Very pleased with the quality of the wig especially for the price $25. I usually buy preplucked lacefronts at around $60 and so this is a great beautiful wig for learning customizing even though it doesn’t need tons but if your a novice at that like me. It’s very light weight on my head. The density and hair thickness are perfect for believeable daily wear. Now it’s synthetic shiny so it definitely needs dry shampoo. Optional foundation for the hairline and optional plucking but the hairline looks pretty darn good without it so that’s just to up it a notch to believability. I’ve enclosed pics straight from out of the box to display OP430 in natural lighting. I bought 4 packs of black and 1 pack of the deep wine, but since I have my sides and back shaved then of course I have plenty of locs left over (and I'm glad that I do). Usually I'll do my faux locs myself by starting with Senegalese twists then by rapping them which, of course, would take forever so this was my first using crochet locs. They are definitely springy, but beware because if they get tugged at the ends on accident then they will just hang and not spring back. I already had to cut some ends because of such actions. Also, I noticed some were not made as well as others, so make sure you get an extra pack. Some were "puffy" so my hair isn't hiding as well as it should be (I did individual crocheting). I do love the look though but removed a star based of said flaws. I took another star off because the website was being glitchy. I used the website via my phone and when trying to add stuff other than the locs, my whole cart would be emptied. It did this several times, so I just gave up and only purchased the locs. When I went to purchase the locs, the total jumped by $1, which is no big deal because it was just a dollar but the fact that it jumped like that concerned me. But at the end of the day, I would recommend and use this hair again. It did get frizzy and snaggy the second day but nothing major yet. Also, I noticed the deep wine holds up better than the black. The only way this wig could be any better was if it just lasted a tad longer and if the curl pattern never fell. It looks more realistic as the curls fall, but it dries at the ends and will eventually need to be straightened, perhaps trimmed or cut and then converted to bun or workout hair. In the meantime though, you get MAD compliments – many people don't even realize its not my bio hair. I wear it regularly in 1B and recently switched to OP61327 (613 Platinum blonde ombre with 1B roots and strategically placed 27 and/or 30 for dimension and shine). I absolutely love it – I'm a whole different person. Only thing that Freetress could offer any better was if this colour came in Karissa's length and density. Kit Ron is not for the faint of heart! She is long and big! Full ringlets! Colors are gorge! Have done the Op30 & 27 as well as the 12244 for mor suddle highlights. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. When I went to purchase the locs, the total jumped by $1, which is no big deal because it was just a dollar but the fact that it jumped like that concerned me. But at the end of the day, I would recommend and use this hair again. It did get frizzy and snaggy the second day but nothing major yet. Also, I noticed the deep wine holds up better than the black. The only way this wig could be any better was if it just lasted a tad longer and if the curl pattern never fell. It looks more realistic as the curls fall, but it dries at the ends and will eventually need to be straightened, perhaps trimmed or cut and then converted to bun or workout hair. In the meantime though, you get MAD compliments – many people don't even realize its not my bio hair. I wear it regularly in 1B and recently switched to OP61327 (613 Platinum blonde ombre with 1B roots and strategically placed 27 and/or 30 for dimension and shine). I absolutely love it – I'm a whole different person. Only thing that Freetress could offer any better was if this colour came in Karissa's length and density. Freetress Ramona hasn't been on the market for very long but it has already become a cult classic, and for good reason. The hairline is beautiful and undetectable, blends seamlessly with almost no effort. You can even wear it straight back and it looks amazing. Be careful not to cut too much lace off. I'm not a fan of the super bumped ends but a few wears and a couple washes should take care of that. Also a note on the #4 color, it's darker than Freetress' other #4 wigs. I would say it's more like a #2. Normally I wear a #4, but FH Sweet brown is my go to here. Will buy this again and again.Serena

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I wasn't sure if this wig would fit me or look natural, considering I have very long hair, and it's a different color than my blonde hair color. I was extremely surprised by the beauty and depth of the Medium Red shade that I ordered. Once I had wrapped and clipped my natural hair to the back of my head and tried on the wig with the cap, I was amazed by how natural it looked, and how easy to style.
i tried it on – the cap is good sized – maybe too big for me. the style is a classic simple look – with no permatease that i could detect. i like permatease, done right it gives a wig style and shape. i sent it back. wasnt right for me. but if you want a classic style – this would be a good choice.

Kit Ron is not for the faint of heart! She is long and big! Full ringlets! Colors are gorge! Have done the Op30 & 27 as well as the 12244 for mor suddle highlights. Parting space is nice but will need to tweeze part and fill in with powder/ foundation to make a more natural looking unit. Only real negative is Lace is thick and hard. More of an issue as the unit ages. Not much shedding. Fair amount of tangling after prolonged wear. Solid unit. Great for a carefree, natural look.Tiffanie B.

I got this hair on the weekend of my birthday, and next week going to make it about a month. The first week it was so beautiful long, then it started to get tangles and matted. My solution for that was, I cut it , rub some synthetic wig moisturizing spray or fabric softener between the palm of my hands, run my hands all over the hair and then brush it. Believe me, my curls stays in place and I get little to no tangles throughout the day. This hair is beautiful, you just have to work with it.Aniota L.

Arrived in 3-4 days, price competitive. Alot of hair! It would be great if you could make this in an 18" length and thin out some. I found it was to long to manage due to the thickness of it. Not really an every day wearable wig, tangles to much. I enjoy wearing it but choose wisely on days I can. Windy days will not work. Parting well I'm a WHITE girl lace L part is way to dark for me, so I can't wear it down as I would love to. Concealer does not work a lighter color option would be great for the lace.
