I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!

Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. If you are an everyday wig wearer like I am, then I would not recommend this wig. I wanted to try it because I'd heard that it was similar to Angelica by Noriko but at a lower price point. I also wanted a basic cap/non lace front wig as an alternative to my more expensive Jon Renau wigs. First, let me say that I waited about a week after wearing this wig before writing this review. I ordered the color-walnut brown, which is a really nice warm brunette color with a hint of dark auburn (not highlights but blended together). The length is lovely, and the front doesn't fall on the face as much as the Angelica wigs do. It was nice and soft when I took it out of the box, but after 2 days of daily wear, it started to get really dry and scratchy as if I had been wearing it for months. Keep in mind, I only wear long wigs, so I am aware of all the extra care needed in order to make them last and to keep them in their best shape. A heavy amount of conditioning spray did get the wig feeling softer, but that only lasted a day and then it went right back to being scratchy. I even tried the Silicone spray, but that didn't help either. Also, after the 3rd day of wear, the permatease started to bunch up, making it so that the wig look really awkward on my head.Katherine C.
I ordered this again, as I loved the first one, in silky sand. I just send back second one, with photos, to show how defective it was, requesting postage refund too. I own this in the Light Blonde. The fibers look like natural hair. The wig hugs the nape of neck like natural hair. Of all the different brands that I’ve purchased over the past 7 years, this was the most natural right out of the box. I did trim the front for bangs, which I think give wigs a more natural and real looking hairline. I’ll purchase another when the price is lower. By the way, I believe the size is average. I typically order petite if available, but this fit like a petite. So if you have a larger head, it may not fit properly. For me, it’s very comfortable. (I always had baby fine hair, but after many chemo treatments, my hair is half of what it is was. So not much there. But the convenience of wearing wigs and not having to worry about bad hair days because of rain, snow, humidity, wind, etc. is a blessing)Sharon

This wig is fantastic. There is no fuss with this one. I just put it on and finger it here and there and I'm good to go. I just wish the light brown color I ordered was a little lighter. It seems Gabor's colors run dark. So I've also ordered the brown blonde which I haven't received yet. I'll see how that looks. But all in all, a great wig. People love it.Carol
I've owned many Gabor Wigs – but this… this one was absolutely horrid! The quality of hair fibers were rough, tough and frizzy. Purchased this because I liked the layers and feathered sides. But the wig I received had no shape or style to it – the hair was sticking up and was all over the place. It looked like someone tried thinning it -there were weird spots where it was thin and in other spots it was thick. Also, it is shorter than the picture. I am seriously displeased and disappointed with this wig! I can't even send it back because I desperately tried to get the wig to hold some sort of neat shape using styling cream (totally unsuccessful…). I'm glad I got this on sale and didn't pay full price! Gabor Wigs – if this is your new "standard" you are going to lose a long time and faithful customer – PLEASE improve your quality control!! Bottom line: fit was fine, color was "okay" (brown blonde), quality is very poor and style is hopeless.Debra C.
