I bought this wig as an alternate to the Soft and Subtle so it would look like I striaghtened my hair. The style is straight and classy, can be easily fluffed up for a different look. I used some Jon Renau Piece Out cream to style the side bang to stand up rather than lie flat over my forehead – easy to do and it looks so modern and natural that way. I also can put the hair behind my ears without it causing my ears to stick out because the denier is fine. The wig can also be styled in a half up/half down. The color I have is GL8-10. Hello! Runway Wave’s fibers feel very soft and the style is very realistic. I purchased mine in the 14/22 which is a very pretty shade of ash blonde in my opinion. However, I wish that Gabor offered their wigs in more realistic shaded root colors like Raquel Welch does or Jon Renau. I do have to say that Gabor does blondes nicely, especially their fabulous ash tones! However, I was reluctant to purchase this in SS (shaded at the roots) version because of the reviews that I saw online. This color to me on this particular blonde looks as if it’s just a “done at home poor root touch up” — not a shaded high quality sought after expensive wig color! It is very brassy at the roots and just looks like a really bad color job gone awry!! I would have given this a 5 star review except for not having a rooted version since it could have looked even more realistic. This is the only thing that Gabor is missing in their line. Please consider adding more rooted varieties. Also add a nice 19/23SS blonde like Raquel has and some more straighter current versions, even highlights would be nice as well to your repertoire. Third fit better, but the highlighting was much thicker/bolder around the face. Thinking as might return the third, as well. This is unfortunate, because otherwise the length and the waves are really beautiful. I usually get 8/29 Hazelnut, and generally really like Gabor/RW wigs, particularly how they do a little lighter on the lace front to blend better. Plant arrived with leaves missing. This may be the fault of the plant, not the company as I have been trying for 2 years, purchased 5 other failed orange rocket barberry plants only to have to dig them up and toss out later. Home Depot: 2 sets of 2, $44 each 2gal, purchased months apart with leaves missing, amazon 2qt size $29, plant arrived no leaves. Plant from brighter bloom came in the best condition as roots were still intact, branches very bendable, no leaves but planted it and will see what happens. I do have 2 orange rocket barberry plants planted 2 years ago, and once established it is a very easy care, beautiful plant. Would love to find another orange rocket barberry, but will not attempt a 7 th time. I have above average abilities in gardening, have never had a failed experience as it has been with this plant.Linda G.

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!

Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I like the cut and color (Oyster) of this wig. It's easy to wear (once my stylist trimmed the bangs away from my face). The lace front however, has dark spots that are visible to others in daylight. Therefore, I'm wearing this one at night only. FYI, I recently bought a Raquel Welch Classic Cool (in R61 Palest Pearl) too, and its lace front does not have that problem.Olivia B.
This adorable bob is so fun and perfect for summer. It's my first blonde wig so I decided to try the 12FS8 Shaded Praline. I usually wear brunette colors and the dark root is a easy way to transition to the blondes! Ignite is SO SOFT the HD fibers are beautiful and not as much shine as the regular synthetic fibers. I have not used any heat on her yet because the cut is so perfect the way it is. Ear tabs are a little short on me and this only matters because I have a shaved head so I like the coverage, but the style frames the face in a great way that it works. The cap construction all in all is comfortable and cool to wear. I want to get Ignite in more colors because it is just so cute! Highly recommend it!Joanna A.
