20 Frizzy Synthetic Wig For Sale (2024 Update)

I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! If you have any worries about people thinking you’re wearing a wig “let it go” because no one will have a clue. Wish I could leave pics because it is stunning!Sherry

I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah

I can't tell you how much I love this wig! But I'll try. First off, let me say I was really skeptical about this wig cause I had never worn a wig with such short hair. I'm usually going for mid length to long haired wigs. I wanted to try something knew and go outside my comfort zone for my birthday. I'm so glad that I did. EVERYONE was complementing me! This is a wonderful wig. It has a nice part in which some thought I had gotten a 27pc or gotten my hair cut. Also it doesn't look or feel that much like synthetic hair. I simply love this wig. It is so cute the cut is perfect, ear tabs are on point. I have brought other wigs from Ebonyline, they always deliver quality wigs. They are always on point with shipping it's never a question with Ebonyline. I have gotten other wigs from other companies.. The order process was easy. The delivery service was quick despite the pandemic and to top it all, I love love love love love my wigs (3)!!! I was blessed to receive the blueberry wig as a gift several years ago and I wear it primarily daily. I'm beginning to wear the edges out with perspiration of course not because of the quality of the wig. So I had to have another on reserve for later. While I was at it, I purchase two more in different colors. Overall I still love these wigs. I love the quality. I love that it doesn't shed. Most of all I love that it doesn't tangle. Loved Dylan in shade 14/26A so much that I bought another one in shade 24/14. Dylan can be worn straight out of the box. The wavy curls look natural and feel so feminine. When they loosen, just spray with water and scrunch for beautiful wavy curls.Andrea

I've purchased several wigs from Paul Young and have been extremely satisfied with the fit, color and quality. They are comfortable, stylish, and sometimes I even forget I'm wearing a wig! I've had several complements on how nice my hair looks and little do most people know I'm wearing a wig! My latest purchase is the Dylan wig and I'm really happy with it. Arrived via USPS in very good condition, with normal time frame for USPS. The wig was easy to put on and take off. There were instructions for all of my purchase. I lost my hair within 6 days due to chemotherapy, so the helpful instructions were appreciated. The wig was similar to the online photo, but less curly, and that was a slight disappointment. Since it had just arrived at my time of need I am very thankful for the purchase. I have ordered 2 more different styles with some additional accessories. I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I wish this wig came in a hand tied cap, but that’s my ONLY complaint, if you can call that a complaint.Kyra

I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. The lace front is not as itchy as some have been and I love getting hair off my neck and off the face. Great little style and ordered two more right away.Therese W.

Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. I own two of these wigs–one of which is in Ice Latte Macchiato and the other is in Shaded Biscuit. (This review pertains to the Shaded Biscuit version of On In 10) On In 10 is beautiful, budget friendly, and the bob hairstyle was my favorite way to wear my bio hair. But not even my own bio hair could ever rock a bob like this wig! I confess that I ordered On In 10 in Iced Latte Macchiato from a different online wig retailer because they were offering it at a lower price. I must say with all honesty, that wig is far superior to the Shaded Biscuit one I bought here. I loved On In 10 so much I decided I wanted a second one in another color. I purchased it here because I wanted to take advantage of the weekend sale and order On In 10 in the beautiful Shaded Biscuit. I also had some points I wanted to use, plus I love the wonderful customer service I always receive here. The biggest positive of On In 10 Shaded Biscuit is the color. It is absolutely stunning and I love the way it looks on me. I am a cool skin tone and it flatters my pale skin perfectly. Also, I have green eyes and Shaded Biscuit really makes them stand out. And as usual, the wig arrived quickly and was packaged with care. Unfortunately, though there are a couple of negatives I must pass along: while my Iced Latte Macchiato version of On in 10 fit me beautifully from the start, I noticed at first that this Shaded Biscuit one fit a bit tight. Not so tight as to give me a headache or cause distress, but tight enough to feel a bit uncomfortable. I double checked and indeed I ordered the correct size (my head circumference is on the higher end of average). I had it adjusted the same way as I did my other On In 10, but it just wasn't fitting right. At first I thought I might have to return the wig. But I love this Shaded Biscuit so much and wanted to try hard to work with it. Eventually, though, the cap stretched out and it does fit better now. However even though it fits better, the cap is nowhere near as comfortable as my Iced Latte Macchiato On In 10 that I purchased from a different online retailer. Also with this Shaded Biscuit I received, the side swept bangs were too long to the point they were annoying. I have a short forehead but on my Iced Latte Macchiato On In 10, the side swept bangs stay in place and don't keep falling down. I eventually had to alter the Shaded Biscuit wig and trim in some bangs because that was driving me crazy having that falling down in my eyes all the time. One other thing that's different with my Shaded Biscuit On In 10 is that I have to spend more time getting it prepped when I put it on. My Iced Latte Macchiato is gorgeous and easy to work with: I just throw it on, arrange it a bit and go. The Shaded Biscuit one, however, gets lots of fly-aways and I have to keep messing with it and tinkering with it to have it look the way I like. I am going to try shampooing the wig today and see if maybe that might help it. I like my wigs to be low maintenance where I don't have to constantly fuss with them.. Definitely my Shaded Biscuit version of On In 10 is much higher maintenance (to me) than my much better behaved Iced Latte Macchiato version. I am unsure if maybe somehow I got a, for want of a better word "defective" wig, because how do two On In 10 wigs, whose only difference is their color, behave so differently? While I adore the Shaded Biscuit color and it's become my new favorite blonde shade, I definitely like wearing my Iced Latte Macchiato On in 10 better because it seems to be much more well made, easier to work with and I didn't have to alter it whatsoever. Trust me–I really did hate having to cut in bangs on my Shaded Biscuit On In 10 and I don't like altering any wig in general. Sorry for my long winded review, but I wanted to give as many details as possible in hopes it helps others make an informed decision. Also my 4 star review is about my experiences with On In 10 Shaded Biscuit because my other one is awesome. In conclusion, I want to add that I certainly don't hold WigStudio1 at fault over this or HairUWear. No one is to blame; these things happen sometimes–no one could foresee this happening. When wearing this bob I feel extra feminine and pretty. A colleague asked how I have the time to curl my hair every day, so it has passed the test 😀 The cap is comfortable and petit in size. I would have preferred if the darkest shade was used for the strands of hair that is attached to the front lace to make the scalp less visible My experience with Raquel welch’s wigs is that the fibers is light and smooth and in general stunning to begin with, but quickly drops in quality after a few uses. The fibers tangles easy and the locks of hair gather in larger separate parts (ref. pictures), the ends tiles up and the color gets dull: which almost gives a felted look. It demands lots of detangling and even trimming after some weeks. Even though I would by this one again since it gives such a wow factor. Simmer has lots of volume, the middle part is dark (thumbs up), the density is good and the color lives up to it’s expectations I have this in RL8/29SS Shaded Hazelnut which is a rooted colour: Warm Medium Brown Evenly Blended with Ginger Blonde with Dark Roots.Kristin

