The Farah Fawcett like "flicks" in the front, which drew me to the wig in the first place, were just two big fat curls that fell apart the second I pulled it out of the netting albeit gently. Easy to put on with the help of assistant who checks it's the right way round. Looks good, unlike many fancy dress wigs I've used, this one really does look like the publicity photo on the package. Maintains it's shape and doesn't flap about, even after a few quick changes. The specs are a nice addition, although I haven't used them as I use a metal framed set for my act. I needed this costume for a show I'm putting on in June and unfortunately costume fittings were held 6 days after the guaranteed return allowance of 30 days. I acknowledge that was my fault, but I had no intentions of returning it because I thought it would fit at least one of my students. This costume has such tight elastic in the sleeves…it did not fit ANY of my elementary age students comfortably. Also, the crown is a piece of folded plastic which retains its misshapen form even on a child's head. I'm now stuck with this awful unusable costume because the company won't take it back! Wow! I bought this costume last year and realized it was completely inappropriate and problematic. The Day of the Dead is a historically significant holiday in Mexico. Wearing this costume exploited elements of that culture without actually acknowledging its history and its rich meaning. This costume reduces a complex tradition into a flimsy outfit for one-time use. I'm giving this costume one-star because Halloween is all about having fun and enjoying ourselves-but it doesn't have to be at the expense of cultures, histories and entire traditions. If you want to celebrate the Day of the Dead I recommend learning more about it and it's meaning, instead of wearing it as a costume because you think it looks cool.Haha

Clearly, I accidently judged a book by it's cover. And I judged the photo comparing it to the actual product. It's amazing how it fits but of course the long pieces on the sides are rather short and you get two long strands of hair in the front. I'm guessing with a little styling I can make it look like the photo but I was really hoping to buy a wig that compliments my face. This wig is honestly JUST there. A good 8 out of 10 rating from me. My daughter tried it on and it insatlty ripped she is a small 13 years old and got the xsmall. The jacket was missing and we didn’t get it. The shorts are incredibly short and too inappropriate for kids and even women! The shirt was a crop but the printing was horrible and when I washed it It came straight off in the washing machine. NEVER EVER BUY THIS MY DAUGHTER IS DISAPPOINTED.Annoyed

I wear a 10 so I ordered a regular since it was supposed to fit up to a size 12. I couldn't even get it on. I had no time to get another costume for a Wizard of Oz theme party, so, I had to cut the sleeves and the back of the dress OFF. I enlarged the opening of the puff sleeve top until my arms could go through. The bottom sleeve had to be thrown away. I sewed power net into the dress back. I bought wings to cover the back and opera gloves to replace the sleeves. After sewing all day the costume was a HUGE hit, but if you can't sew it's a big NO.

I read the reviews and it was running small. Ordered an XL to be on the safe side – my height and weight was within the low size range. Dress was so big I had to take in the waist and bodice about 4 inches each. Even with taking the dress in that much it was still too big. The elastic on the sleeves was okay. Would not want it any tighter. I also removed the bodice decoration and moved the large butterfly to the waist.
