I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. I wish I could find a similar style from a different brand. Gabor is becoming lazy, the cap is low quality, the lace front bunches up so it's a factory flaw, but unfortunately, I thought it was me so I already altered it & can't return it. I've been buying this exact one for a couple years and noticed with the last 3 that the quality has been declining. This one? $327 in the toilet. It's unbearable. This was the first wig I ever purchased and right out of the box it was great. I made no adjustments to the cut or style and the amount of hair felt natural to me. Many other wigs I feel like have too much body or hair for my petite head and they overwhelm me. I got the 8/29 color and was surprised that is has some, although very few, grey/white strands. I don't mind this and over all think the color is great. My problem with it is that the ends got damaged VERY quickly and I did everything right in taking care of it. I started seeing a difference within a week or two and it was completely ruined within 2 months. I think it damages more quickly because the ends are right at the neck line of most of my coats and shirts, so rubs a lot more. I had read in some others' reviews that it fits their petite head size well, but I feel it is still a bit larger than I would like. I tightened the straps further than the normal max to make it work. I have still decided to re-purchase because I have tried on many other more expensive wigs that I liked less overall. So, buying this one again to get me through the next two months will be worth it.Kristina
Agree with all the other reviewers that love the style but find the fiber quality lacking. I have been wearing wigs for a number of years now and have many more than I should have – this one, by far, has aged very poorly in comparison – and I am being generous with the term "aged" as the bottom 3-4 inches became incredibly coarse, tangled and frizzy with just a couple of wearings. I have HD fibers that have worn better than this non-heat friendly wig. Am careful to use smoothing detangler with every wear and to comb out gently with a wide-toothed comb. Also give the ends a very light misting of silicone spray. The only thing that has helped (ever so slightly) was a soaking in cool water with fabric softener added but here, too, within a couple of wearings, the piece was back to a frizzy mess. My next step is to try the slightest amount of heat on the ends and/or possibly a little trim – if I ruin the wig, no matter, since it is essentially unwearable anyway. Such a shame – the style is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE EVER! If anyone knows of a "sister style" to this wig in another brand, I would love to hear about it.KPandTheG

I wasn't sure if this wig would fit me or look natural, considering I have very long hair, and it's a different color than my blonde hair color. I was extremely surprised by the beauty and depth of the Medium Red shade that I ordered. Once I had wrapped and clipped my natural hair to the back of my head and tried on the wig with the cap, I was amazed by how natural it looked, and how easy to style.
i tried it on – the cap is good sized – maybe too big for me. the style is a classic simple look – with no permatease that i could detect. i like permatease, done right it gives a wig style and shape. i sent it back. wasnt right for me. but if you want a classic style – this would be a good choice.

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

Chemo did a major number on my hair, which was fine and on the thinner side. Want a wig as natural looking as possible for back to work soon. This is the 3rd one I’ve ordered and finally a keeper, with the style And color! Not too thick, and not too salon-styled or fancy looking. A nice everyday look! The bangs are not as heavy as shown in the photo which I also like. I pulled some of the hair from the top, to the back and clipped with a barrette and left some side-swept and wispy bangs. It looked SO nice, and not as thick from the front. I spritzed with a little of the synthetic hair spray and it worked great. You can also wear some of it behind the ears. The front hairline is SO real looking. I like all the cap features and still need to change the part a little; will probably need to wet it down to help reset that. I’ve only worn it once so far, out to lunch yesterday and didn’t feel self conscious, at all. I got the color GL 12-16 Golden Walnut. I love it!! It’s a darker kind of a more dishwater blonde, like My hair was. And the variation of colors and highlights are really nicely blended and not chunky. It’s hard to tell from the little color pics online, and I’ve watched countless helpful YouTube wig reviewers and there’s such a difference in lighting, and how wigs look in person. I have purchased many Gabor wigs and even bought the non luxury Premium the week after this purchase. This wig frayed on the bottom 4 to 5 inches of the wig all around within 3 days!! The non luxury wig I have has not frayed in the past week I've worn it. This wig is much larger than the non luxury and hair is a bit thicker.
