, but no change in color so lesson learned with pre-processed and Remy hair. Simple Flawless’s (All Gabor) lace front and mono tops are great. Fits my avg size head. Not shiny like with Jon Renau's & Raquel Welch's. I planned to cut it from its long glory to 14". But then I realized I don't like wearing "straight" on my shoulders at work. My coat on/off, cleaning/ stocking around the office causes straight hair to appear stiff/clumpy. Still hav 2 learn 2 prevent this. I cut it 2 med length. Make sure your stylist has experience with synthetics). I wore it for a wk after getting the 2nd cut and then decided to try curling it. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. This wig is fantastic. There is no fuss with this one. I just put it on and finger it here and there and I'm good to go. I just wish the light brown color I ordered was a little lighter. It seems Gabor's colors run dark. So I've also ordered the brown blonde which I haven't received yet. I'll see how that looks. But all in all, a great wig. People love it.Carol
I've owned many Gabor Wigs – but this… this one was absolutely horrid! The quality of hair fibers were rough, tough and frizzy. Purchased this because I liked the layers and feathered sides. But the wig I received had no shape or style to it – the hair was sticking up and was all over the place. It looked like someone tried thinning it -there were weird spots where it was thin and in other spots it was thick. Also, it is shorter than the picture. I am seriously displeased and disappointed with this wig! I can't even send it back because I desperately tried to get the wig to hold some sort of neat shape using styling cream (totally unsuccessful…). I'm glad I got this on sale and didn't pay full price! Gabor Wigs – if this is your new "standard" you are going to lose a long time and faithful customer – PLEASE improve your quality control!! Bottom line: fit was fine, color was "okay" (brown blonde), quality is very poor and style is hopeless.Debra C.

I like the cut and color (Oyster) of this wig. It's easy to wear (once my stylist trimmed the bangs away from my face). The lace front however, has dark spots that are visible to others in daylight. Therefore, I'm wearing this one at night only. FYI, I recently bought a Raquel Welch Classic Cool (in R61 Palest Pearl) too, and its lace front does not have that problem.Olivia B.
This adorable bob is so fun and perfect for summer. It's my first blonde wig so I decided to try the 12FS8 Shaded Praline. I usually wear brunette colors and the dark root is a easy way to transition to the blondes! Ignite is SO SOFT the HD fibers are beautiful and not as much shine as the regular synthetic fibers. I have not used any heat on her yet because the cut is so perfect the way it is. Ear tabs are a little short on me and this only matters because I have a shaved head so I like the coverage, but the style frames the face in a great way that it works. The cap construction all in all is comfortable and cool to wear. I want to get Ignite in more colors because it is just so cute! Highly recommend it!Joanna A.

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility.
