I've gone through hundreds of cans of this stuff over the past 5 years. It's an absolutely awesome product and is the best on the market. I'm writing this review because of two issues that I've consistently experienced over the years, that would be awesome if they could be improved and, if it is improved, this hairspray would be literally perfect. The first one is that about 1 out of every 3 (minimum) of the cans I purchase stop working properly with around 1/2 to 1/3 of spray left in the can. I've tried all the tricks cleaning the nozzle, removing it, etc., to no avail. It will either just sputter out a bad mix of propellant and spray, or you can hear a little bit of propellant coming out, with no spray along with it. The can becomes effectively useless. The second issue, much smaller, is the consistency between batches with regards to the fragrance (which fortunately goes away once the spray dries). One out of about every 15-20 cans will have quite a strange odor that honestly smells literally like a garbage can. And within this past month, almost every can I purchased had a different, new strange odor that's a bit hard to describe, but almost smells like… rotting olive oil? Again, very minor because the smell is only there when the spray is wet (or my hair gets a little wet after the spray dries), but still. Just spray the lace part use the back of a comb to make it flat on the forehead use the blow drier and bam you’re done. I love, love, love most of Jon Renau's products – especially the wig care products. The spray gel and shampoo are the best. This product is the exception. I think this product holds well, but it leaves a shiny coat on the hair that can make it look fake. I wish I could get this product to just act as a hairspray and not a glossy too, as it does keep hair in place.

I spray this stuff ALL OVER My hair squishing and stroking the hair down and gently running fingers through the tips. This has been instrumental in getting my hair back in shape! LOVE the scent! LOVE how it makes my hair feel. I CAN See how people would say this would dry it out?? BUT!! If I can suggest you NOT use it as a heat protectant. I don't feel it does that AT all LOL!! I've been seeing other comments that the new formula isn't as good as it used to be that it's softer. I was using a different gel for my baby hairs that left a greasy shine and ended up breaking me out in my hairline. I started Using this gel solely for my baby hairs to lay them down and I love it. I love the fresh clean smell it has and it's clear so it doesn't leave any streaks or cloudiness. I got this for the hold as I am an Elvis Tribute and have to use glue on my wig and sideburns. Other, lesser strength glues reacted with sweat and would feel as though they were losing their stick. I would say this is really for sticking a lace down for a few days rather than a couple of hours, so for me it's a bit of overkill. I love the fresh clean smell it has and it's clear so it doesn't leave any streaks or cloudiness. It doesn't ball up and it dries matte unlike other gels I've used have left a oily shine that I don't care for. The hold on this stuff is amazing! It's hard enough to keep my baby hairs in place all day long but doesn't flake or disappear over time. I didn’t like this at all. I wanted to use it after curling my fine hair to give it some “grip” to hold the curls longer. I suggest using another texturizing spray. This one felt very heavy like it pulled my curls down. It was also quite wet and I didn’t feel like it dried. My curls fell faster than usual, I really didn’t like this product. My fiancé usually uses the got2b glued pomade in the yellow tube. It has very strong hold and you have to wash it out or you will have helmet head. This product, the spray wax, was awesome! Not as heavy as the tube version, and I was able to use it lightly to give my hair volume after the bath. The spray nozzle is great, it doesn't stream out, it distributed the wax evenly over the area you are spraying. It lasted all day and would be great for baby hairs or even eyebrows instead of soap. Bought this for my son but ended up using it myself! It has two nozzles, one for flexible texture and one for a stronger hold. The way it works is one nozzle let’s put more product at a time. It has a nice scent and dries down fast. If you over apply it, it can make your hair sticky, after all it is a wax spray, but it isn’t nearly as bad as other brands I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a textured look then I recommend you give this a try!kristey .h

This product is amazing in my opinion. Keeps the brow hairs in place all day. The product is easily removed with your normal makeup remover too. Bought this as I was looking for a new brow gel/brow soap product to try, read the reviews and many people said it was great… tried it and there’s NO hold. I don’t have thick brows and similar products work fine but this one is terrible, my eyebrows did not stay in place from the get go; even after I used my finger multiple times to smooth them down whilst drying. Con- Not worth 1 star at all. Wouldve rated it 0 stars if I could. Came less than half full with leakage. Bought the real one on amazon before and compared. This one was fake. I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn't like it. I thought it wasn't holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn't using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It's all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven't tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It's just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I've gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid thekiyah.j
This glue holds your lace very well. I don't have to worry about it moving or slipping. I used 4 layers and took my time to let it dry. Be very careful not to let any of your baby hairs touch the glue. Beginners should cut the lace before applying and draw a faint line to guild where the glue should be because it's strong stuff.
