I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah
I have purchased several wigs from Vogue over the past few years, and I've bought more than one of this style. The texture and quality make it my very favorite! It is unbelievably realistic with the look and feel of real hair, whether you wear it straight or curly. I always trim bangs on mine and typically trim off some of the length for a little more layered look. The highlighting is so natural that I've had several people ask me who does my hair! I wear this almost every day and regular washing helps keep it soft and reduces fraying on the ends. I've also found that using a curling iron or flat iron will also help with some of the fraying on the ends. This wig also has a very natural monofilament top which allows the hair to lay very nicely no matter how you part it. The best feature of this wig is the texture of the hair, which allows you style it as you would your own. It's amazingly natural looking, soft, and beautiful!

I have 100% hair loss and a sensitive scalp. I bought this one to wear around the house with a thick cotton liner on those days when I need a break from the adhesives I use with my 100% hand tied wigs. It's a great style. I wish it came in a 100% hand tied version WITHOUT that cone-head "bump" on the crown that's so unnatural. Since it's a wear-away-from-the-face style, the lace front should be ear-to-ear instead of just the crown. Please find a more comfortable lace because the standard is itchy. The Glazed Strawberry bills itself as a "light red" but it reads as brown. I wish more wig manufacturers offered light reds that look honestly red, not brown, not orange/ginger, but real red strawberry blonde with blonde streaks. Glazed Strawberry is nice but just too dark and too brown.Tish

I got Go for it in shadow shade licorice. The fit is great, the look perfect. Like all RW wigs, it needs thinning on the top. That said, the length is great, side coverage excellent, and a great shade of gray!! I would recommend this hair to anyone who doesn't mind thinning it or having their stylist do it. I tried this wig on in a store today….I love pixies and summer is getting hot so I wanted something new, but not necessarily "trendy" (I am 55 years old) This wig is perfect! It has long layers that fluff up perfectly and with a little cream will stay in place (SO important in summer!) The nape is short enough, but not too short, it stayed in place well. It only has a lace front (I am a spoiled lace front, mono top, 100% hand tied wig type of woman) but it is cut so well that you can easily hide the permatease with minimal work and product. Arrived in 3-4 days, price competitive. Alot of hair! It would be great if you could make this in an 18" length and thin out some. I found it was to long to manage due to the thickness of it. Not really an every day wearable wig, tangles to much. I enjoy wearing it but choose wisely on days I can. Windy days will not work. Parting well I'm a WHITE girl lace L part is way to dark for me, so I can't wear it down as I would love to. Concealer does not work a lighter color option would be great for the lace. I ordered this to see twigs in concert last fall, and she loved it! 🥺❤️ The edges were a bit tricky to lay as they are sparse but people that are more experienced with synthetic lace could probably work around that. I first purchased this wig in color T4/Ashblonde, then 4/613. The colors and look of the hair is beautiful. Had I known the issues with this wig, I would not have ordered another wig in this brand/style. Pros: shiny, straight locks, many compliments, beautiful color, better quality synthetic hair. Cons: hair falls excessively, ends tangles and mattes. The hair ends are thicker than the upper part of the wig which causes it to start matting within a few minutes of wearing the wig. Hair sheds everywhere even if you aren't styling it at that moment. There was shedded hair on my desk at work, my work chair, pretty much wherever I'd go, I had to make sure no shedded hairs were left behind. I had this same issue with another style wig in the Dashly series. Raquel Welch wigs are my go-to, and I've purchased several styles. But the Classic Cut is my favorite because it IS a bit thinner than other wigs, and so looks far more natural to me. The style, the length, and the bangs are a perfect fit, right out of the box. It's lightweight, cool, and comfortable, and feels like silk. I get more compliments on this wig than any others I've worn. I've tried Biscuit and Silver Mist and love them both.
I previously purchased this item in a different color. I loved this wig and the fit. Unfortunately the new wig in different color will not fit. From front to back of crown is 1/2 inch bigger, ear tab across front to other ear tab is also 1/2 inch bigger, and crown to bottom is also 1/2 inch bigger. Wig can not be worn as it won't stay on my head. To return item costs me over $17.00, which I don't have extra funds for. It was marked as regular size, it's a jumbo!!! I've looked at this wigs many times but then I'd hesitate thinking it might be too full, too "bowl-like" or too sensible. I finally picked it up at one of Heather's great sales. I received the wig within 3 days!!! MUCH faster than the most popular wig company. When I order from them, it takes that long to confirm that I placed an order. I will order all my wigs from this site in the future. I so appreciate the excellent service. Now, about the wig… Love the color RL8/29 hazelnut (rooted). It's really really pretty! I especially like the density. It's not thick and will require no thinning. This is the 8th wig I've purchased since last May. My favorites have been JR Kristen and JR Cameron. I also loved RW Play it Straight. Ive always bought mono parts or full mono thinking it would look more natural. They do. However, the Classic Cut only has a mono crown. I was thrilled at how great this wig looked right out of the box. It comes just below my chin in front and midway down my neck in the back. Seems like it will hit just above the collar, which I think will avoid the problem with it bumping against it and becoming matted. Bottom line… Super cute, nice length, minimal shine, low density. This is my first wig review but I just just had give one on this one. Thank you Cysterwigs!!!

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.
I was waiting for my wig to arrive anxiously. I was worried about the color being too red and also unsure about the fit of the cap on my 23inch head. Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!

I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I called customer service and was told it is a different manufacturer and no return because it’s a final sale. Now I have to spend another $50.00 to get it cut and styles just so that it’s wearable. I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy
I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. But, I do have long hair that I wear up in a mesh wig cap – so maybe it would be OK for someone with very fine short hair.Erin W.
