Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. This is a great wig. I haven't experienced any shedding. I have a 23.5 circumference head. The wig fits like a standard wig. I've worn it for over a week and it's kept its integrity. I only had to use my fingers to detangle the hair at the nape of my neck. I will use flex rods when need be. Whats really refreshing is the texture. Its organic looking. This is a beautiful wig at an unbelievable price. You can wear as is or curl it with hot curlers. The first one I purchased lasted about 6 months. I think it may have lasted longer but I like it curled. This recent purchase I bought two. The only altering I did to this wig was to shorten the sides and added elastic to the lace to give the edges a more realistic look and help hold in place. This wig will not disappoint. These are the first Twist-flex Rods that worked for me!! My hair is so thick that it usually slips right out but these were awesome. I recently just cut my 2c/3a hair to my shoulders and styling was a bit difficult at first but these made it so much easier. They feel sturdy and long lasting and my curls end up looking so adorable! I definitely need to buy another pack because 42 is barely enough for all my hair. All the different sizes make the end result look natural and the different colors make it easy for me to grab the size I need fast. I love these flexi rods they work great! There way better than the flexi rods I used by conair. I usually do a braid out on my hair before bed and at the ends/ mid section I put the flexi rods (I don't braid the ends where I put the flexi rods). The length of these flexi rods are good for me and I have medium length hair. I am African American with relaxed hair but once I take out these flexi rods my hair looks naturally curly 🙂 Also these should work on any hair texture as long as you put them in correctly and leave them in long enough.
