I tried this wig on a few nights before Halloween. I had purchased it to go with my new Cleopatra costume. The hair is black and the band is gold, but the bangs are very odd. When you put the wig on your head, the bangs will stick straight out. You can't pull the gold band down enough (b/c it's sewn in) to make the bangs stick to your head. I tried rearranging the wig on my head in multiple ways to get it to look right. The only option I could foresee was to use a straightener and try to curl the bangs under a bit so they won't stick out so much, but I didn't know if that would ruin the wig and burn the hair. I was just really disappointed that I wasn't not able to use this wig at all. They did ship it to me fast so that was a nice perk.shotokan1480

I was quite shocked at how bad this wig looks out of the package. I tamed it down a bit and might have kept it if the Cleopatra costume had worked for me. With the headpiece on the wig might be ok for a one time use but nothing more. Okay if you have a headband but would not recommend alone.ncgirl1971