I got Go for it in shadow shade licorice. The fit is great, the look perfect. Like all RW wigs, it needs thinning on the top. That said, the length is great, side coverage excellent, and a great shade of gray!! I would recommend this hair to anyone who doesn't mind thinning it or having their stylist do it. I would love to see this in 100% hand tied with an extended lace front! I will be getting another, probably in a different shade!Darylann H.

I tried this wig on in a store today….I love pixies and summer is getting hot so I wanted something new, but not necessarily "trendy" (I am 55 years old) This wig is perfect! It has long layers that fluff up perfectly and with a little cream will stay in place (SO important in summer!) The nape is short enough, but not too short, it stayed in place well. It only has a lace front (I am a spoiled lace front, mono top, 100% hand tied wig type of woman) but it is cut so well that you can easily hide the permatease with minimal work and product. THIS is a keeper!Julie

Absolutely love this wig. Its comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the texture is great so it'll blend in perfectly with your own natural hair. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. The wig is full so there is no gaps or nothing like that when you wear it. I got the color 1b and it blended in very well with my own hair. Gorgeous wig. Got lots of compliments on it. I love the curls on this unit. Not too big, not too small. Its an easy wig to pop on and go. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol

A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary

I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

My first short unit! I absolutely love Ms. Charlie! This is a sassy little cut that started a chain reaction for me. I have typically worn extremely long units, until it got super hot this summer and I just couldn't take that much hair on my head. I have 100% hair loss and a sensitive scalp. I bought this one to wear around the house with a thick cotton liner on those days when I need a break from the adhesives I use with my 100% hand tied wigs. It's a great style. I wish it came in a 100% hand tied version WITHOUT that cone-head "bump" on the crown that's so unnatural. Since it's a wear-away-from-the-face style, the lace front should be ear-to-ear instead of just the crown. Please find a more comfortable lace because the standard is itchy. The Glazed Strawberry bills itself as a "light red" but it reads as brown. I wish more wig manufacturers offered light reds that look honestly red, not brown, not orange/ginger, but real red strawberry blonde with blonde streaks. Glazed Strawberry is nice but just too dark and too brown.Tish

I adore Voltage! I first got her in SS11/29 Shaded Nutmeg, but I have warm olive (green) skin, and the overall reddish tone of the wig clashes, so I almost never wear her. But she fit so well and was such a lovely style, I decided to buy Voltage in a color I would actually wear. I got the R511G – Gradient Charcoal. She's so pretty, but for some reason, this wig doesn't seem as full or as long as the SS11/29. If it were identical but for color, it'd earn 5 glorious stars from me. I'm mildly disappointed — I still love this wig! (But now that Trend Setter comes in Large cap…)Karen M.

My own hair needed a break from colouring and hairspray, so I decided to order the Sparkle wig about a year ago, and wear it for 6 months. My photo is the Sparkle wig…colour Mocha Foil. loved it so much, that I now wear a wig all the time. The colour and style are similar to my own hair, which has been thinning over the years. I receive compliments frequently, asking who does my cut and colour. My answer is always the same…VogueWigs! Always love the look of surprise! I now have two of each style of wig.
