I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. There are a lot of us natural redheads that would love a short brighter red wig, such as Rachel Welch wig color "Glazed Fire". I would like to suggest that Hairdo and QVC start offering more wigs that are a brighter red for their redheaded customers. I will have to be happy with my nice n easy hair coloring. The wig I received today was Not the Color I ordered or not even the correct product. I am showing a lot of gray and I purchased the bob hairdo in a brow color. I got a wig that has more gray in it than my own hair. The wig also has some sort of a white cotton cap sewn into the inside of the wig. Not once did I see any of the models or the hosts that were trying on wigs show this white cap on the inside of the wig. My wig did not come with the nylon head cap that all of the models were wearing. I have heard of bait and switch but now I have experienced it. This wig will be returned. I have never worn a wig before, but due to some health issues the past year, my hair has become very thin, which is very disheartening to say the least. Now why would they put a white liner, and I know it was done for sanitary reasons, inside the wig making it so difficult to try it on. If you do remove the liner, it can't be returned which makes it even more frustrating. Very poor policy QVC and hairdo! Also, it stated in the presentation you would receive a "wig cap" and even says that in the description for the product, but I did not receive one, why not? I will probably keep my wig because I do like the style and the color, but I'm still not sure of the fit. Please QVC, stand by your product, and give us the correct information and, hopefully get rid of that liner! I do not recommend this to other customers due to the presence of the liner.CaroleE12
I have close to 20 wigs. Purchased the Graceful Bob in Medium Brown/Gold. Stunning cut. This is my first Hairdo purchase and I had concerns about the color being too dark, would it look too wiggy? There was a drum roll when I opened my box and I was pleasantly surprised. NO issues. Lovely soft brown with highlights and not wiggy at all. When I put it on there is a white paper/cloth like lining. I had never seen that before but moved forward with putting it on. I like it and will keep it but the bangs were a little long so I carefully trimmed them. Not concerned because I do that all the time. So, perfection….. Now lets look at this lining. It is paper like and carefully tears out where there is a little stitch. OK so makes sense these days for added protection. Caution … That paper cap adds bulk when trying on the wig. So much so I had to trim more off my bangs because the wig fit much better. So, to those of you that think it is too tight it may be the paper inside. I think the hosts do need to mention that in the presentation. If they have I missed it. The color was very true to the display presentation with all the wigs lined up. Easy to freeze that frame on the computer and stare at it. Hope this helps those on the fence.Puppymeister

I adore the new Parisian Bob by Forever Young. I got mine in color 16/613HL. I cut the three back wefts out, pulled wig back on my head and secured with wig clips. After curling my hair with spiral wand I was able to seamlessly camouflage the front hairline. The curl pattern to be is reminiscent of the Glow Girl but not as thick and heavy.
