Wow! I bought this costume last year and realized it was completely inappropriate and problematic. The Day of the Dead is a historically significant holiday in Mexico. Wearing this costume exploited elements of that culture without actually acknowledging its history and its rich meaning. This costume reduces a complex tradition into a flimsy outfit for one-time use. I'm giving this costume one-star because Halloween is all about having fun and enjoying ourselves-but it doesn't have to be at the expense of cultures, histories and entire traditions. If you want to celebrate the Day of the Dead I recommend learning more about it and it's meaning, instead of wearing it as a costume because you think it looks cool.Haha
Clearly, I accidently judged a book by it's cover. And I judged the photo comparing it to the actual product. It's amazing how it fits but of course the long pieces on the sides are rather short and you get two long strands of hair in the front. I'm guessing with a little styling I can make it look like the photo but I was really hoping to buy a wig that compliments my face. This wig is honestly JUST there. A good 8 out of 10 rating from me. My daughter tried it on and it insatlty ripped she is a small 13 years old and got the xsmall. The jacket was missing and we didn’t get it. The shorts are incredibly short and too inappropriate for kids and even women! The shirt was a crop but the printing was horrible and when I washed it It came straight off in the washing machine. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. Anywho so I trimmed the lace, plucked & parted it, and I even took a black sharpie & darkened the roots to my liking & “Walla” she’s stunning now!! I’ve worn real hair for years, so I’ve found that stying synthetic hair is a little different, but this Swiss lace turned out to be easy to work with & melt just fine. This costume was purchased for me by a friend so we could dress up while passing out candy. It's not a terrible costume, but it's not the greatest either, it definately has flaws. Like many before me have mentioned this costume runs small, so you -will- need to order a size up. I also do not reccomend it for taller women (I'm around 5 feet), or else there may be gaps at the neck, wrists, and ankles. The gloves are cheap, and not sewn well, I highly suggest finding replacements. The ruffles at the wrists are not attached to the gloves or the sleeves of the jumpsuit, they're like elastic bracelets you have to put on. The collar was also seperate from the costume, it has an elastic band on the back and you pull it over your head to let it sit around your neck. It too was cheaply made, the edges fray, and the material was not heavy enough to rest around your neck without it flopping around. To remedy this I spent several hours sewing the collar onto the jumpsuit, after that it looked much better. The boot covers and mask are also cheap, and not worth using. And for one last nitpick that only nerds like me care about, the sleeve colors are swapped, and don't match the top two color sections on the jumpsuit like in the cartoon/comics. But on the positive side the suit fits wonderfully, maybe a little restrictive at times, but its fine to walk around in. The cowl is also great, the horns stand up perfectly on their own, though they wobble some. All and all I would reccomend this costume to any Batman fan as long as they don't mind inaccuracies or fixing up/replacing the costumes accesocries.Kate
I bought this because it was the only classic, full-body Harley Quinn costume I could find. It looks pretty awesome, and you'll certainly get compliments and turn heads. However, there are a few very unfortunate problems. From the chest down, everything fit perfectly, but the arms are extremely tight, and the neck even more so, it's hard to breath. Also, all the black diamonds on the costume were faded before I put it on, and they are now barely visible (and I had only worn the costume once). The eye mask is was too tight, and so are the gloves. The head piece is also an awkward fit. All in all, if you have your heart set on the classic Harley look, buy it, but don't expect to be comfortable. The costume is far from perfect.A

This is a lovely wig. I love that it's thinner and hand tied. I'm not a fan of the ear to ear lace. It tends to stick up around the ear tabs and you can see it. I've tried glue but it just cakes up on the lace and doesn't work anyway. I wish I had gotten the regular julianne with velvet ear tabs. I am so glad I tried the light version in the julianne before paying a ridiculous amount of money for the carrie light and realizing the lace ear tabs are terrible. If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.Gerri
I have bought several regular January's in the past, and have always thought they had too much permatease, but would repurchase it because it is closest to the style and color I am looking for. This was my first January Hand Tied. I am pleased to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. The best part is that there is NO permatease, which had always made it too hot to wear in the summer, and now I don't have to worry about wefts showing since there are none. The lace front on mine is fantastic in the color 14/25 – the highlighting and knotting is the best it's ever been. It is much less tiger-striped looking than it had been about 5 years ago. The hand tied January also has less density than regular January, so I only thinned it slightly in spots compared to my major thinning of regular January. Both versions of January tend to be less shiny than the straight versions of synthetics, which is a plus for me. The Jon Renau regular synthetic fibers last longer than the other brands I have tried as well.Brahm
