I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

This was my first wig, and I now own 4 of this style! I have my own hair. It is naturally curly and I can no longer style it because of health reasons. THIS is the style I've always wanted/worked for in my blowouts followed by curling iron! I first bought it in a monochrome color (hazelnut) and didn't think it was as naturally looking as I would have liked. I then got three rooted (hazelnut and honeyed toast x 2) and absolutely loved them! Have received many compliments. I'm not positive this size is the best for me (I was remote teaching so little risk) but may size up as I "go live". I also saw slight differences in how each of my four ladies were styled! I like this wig. I am returning it, but I like it. I got this in color GL14-22SS which is supposed to be a sandy blond with darker roots. As you can see from the pictures there really is no difference between the roots and the hair, and it is all really light colored for me. I will be getting a new one in a darker color like GL16-27SS. My other mild complaint is that for some reason the ear area fits a little weird on me, though I have a petite head. Soft & Subtle in GL 6-30 was my first foray into beachy waves, and I love her! There's a little bit of permatease at the top, but not much, so she doesn't seem too "wiggy" for me. I wish that the curls were a bit more structured – I wouldn't necessarily wear her for a special occasion – but she's great for an unfussy, casual look. She comes across as very natural, as if I'd just stepped out of the shower and I had wavy hair that just dried that way, so I feel comfortable wearing her for day-to-day activities. I have a 21.75-inch circumference, and the petite-average fits well with just a little extra room at the crown; an average-large would definitely have been too large for me. Chemo did a major number on my hair, which was fine and on the thinner side. Want a wig as natural looking as possible for back to work soon. This is the 3rd one I’ve ordered and finally a keeper, with the style And color! Not too thick, and not too salon-styled or fancy looking. A nice everyday look! The bangs are not as heavy as shown in the photo which I also like. I pulled some of the hair from the top, to the back and clipped with a barrette and left some side-swept and wispy bangs. It looked SO nice, and not as thick from the front. I spritzed with a little of the synthetic hair spray and it worked great. You can also wear some of it behind the ears. The front hairline is SO real looking. I like all the cap features and still need to change the part a little; will probably need to wet it down to help reset that. I’ve only worn it once so far, out to lunch yesterday and didn’t feel self conscious, at all. I got the color GL 12-16 Golden Walnut. I love it!! It’s a darker kind of a more dishwater blonde, like My hair was. And the variation of colors and highlights are really nicely blended and not chunky. It’s hard to tell from the little color pics online, and I’ve watched countless helpful YouTube wig reviewers and there’s such a difference in lighting, and how wigs look in person. I have purchased many Gabor wigs and even bought the non luxury Premium the week after this purchase. This wig frayed on the bottom 4 to 5 inches of the wig all around within 3 days!! The non luxury wig I have has not frayed in the past week I've worn it. This wig is much larger than the non luxury and hair is a bit thicker. Folly was one of my first wigs. When I first started, it seemed like so much hair because I was used to having such fine thin hair, and I did thin it a little. I now wish that I had not, because I went a little too far in one spot. After trying out many more wigs, and owning several different styles, I realize now that this is a low density wig. The best part is that even though it is low density, it really covers all of the wefts, and I never have to worry about wefts showing, even during windy conditions. I have done waterparks with this one, and it is perfect even drenched. The only downside I can give this affordable wig is that there is no way to wear the hair without bangs. It is tough to even push them to the side and have it look normal. The way it is sewn into the front only allows for pretty much straight down bangs. Also, note that there are no monofillament features in this wig at all. There is permatease to cover the wefts on the top, but it is not poofy at all. You just need to get creative in how you part it.brahm
I have alopecia and have been wearing wigs for 10 yrs. I was looking for the shorter bob that Folly is. When I received it I was happy with the color and style and even initial appearance but at closer inspection I noticed that the hair barely covers the wefting in the back. If the wind blows anyone can see you right thru to your scalp or hair. Also the crown where the hair comes out of looks very poor and you can see thru that also. It's a shame because the style is very cute. I will now have to keep it just to wear in the house, because of the sparse hair it is cool and light.
