Olaplex hair care is turning my hair goals into success. I struggled with my hair care up until now. I saw my friend using it and I immediately wanted to try it because it made her hair look so nice and healthy. I use their shampoos and conditioners, their bonding oil, and their hair mask. They have numbers for certain hair goals and it didn't take me long to find the right one for me. On the website they have description on their products and what numbers do the best for you. This can lead you do find the type of hair care your hair needs. I'm a bright blonde so it is tricky to find the right products to keep that color. Olaplex doesn't make my color last any less. So for people who have colored hair and worry about it this is for you. Before the using this line my hair color only lasted about 3 weeks. This is such a fast fade. After using the products my hair has kept up with the color and had lasted longer than 3 weeks. I consistently use their purple shampoo once a week.Other shampoos and conditioners fade my bright blonde hair. This was so frustrating because then I would have to go back for so many more appointments then I needed. Olaplex keeps my hair bright blonde and maintains it. Although they are expensive and come in medium sized bottles I think they are still worth it. The shampoo and conditioner are 30 dollars each. This isn't so bad because you get away with using just little blobs that goes a long way. The shampoo is number 4 and the conditioner is number 5. The next product I use is the number 8 bond intense moisture mask. This mask sits in my damp hair for 10 mins. After that I go back in with my shampoo and conditioner. This makes my hair styleable and has more body. This keeps my hair shiny, smooth, and healthy. This product is also 30 dollars. I think this price might be a little much because it comes in a smaller bottle. But in the end process it is giving you what you are looking for. I usually use this hair mask once a week. I try to use it at the beginning of the week to get it prepped for the week full of styling. The next product I use is the bonding oil. This product is made for dry or wet hair. It is a heat protectant, detangler, enhances shine, and reduces frizz. For me this product met all the criteria. The bonding oil number is 7. The smell of this product is great. I mainly use this product when I get out of the shower to help detangle my hair and keep the frizz away for the morning. This keeps me waking up with my hair staying shiny. I also use it when I'm about to style my hair when it is dry. I only put it on my ends and then I continue to style my hair and apply heat. Now this product is also 30 dollars. I think this one is way overpriced because it is a super tiny container. Especially if you use it every single night. My hair before has been rough. Split ends after split ends, dry hair, and washing it constantly. My hair has always had terrible split ends and it was so hard for me to figure out why. After trying so many different products I finally feel like I found what helps me the most. Since I get my hair dyed and style it so often it does go through a lot of damage. Continuing sports as well makes it hard for me to not wash it as much so it doesn't get as dry. Bur after finding what I needed this is perfect. But overall I think the brand is perfect for people who need this type of hair care. It is also great because their line is made for every hair type, it just depends on the condition of your hair.madison

I bought this for my wife and she use this with the No.0, No.3 and the No.4 I must say the combo of these products together is amazing. Her hair was pretty much destroyed frome excessive styling, blow drying and box dyes. We could totally tell a difference after just one use of these products. Her hair looks healthier, has more shine and manageability, doesn't look as damaged, she isn't yanking out knots when she wakes up and brushes her hair plus it has so much softness and looks smooth not frizzy. It seems like the texture, strength, and even the way her hair is laying is totally changing. The smells not over powering which is something we both love because sometimes hair fragrances clash with perfumes but not Olaplex it's perfectly balanced. Unlike a lot of conditioners it doesn't take a lot to cover your hair and even though the bottles aren't the biggest which was kind of a let down the magic that comes out of those bottles can't be beat and it's so worth it! Thank you Olaplex for giving my wife control of her hair and confidence back. We can't wait to see what happens after extended use. I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results. It’s made me finally feel like I can get my hair back to something I love again. It's a bit pricey but trust me its worth it. I was tired of my hair feeling gross, dry on the ends and oily at the roots. I threw away all my other garbage shampoos and I finally found the shampoo of all shampoos. Def sticking with this one a little lathers up a bunch. I can go 2-3 days without looking like an oily mess. And it makes my hair smell soo good. Def worth the money if youre tired of your hair having build up.emily p.

So, I hesitated about writing this review because I don’t like to complain, and I did love this product when I first purchased it. My hair was soft, smelled great, and I even had people commenting on the health & shine it had. I loved this product so much I stocked up on it.

About a year into using this shampoo and conditioner duo along with the leave in treatment I noticed an unusual amount of hair fall. I thought nothing of it assuming it was my hair screaming at me for the heat/hair dye ect. However, I noticed it more and more and after 6 months of extreme shedding I decided I should look into what was going on. First i started taking supplements (Womens vitamins and biotin) assuming it was my dreadful diet to blame. No change. I put a shower head filter in to filter my shower water. No change. Then I went cold turkey on heat styling, and stopped using hair dye. Nothing seemed to help. I even bought different ‘it’s a 10’ products to try to “strengthen” my hair. I attempted to not wash my hair but once a week… still incredible amounts of fall out. I was lost. Finally I changed shampoo. I started noticing in the shower less and less fall out, soon brushing my hair produced less wads of hair to clean from my brush. It seems I have found the culprit. I have spent 6 months trying to identify what I was doing wrong, and all signs point to “it’s a 10”.

I’m posting this not out of anger, or spite, but because everywhere I looked I saw “how great” this product is …. I even asked my hair dresser what she recommended for hair fall and she asked what I use and I told her “it’s a 10” and she raves about how great the product is.

my hair is incredibly thin and I have little baby regrowth. I don’t want someone else to go through what I did and change shampoo when it’s too late. So if u r using it’s a 10 and noticing a lot of fall out… maybe it just doesn’t work for us?

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. It's a shame so many people left 1 star reviews because it just didn't work for them. It would be different if there was something wrong with customer service or the product itself. However, with skin care, nail care, and hair care so much of whether or not it'll work for you is left biology and body chemistry and you have to try different products to find the one that works with yours. I gotta pass on this one, this shampoo claims to be moisturizing but it is definitely the complete opposite, with that being said I used this shampoo and it left my hair feeling strong.. yes! Moisturized no! I don’t hate it but I don’t reach for it either.. Due to the ingredients I would definitely use it for a strengthening shampoo rather than a moisturizing shampoo, it’s more of a clarifying shampoo. I loved this conditioner so much!! I love that I could feel my conditioner working on my scalp. The texture was like lotion and it smelled nice. It didn’t smell medicated like I thought it would. I’m literally excited to use this again. I am upset that I feel it is necessary to use he scalp lotion in order for my scalp to stay not itching. It’s been 2 days since I washed my hair and my scalp already itches. I’m thinking it’s because I didn’t use the scalp lotion the first go around. That lets me know that you have to use all the scalp care products to get desired affect. I also have mixed emotions about my scalp tingling until I rinse all the conditioner out. I do love how my hair was so soft afterward and didn’t feel dry. This routine could prove to be expensive. You definitely need to follow the instructions and wash at least twice a week. I have always had a love/hate relationship with conditioner. I love how it can restore moisture to my dry hair and scalp, but I hate how much I have to use at times. I feel like I use half the bottle at times to get the product through my hair but I do not have that issue with this conditioner! My hair is left feeling soft and moisturized without any residue left after rinsing. My scalp was left feeling hydrated even after rinsing. Scalp dryness after washing is an issue I usually have with other conditioners but not with this one. Just like the shampoo this scent is pleasant and felt like an added aroma therapy session during my shower. This is also a very generous amount of conditioner for the cost. For me, I didn’t enjoy the conditioner as much… and I love conditioner. I prefer conditioner over shampoo most times in cleansing my hair. I have very dry, 4B, porous hair. So it’s easy for my hair to lose moisture, especially when there isn’t enough in the product. There wasn’t enough slip in the conditioner which caused my hair to feel dry. Clean yes! Moisturized and easy to manage post braids no! Im giving this a 3 out of 5 because it is a treatment product, and therefore it’s primary function is to work with the shampoo and treat the main concern. It was my own disappointment and expectations with what I need out of my hair products.. which is a lot! And I get that so I’m not going to punish Mizani for that. Aside for that.. Eden BodyWorks peppermint tea tree oil shampoo is nothing short of amazing. I have been using this shampoo since it was introduced into the market. It's perfect for itchy, dandruff prone scalps. The company has changed the label and the formula with much less peppermint in the formula (I have both and have compared ingredients on the back of the bottles). I bought the extra volume shampoo and conditioner after seeing so many good reviews, but have been disappointed in both. I've been using these for over two weeks now and seen no particular improvement or change in volume, shine, or frizz. One of the selling points is also that it's supposed to smell great but the shampoo in particular just smells like salon perm and dye chemicals, resulting in an unpleasant cleansing experience. That scent is less prominent in the conditioner, but still there. The conditioner is also weirdly thin and watery feeling, even after squeezing as much water from my hair as possible. I have never used conditioner until about a year ago when I made the switch from after shower conditioner spray to this product. I mentioned this in my review of the extra volume shampoo, I did not notice a “extra volume” factor in this conditioner but I do notice it has changed my hair for the better. Specifically for the conditioner, I only have to make one round of brushing out my hair instead of brushing over the same spot over and over again which really has helped thicken my hair. My Mother has been using Paula Young products for years. She has always had very thin hair, and has been wearing Paula Young wings for over 25 years. The wigs are well made and hold up very well. I recently purchased her another one, with more gray, as she is now 86 yrs old. I purchased myself a little topper…delicate touch..real hair. I was very excited to think that I could just pop this on my head in the morning with minimal fixing, but unfortunately not. The product is nice, great color that matches mine. But it’s made so that the majority of the hair falls to back and sides and the hair in the front ….only stays to the front. There is a definite line of demarcation and despite my playing with this, fussing, pulling my own hair through to blend it….it is obvious that it’s a hair piece. I think the design of the product needs to be redesigned. I’m disappointed.Gina

The wig that said it was called “Brooklyn” was WAY too long for me and I couldn’t remember even ordering it, nor would I have if I had known how long it was. I looked it up online and could not even find the wig (name OR number). It said there was no recognition of a wig with that name or number. I didn’t even try it on after seeing the length of it, so I’m sending it back for a refund. I WOULD like to know why you charge $9.95, taken off the refund? A wig sent that wasn’t even listed on Paula Young online! After buying from Paula Young for many years, I’m hesitant to do so in the future.Gail

I cannot yet give a review on this product, but I can give one on the refund process for a returned item. I purchased 3 clip on hair pieces( one is still on backorder) and received the other two. They were the wrong hair color and I didn’t care for one of them. I returned both items(one for exchange and one for refund). The exchange happened in a timely matter as expected, but the refund has been a nightmare. I’ve had to call on 4 different occasions, receiving different answers each time. I am still waiting for a refund, after almost a month, and was just told it will be another 26 days to receive my refund. I like their products, but their refund process along with having customer service agents on the same page needs some definite improvement. Hopefully, I will receive my refund this time. We’ll see.
